The Boston Globe Reviews ( 21 )

  1. When is the globe’s 2018 co-op draft? My mock has the sophomore out of northeastern going second to Mcgrory, but cullen has to be getting some compensatory picks right? At least a blonde and two tin whistles

  2. Absolutely horrible. Can’t even read a full article before having the page locked out and trying to force a subscription. Not going to give you money if you won’t even let me finish a single article. I’m blocking Boston globe from showing …

  3. I have written 2 guest book comments for a departed cousin’s husband. First one disappeared. I previewed it and tried to submit it…it kept sending me back to edit it…no place to push submit so it would be sent. Several phone calls were on hold so long I have up. I tried to follow frequently asked ?s that was no help

  4. When viewing pop up articles on the web, they tease you into subscribing at 99 cents a week. During first month for renewal after 4 weeks or 28 days they secretly jump it to 27.72 per week and will keep billing until you catch it

  5. The Boston Globe will not unsubscribe me from relentless emails ignoring many submissions of “unsubscribe”… don’t do an e-subscription unless you want an unending barrage of unwanted emails.

  6. Christmas 2018.
I have been open for 5 years, never closed on any holiday.365 days operation.
Opened today and didn’t get the paper. Because I am marked as closed today…. …

  7. I called Boston Globe’s customer service to cancel my subscription as I was no longer able to afford it. Which was a total bummer as I am a big fan of the Globe. BUT my new hero, John (from customer service) was able to give me an AWESOME promotion. I am so incredibly happy with the way this turned out!!! 10/10 THANK YOU JOHN!!!!

  8. It is almost criminal they do not allow readers to cancel subscriptions without calling a support line. First they do not clearly communicate on their website how to cancel. Second they make you wait on a phone line for an agent without …

  9. I was offered a $1 online subscription after I was interviewed for an article. I was surprised to find a few months later that they charged me $27 multiple times for subscription renewal without giving me a heads up or asking my permission. …

  10. These folks are thieves. I was one of the $1/mo subscribers. They use scummy tactics to increase to $27/mo without warning and make it very difficult to cancel. Your best bet is to change your address to California and cancel online. Don’t give these people your business. Mass Live is a great alternative for local news.

  11. Buyer Beware! Signed up for home delivery Sat & Sun promotion rate for 12 weeks then full price. Paid in full with credit card, never received the paper 3 weekends in a row since sign-up (called every Monday to report no delivery). Same …
