This is a “band-aid” hospital. Don’t go here for anything serious. And definitely do not go here thinking you’ll be seen fast. Also, some of the staff could brush up on their social skills. Not everyone they meet is stupid or trash like they seem to treat you. It really is hit or miss here.
On vacation and had an accident. Went to E.R. Staff was wonderful! In, had x-rays, (broke upper arm I 2 places), and was out, in an hour! Wish this was my hometown hospital!
I drive 40 minutes to go to Pomerene Hospital to avoid Wooster Hospital (which is 10 minutes away from my house) for ultrasounds. Pomerene hospital’s radiologist department is amazing.
Dr boyd is a complete jerk! ( putting it nicely !) Waited yesterday 6/29/18 for over 4 hours! And still wasn’t seen! Went in today and waited another 4 hr before Dr. Boyd even bothered to come in and tell me something it wasnt! On top of all that, it’s literly a band-aid place! Absolutely by far the worst hospital, ER and OB I’ve ever been to. I have been traumatized by this place more then once. My children have been prescribed things they don’t need. It’s a disgrace.
Got a COVID test here three weeks ago and I still haven’t gotten the results. I’ve tried calling them several times and I never get an answer. The best hospital for having a baby. We had a still birth and a D & C and they were so caring and have a great bereavement team. I cannot say enough good things about how wonderful and caring they were. They will treat your baby as a baby and not just tissue no matter how old the fetus is. They value the sanctity of life.

My husband went to the ER for severe lower chest pain. The Dr. and nurses were amazing and very kind. They ran a bunch of test and found the cause. He spent 3 days in the hospital.
