Sona Kamat, MD, FACR, is a leading board-certified rheumatologist at West County Rheumatology in Saint Louis. Allison is a nurse practitioner with West County Rheumatology. I cannot say enough good things about her concern for my condition, she is very compassionate, knowledgeable of the disease and methods for effect treatment, instructing me on medication use or disease reactions in a clear easy to understand explanation.
The treatment helped me to feel much better and they always answer my questions any time via the online message system. The lab is conveniently located next door and there is never too long of a wait.
If I could give them 0 stars, I would. She was trying (not succeeding) to use scare tactics to get me on a medication. When nothing in my blood tests were out of the norm. I have some inflammation but nothing severe. They wanted me on aggressive medication that could cause organ damage, all precautionary which is insane.

My visit was great. Personnel, in the infusion lab, are friendly and professional. The only complaint I have is some visitors, in the infusion are allowed to pull masks under their chin, even though they are not eating. Many patients, like myself, are immunosuppressed, so masks should remain in place by all, unless eating. Thanks.
