Strange poor review from another user stating ‘no ranger station at this location.’ Indeed there’s a great ranger station serving a great district that has been in this location since before I first moved to Winthrop in 2002. Google maps puts the dot in the correct place too.
We asked about camping options at the Winthrop office. We received a map provided with NO indication that any of them were closed. The woman that provided the map did not tell us, the map did not say any were closed, plus the website …
