Evil. Period. Turned our water off early morning the day after Christmas because of a payment oversight, then said they had no other choice and had held off as long as they could. Essentially, claiming they have zero control over their actions after a certain time has elapsed. $80 re-connection fee.
Get a notice that I have an unpaid balance, after having paid automatically for years. Try to call for a week now to correct the issue, get an automated message, with no way to connect to a human. Then, also no way to leave a message. How the Hell do I pay my bill?!?!
By far the worst customer service i have experienced. Threats made to children in the home. WHAT IN THE WORLD?? Called and left message for customer service manager. …
Late on your bill? No worries… After 30 days we’ll shut that pesky water off. No joke-Balance $30 so figured I’d pay it next bill cycle, Nope “7 days until water shutoff” . The one star is for providing water. I guess we are publicly owned if that means anything.
I sold my home and asked for PUD to stop billing me on 9/6/16 and they turned off my water on 9/6/16 as requested. I got an email after I signed at the title company saying it would close on 9/16 stating it would be pushed to 9/9/16 …
Worse customer service I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. They make promises of when there end of the job will be done, miss dead lines because not having the right equipment to fix their own lines. But the best part is they do their best to make you feel like it’s your fault.
I just go to the park there in the back to read before work sometimes. Peaceful. Not much other than the occasional person walking their dog in the field, and after 5pm or on a holiday it can feel as though no one is around for miles, even though the screams of the freeway are always in the air.
Disgusting customer service. Didn’t have my correct address, left no messages or emails, turned off my water without any notification, then forced me to pay an extra $80 fee to send someone out to turn it back on.
these people are the absolute worst customer service in the world i would rather talk to someone in a third world country that doesn’t have water than to deal with these people ever again. no tag on the door, no warning letter, no phone …
Never seen such incompetant management. Lady’s up front are great but are tragicly treated terrible by upper management. The emloyees are great people who put their careers into the wrong place. If you have to speak with Sharon you might as …
Horrible customer service. If you get stuck with Sharon, you might as well just give up now. She is a rude, uncaring woman and I’m amazed she is allowed to treat customers so horribly and talk to them in such a demeaning manner. Everytime I …
I don’t have experience paying utility bills but I don’t think Skagit PUD can really be as bad as people are saying. You know “Skagit PUD operates the largest water system in the county, providing nine million gallons of piped water to …
They charge a lot for water but we’ve never had any issues until recently. I read all of the reviews about people having their water turned off while being on auto pay. I turned on auto pay and for years never had a problem so I chalked it …
Honestly, I just had a wonderful experience over the phone. I had a problem with water quality, and they were thoughtful, responsive, asked around, and got me a reasonable and timely answer. Super friendly, super caring. I don’t think there …
Not sure why I get threats to shut off my service 10 days before it is due… but it makes it sound like I am late paying when I am not. And also when I was late this time they called and said they were going to shut off my water only @ 9 …
Not sure if you guys record your phone calls or not, but if so, your general manager should really start listening to phone calls through the Supervisor (Sharon). I’ve never in my life had a worse experience, and I work in customer service …

Water service utility for most of Skagit county. They do a great job. They are easy to work with. Give them a call anytime!
