I’m staring at a blank screen. If you cant hire competent people, how are you going to get advertisers. I can watch shows on my computer with greater reliance than channel 8 today. Not good.

I’m really getting tired of your local commercials cutting into the program time of the national news with Lester Holt as with today’s broadcast and the commercial of Parr Lumber at 12 minutes into the program. This is a continuing situation, not the first, second or third time but many more times than that.
Their KGW School Supply Drive is amazing. The company I work for donated a bunch of supplies to this cause and KGW was so helpful and supportive through all of it.

I was with Ric Conrad author of the book CODE 1244 the story of the 1986 Mount Hood Tragedy. I was one of the Portland Mountain Rescue search coordinators on the largest Search and Rescue ever in the US. Nine persons perished on the mountain. Two students in the Snow Cave survived.
Had a great time, they were doing a segment with the Girl scouts and Mother’s Bistro, My daughter is a Girl scout and was on. Everyone was so nice and just a great atmosphere.
Well it is like be in a other world whit the sophisticated tool around but they are professionals when announce publicly
