Minimum charge of $6.00 on a 1 gallon tank (1 gallon of propane weighs 4.2lb). Tank empty is 11 lbs, when I brought it home and weighed it, it was 13.4. So I got a whopping half gallon of propane for $6.00. These guys are crooks, will be taking it to TSC from now on.

I’ve been using Ortega’s for about a year. I’ve found their price to always be the lowest. In addition they are always friendly, efficient, and quick to respond.
It may be less convenient, but just go to a regular propane fill up station. At least the other places will weight and charge you properly for propane instead of charging you for more than what they give you.
