Love my TRICARE Selman Supplement! I pay a monthly fee and I don’t have to worry about my yearly deductible or co-pays. Its a great deal! Very economical and I highly recommend it!

We’ve been paying our premiums for months now and they haven’t paid a single claim. Call wait times are continually excessive (30 minutes plus) . They changed their claims address without notice or new cards sent, there’s been extra steps to even assess a claim. Wish I had just saved the money instead of purchasing.
Selman & Company Customer Service is impossible to reach. I spent over 2 hours on hold trying to contact them as well as having left a voice mail and sent an email neither of which were returned. Customer Service representative Athena Davis assisted me. I called without my policy number or anything available to request new ID cards. I did have to wait about 5 minutes to talk to a rep, but after Athena came on to assist me, I was done in just a couple minutes with the cards emailed to me and sent regular mail. She was great.

If I could give a negative rating I would. Our clinic has stopped accepting Selman Insurance!!!!! We have mailed claims certified mail, sent them electronically and never received EOBs or even a denial letter. Hold times have been over 4 ā¦

I URGE everyone to do a cost analysis with this company. ChampVa has a MAXIMUM out of pocket of 3000 dollars per year. Selman charges $1032+ per year and has a 250 dollar per person deductible. So $1280 spent before they begin to pay. ā¦

I could not be more satisfied with Selman & Company. I bought a supplemental policy to complement my Tricare and it has been more than convenient to use. The customer service is fantastic and responsive. I recommend it to every military retiree that I know.
I’ve used Selman & Company as a secondary insurance for a few years now and have never had an issue. They’re prompt with a benefit entitlement statement and prompt with payment (provided the institution takes the time to bill my secondary insurance company). They provide a cost effective plan with great service and benefits.
I have had a few different TRICARE supplement insurances, Selman is by far the best I have worked with.

I received a letter stating that because I turned 65 that as of July 31, 2022 my coverage would stop. My coverage stopped but my auto pay premiums have not. I call them and they do nothing to stop it.
