Signature Psychiatric Hospital Reviews ( 74 )

  1. This place is a waste of time. The doctors don’t want to help but are quick to charge your insurance and copay. This is not the place to be if you need help. If I could give negative stars I would. VERY HORRIBLE

  2. all of the staff members didn’t take this pandemic seriously and the fact that I keep crying and they kept ignoring me and my problems saying im delusional only thing good was the food it felt like a confined space they told me it was free but it wasn’t

  3. Terrible, do NOT bring your loved ones here. The staff does not communicate with you about what is going on, phone calls are never returned, they don’t have enough staff to deliver the services they offer. This is a disgrace of a facility.

  4. GARBAGE experience. Came here looking for help, was instantly treated as a dangerous, threatening person as they locked away all of my belongings and wouldn’t tell me why. Made to wait 2 whole hours, only spent a maximum of 20 minutes talking to staff.

  5. Came out the hospital just recently and just found out I had lice. But safe protection, okay staff, bad service, and they don’t give you the right medication, always get mixed up.

  6. My son was removed from the facility when he should have been on a 96 hour hold. He was taken there by the facility to McDonalds and dropped off without any one to care for him. That is considered ABANDONMENT OF A PATIENT. I expected him to receive care as he was immediately post suicide attempt.

  7. This is not a detox center. Is a mental institution. I don’t recommend this place at all. I’m about to put law suit for liying and motivation me to enroll in the program. I’m a alcoholic. It feels like a jail. Please don’t go there …

  8. Extremely disappointed in the “care” my son who was in crisis recieved. Instead of helping him they had him arrested for property damage and he was released to police while on a suicide hold because he was too difficult. DO NOT try to get care here. Anywhere has to be better.

  9. Definitely the worst place I have ever been in for mental problems…. nothing to do except set in a room …. they don’t listen to why you are there….they don’t care….you can’t get a straight answer to a simple question…. horrible horrible place

  10. NO TIME FOR PAYIENTS. I went in for an assessment. I left after an hour and 10 mins of being told they would be right with me. They told me to come in Thurs at 5pm. I called because I was running 10 mins late. They told me to come in …

  11. DO NOT EVER EVER let them put you in the Signature Liberty hospital unless you just need a place to land for a bit. There is nothing helpful about the groups. I NEVER got to sit down and talk to a therapist in an entire’s week time. The bed had a rickety old thin mattress. Should I go on, really?

  12. I give this facility a 0 out of 5, but I guess I have to give a rating. The absolute worst possible rehabilitation center I have seen. The nurses and especially the psychiatrist on duty are very careless with patient’s problems. They are …

  13. I have recently stayed at this facility. For the most part this is a good facility. As with any place there are issues that come up now and then. No place is perfect and not all people are perfect. Dr. Barash is very direct in his manner of …

  14. Worse place to go, I was threaten with a 96 hour holding and on top of that a month holding because I told the head nurse that dr.brash was rude and sent me into a panic attack. After that I had to be nice to that jack wagon. And the last …

  21. So I’m posting publicly to do away with some of the stigma associated with mental health issues. I am an ex EMT-Paramedic and had a panic attack that almost exactly mimicked a heart attack. Long story short, later that week spent 4 hours …

  22. Dr. Barash put me here because he felt like he could not control me anymore. It was jail. A year later when I requested my records formally, they broke the law when they did not fulfill my request in the 30 days that they are REQUIRED to do …

  28. Intake process was a nightmare. No staff was comforting. I waited for 3 hours! The intake assessment lady lied about what I said. Most staff (besides 2) threatened me and did not treat me with respect. Would not recommend anyone coming here for help!!

  29. To give it to you straight STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOSPITAL. I stayed here in hopes of getting better, however the stay was a little useless. It got to a point where the staff was making it worse. The nurses were awful and cared very little …

  30. I’ve been thinking a lot about whether to leave a review or not, but now that my care is complete, I feel it’s important to share my experience. I was in the evening IOP group here March-April 2021 and there was a male therapist running the …

  31. Wonderful staff. I left the group therapy a new person ready and prepare to live the life I want to live. I will always be grateful for the wonderful therapist and counselors. I recommend signature to my family and friends.

  32. Stayed here for 10 days back in February of this year. For the most part the stay was okay. The group sessions were alright and the nurses/techs were either neutral or nice. The food was a little above average. Unlike most people I never …

  34. I had a really bad mental reaction to a medication i was prescribed and decided to check myself into this hospital. After repeatedly telling them it was because of a bad medication they gave me all sorts of diagnoses and made me feel even …

  35. I went for an assessment for the IOP program and it was determined I needed in patient. I wasn’t happy about it, but I did it. It wasn’t a great experience but that was because of me and my issues. The staff handling my outburst with …

  36. I recently spent four days in this Hospital, and suffice it to say my experience was worse than I could have imagined it would be. For the purpose of this review I will only talk about facts and not my opinions. During my 4-day stay I saw …

  42. Had a miserable experience at this hospital. The nurses and social workers are only there to get paid and don’t care about the patients. The place smells like urine and is very dirty. I did a program here for a whole week without seeing a doctor when at the beginning was told we’d have one on one with a doctor twice a week

  44. I stayed at the liberty location for 10 days and received very valuable tools. However, upon release, they had released my cell phone out of my bag of possessions to another patient the Saturday before I was released, jeopardizing my privacy, identity and safety.

  45. I would never recommend a friend family member or loved one to go to their inpatient program if you have never dealt with psychiatrist or psychiatry before. The therapist and people you talk to and meet there are very good. But the nurses …

  46. They literally told me my treatment was fully covered by my insurance. Now they sent a debt collector trying to make me pay 5,000$ not to mention all we did all day was sit watch tv and draw. Their talks about how to recover were stuff like “just breathe and count to 10” yeah really helpful !!

  47. Michael Newbold came to our office for a Lunch and Learn and it was a fabulous experience. He came prepared with literature and described in detail the minutiae of each program Signature offers. He broke each program down for us and …

  50. Absolutely do not take your loved one here. I have been trying to get in contact with my family and they have nasty attitudes and hang up in your face. There is no love here

  51. They do not care at all about their patients. Do not, I repeat do not go here. I had a terrible experience here, and I saw how they were treating other patients. Signature is very unprofessional and disgusting. I had a panic attack at Signature, and I was completely ignored for about an hour. This place should be shut down.

  52. This place is a joke. My soon to be ex now is in there and they refuse to have family meetings so he can build his relationship with his children. He is a manipulator and blames everyone for his problems and they believe him. He gets …
