North Chattahoochee Family Physicians Reviews ( 109 )

  1. I’m so disappointed. I called today a day before my scheduled appointment to let them know I wasn’t feeling well and not comfortable coming into the office tomorrow. I was told because I was 2 hours short of their 24 hour policy I would be …

  2. What a joke….. street number on website is wrong, girl at front desk knows it’s wrong… 10 minutes late and they sent my husband away…. there are many more doctors out there… not going back

  3. Always professional, easy to work with and pleasant staff. I’m gonna guess satisfied customers don’t think to review their doctors office…

  4. Staff is pathetic and unfriendly. No respect and they act like they’re upset you made an appointment. This is the first review I have ever written and it is because this is the worst business I have ever came across.

  5. Service is always poor. Staff, doctors and PA’s are not friendly. I literally had tests run and they didn’t even run the primary test they were supposed to. Worse doctor office experience I’ve ever experienced.

  6. I have been a patient there for 20 years. I was 10 min late from a 45 min commute and they wouldnt fit me in. The office was great but now they only care about the money.

  7. You can never make an appointment with a doctor. They always recommend a nurse practitioner and the doctors are always busy. If you really want to see an experienced doctor then look for another place. I wouldn’t recommend this place

  8. The N. Chattahoochee location is not the same old N. Chattahoochee. I was not called in for my annual Physical until after 47 minutes after my scheduled appointment. I was charged $557.00 for asking additional questions outside the requirements for regular physical. Avoid….

  9. Unpleasant office staff, doctors don’t pay attention to the patients. Go somewhere else if you want personal and attentive medical care. I was a patient here for 10 years, and in the past 4 it has gone from bad to worse.

  10. My experiences have been generally good with this practice. Dr. Gardner is friendly and attentive and gets to know you personally. Scheduling can be a challenge, but not more than any other practice.

  11. Horrible Accounting Staff, great doctors. Asked them why my bill increase to $200 from $100 with same exact service. They could not give me ANY answer, not only that they got confrontational with me with this simple question. Will not come back.

  12. I have always loved NCFP’s. I’ve been seeing Dr Culpepper for 18+ years and now live in Atlanta. I will not change to a new PCP and drive to Johns Creek to see her. Our entire family was well cared for over the years.

  13. I agree that one of the weak links is billing. They are very quick to tell you they dont work free. They charge an extreme amount to read results from a cholesterol test just to see if your medication is correct.

  14. I can’t say enough about this office. Everyone is kind and caring. They truly care about patients and go above and beyond. I am so glad that I found this practice. Don’t believe these reviews. Try them out and you want be disappointed.

  15. The reviews for this practice are horrible and the only thing I’m seeing from the staff is a bunch of excuses (no real empathy or plan for action). People, STOP using their services! When they clean up their act and the reviews start …

  16. Oh, I love Dr. Culpepper. She takes her time to get to know you and ask pertinent lifestyle questions. It is refreshing to know your doctor cares for you as a person and not just a customer. Keep up the good work, people.

  17. I’m not sure why they’re rating is low because everyone here was great. Sarah, the PA was very kind and helpful and Keith who did my labs was also extremely kind. Great doctors office and they really seem to care. Thanks!

  18. The service provide here is very bad. I had a physical exam in Dec and the results of my physical were not shared with me for over 4 months (after I called in to get it). I got hung up on more than once when I called in to try and …

  19. Due to changes in our Insurance, I am new to this practice… nothing but accolades from the minute I walked in.. Dr. Gardiner just an overall awesome person who takes pride, and time in his practice, and our Nurse Stefanie was, in a word …

  20. You will never see the same doctor with any convenience. I spent 3hrs of my day, for someone I have never met to decide what’s best for me. I have been going there for years, but was treated like someone they had never met. Very disappointed. There is no family in Family Physician here.

  21. This is a GREAT doctor’s office, very professional and office staff is always very helpful. I have been going to this office since 1998 (almost 20 years). I have read some of these reviews and I am shocked; I have had nothing but …

  22. Dr. Gardiner is very personable as is his nurse Stephanie. My husband and I have been going here for years. When we’ve needed to be seen quickly, we’ve scheduled with a nurse practitioner.

  23. Don’t ask the Doctor’s opinion, or even respond to a direct question from the doctor and/or nurse, regarding anything outside of the appointment reason–even if the entire exchange is 2 minutes, or they will charge you for two office visits …

  24. Literally the only thing anyone at this practice cares about is charging you as much as possible. Just because I have insurance does not mean that I am ok with them billing me for unnecessary charges or requiring excessive visits (to be …

  25. Been going to NCFP for last 2 years. I enjoy the staff and they are friendly. I have not experienced any rude physicians or nurses like mentioned below. …

  26. No Masks, No social distancing! I was shocked to see that none of the staff members were wearing any masks, and they don’t enforce any social distancing—about 4 patients where standing shoulder to shoulder in the narrow corridor for blood …

  27. I’ve been a patient with NCFP for over 20 years. Now that Dr. Griffith has left to MD VIP I’m literally being treated like I don’t exist. It is really sad. Additionally, some of the office personnel are extraordinarily rude and …

  28. How this practice stays in business is a true riddle. Dr. Gardiner seems good enough, but dealing with the rude nurses and staff is rediculous. I’ve had a nurse hang up on me because she “had other things to do”. I had 3 questions which I …

  29. Dr. Paul Ellis is AMAZING!
Our family has been going to him for 20 years.
He is very Smart , Thorough and Compassionate and he doesn’t make you feel like …

  30. I will no longer be going to this practice for a number of reasons. They never let you see a real doctor, in my last 5 visits I’ve been forced to see nurses instead of Dr’s. One nurse misread my triglyceride levels which made me have …

  31. I wish I can give this place a zero. I’ve had to wait at least two hours before being seen for every appointment. The staff is rude and inconsiderate. They bill for everything possible even if they don’t really see you for it. I’m calling …

  32. Today ended 15 years as a patient here. Both me & wife. This facility used to be great but has steadily gone downhill. PAs good but Dr support & caring is awful. No trying to understand. Dr turn over excessive. Those there don’t support patients well. Hard to get prescriptions needed and no longer work with pharmacies well.

  33. I have been going there last 11 years, every time I go there with an appointment, need to wait at least 30 mins, I even remember one time waited more than 50 mins. Then when i was late few mins (probably 3 to 4 mins) for appointment, …

  34. I was kinda surprised by the negative reviews. So I figured I would comment. Been going to NCFP for at least 15 years and it’s all been quite positive. The practice has grown. Perhaps the expectation of some is for the small country doctor …

  35. Was a regular patient but refuse to go here again. Very unprofessional nurses. One particular occasion the nurse was very rude and told me she didn’t have time to deal with me because she was too busy. They gave me incorrect lab results via …

  36. Friendly staff, appointments are a must. As most doctors offices, they seem to overbook their time slots for appointments. I have been a patient with Dr. Culpeper since she first arrived at the practice and have been very satisfied ( almost 20 years).

  37. Wow! I can see why the review rating is as low as it is. Upon trying to make an appointment as a new patient, I made a call to this office for the sole reason that my insurance assigned me to one of the physicians here (not to mention that …

  38. Staff incompetence is unbelievable: follow through is absent, mistakes rampant, and no regard for patient time. Why does a lab visit take 45 min? Why do Rxs go to the wrong pharmacy? Why are wrong doses of long-standing meds called in …

  39. I have been with this practice for many years. I am upset that one nurse out of all of them can be so rude. When I called to speak to the office manager, to get a RX corrected that the nurse did not handle correctly, I was told “If I …

  40. I was a patient at this practice for 3 years. In that time I saw a marked decrease in the quality of service. As a matter of fact only 1 visit was with a doctor, the rest were Nurse Practitioners. The service was impersonal at best and downright rude from the office staff.

  41. New policies will force me to find another provider. Came for a prescription refill. No one told me to fast. No big deal right? Last time this happened, them requiring blood tests I had no prior knowledge to, I was able to come in the next …

  42. If I could give no stars I would. I have never had a bad experience when I had Dr. Griffith. Since he left I had to find a new doctor and she has been so rude and seems to not even care about anything I had to say. I had to call over 15 …

  43. Several months ago we were told that my husband was no longer permitted to be a patient at their practice. The reason, too many cancelations. The hospital diagnosed my husband with severely low phosphorous levels, which took about 3 days …

  44. My 5 stars are for Dr. Gardiner and his nurse Stephanie. Dr.Gardiner has changed my life for the better. I have spent the past 10 years and about 5 doctors being told, “Your Labs are normal” and my symptoms being dismissed. I knew my labs …

  45. I was very pleased today with my first visit!! Dr. Gardiner and his staff were very professional. Dr. Gardiner spent a lot of time with me and was very easy to talk to and made me feel so comfortable. The lab technician was very gentle . …

  46. I’ve been a member here for over 10 years. No more. Under the Affordable Care Act we are entitled to an annual wellness check. The front office billed it wrong and refuses to cooperate in resubmitting a correction. I found that my …

  47. This place is the absolute worst. True Statement. Like so many other reviews state, they do not run on time. I went a few weeks back for just some follow up blood work. What was supposed to be an in and out appointment (per the Mary) it …

  48. We had worst experience with these people, Myself and my wife went for yearly free check up and they do nothing but loot money from patients. We just had lab work done but we are charged around $400 extra other than lab bill saying its a …

  49. Clearly I should have read the bad reviews here first.
I made an appointment for an annual physical. In order to get in a little faster I accepted an appointment with a nurse practitioner. I arrived at my …

  50. Very poorly managed facility. I put up with it for several years because I liked the doctor I had but he has since moved out of state. The support staff and nurses treat you like a number. The final straw was misquoting cost of services …

  51. Awful. I went there for years and was unhappy so I left. My kind and consistent husband stayed with this practice and has been sick for weeks. It’s not Covid but they just don’t seem to care. Treatment is minimal and subpar at best. If you love someone don’t send them here. BTW… first negative one star review I have ever given.

  52. Please don’t go here. I wish i didn’t have to select even 1 star. Most upsetting to me is that I always felt like a number rather than a human being. The entire staff consistently exhibited a very low level of empathy during my time as a …

  53. The worst! Dr. Lisa was great, but had to change doctors due to the front desk. I called in one day for a sick visit. Told the front desk that i don’t mind waiting but wanted to be seen because i have been sick for a few days. The front …

  54. Don’t go to this practice if you are looking for decent medical care – was scheduled for a 9:20 appointment with Dr.Ellis and reached at 9:22 – was told the doctor won’t see me since I am late. I explained that I had to wait for a nanny to …

  55. We have been patients here for 7 years. We will not be any longer. I am not sure why the practice has declined so severely but it has. Our pharmacy contacted them on a Tuesday for a refill. My husbands medicine ran out on Wednesday. No …

  56. Clinic has implemented ridiculous new policies to charge more for the same substandard levels of service. Now I can’t come in for an annual checkup and get prescription refills at the same time must have two different appointments. Also …

  57. I was very shocked to read all these horrible reviews. My experience is quite the opposite! My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Gardiner for 8 years now, and I have absolutely no complaints! He and his nurse Stephanie have always been …

  58. I’ve been a patient here for over 15 years and never see my primary doctor. I was in the office yesterday expressing some medical and physical concerns and was brushed off with an unnecessary prescription and was told to come back in 6 …

  59. I originally went to this practice following a family physician we had for years. Once this physician left, I was passed off from physician to physician that I never fully trusted. When I had a health concern one day, I came to see a doctor …

  60. This practice will double bill you for annual physicals if you bring up anything for even two minutes. Be aware. I have been talked down to like a child in this office and my last two visits seemed cold and rushed. I used to go here for my …

  61. I love everyone at this office! They are wonderful and caring. The nursing staff is terrific!
The medicine refill department is AMAZING! Ronda and Mandy are the most amazing …

  62. I have been going to this Doctors office for the last 5 years or so and have to go every three months for my prescription. Same prescription, every 3 months. It’s a controlled substance so I get that, but $175 for an office visit every 3 …

  63. To start off on a positive note, the nurse practitioners and doctors here are great. They listen to everything you have to say and have a genuine interest in helping their patients. …

  64. My biggest complaint is the very, very few times I’ve been sick and wanted to get in to see my dr, she only has appointments 4 days out. Well, if I’m sick I need to be seen sooner than 4 days. …

  65. Never had too terrible of a wait time here. Honestly, never been to a doctors office that didn’t have some sort of wait. I see Dr. Ellis and he is always pleasant and listens to any concerns I may have. I have also seen one of the nurse practitioners who was amazing.

  66. I have been a patient of her practice for awhile. Prior to this visit I was not concerned about the price they charge for service until my recent insurance change which now requires me to pay out of pocket until i meet a deductible. I went …

  67. Im angry with myself that haven’t left sooner. I’ve been attending this office for years purely out of convince. The patient care at this facility in almost non existent aside from a couple medical assistants and one front desk worker. I …

  68. I was a patient here for 17 years and over the years their service has drastically declined. Initially, the doctors cared and were easy to work with; however, over time they got too big and each patient is now just a number with a 10-15 …

  69. It’s been a while since I’ve been to the doctor so I was very surprised when I saw the Google reviews. I just left my annual physical and it was a good experience from beginning to end. From the check-in staff, to the technicians, to the …

  70. I have been going to NCFP since 2001. I love Dr. Gardiner and his lovely assistant Stephanie. They are wonderful and give TOP notch care. I have and will continue to recommend them to my new clients. I have heard from other friends and …

  72. I’m glad to have an opportunity to share my experience with Chattahoochee Family Physicians. We received absolutely the most caring and timely response from Leslie, a NP at the facility. I left a message at Dr. McGinn’s nurse station and …

  73. I have been a patient at this practice for about 11 years and have seen several of the doctors and many of the nurse practitioners over that time. When I see the reviews on this site, it saddens me because they don’t reflect my experience …

  74. Hanna Park, FNP-C and her assistant were phenomenal! Great interpersonal skills. Explained everything in layman’s terms. Very personable. They both get 5 stars. …

  75. Weird, but the office waiting room does NOT have a single arm chair. Elderly folks need an arm rest to stabilize and help lift them from a chair.
Never see a Doctor, always a PA. The latest PA I saw was rude and short with …

  76. Well, I haven’t been to see a doctor in a while and decided to try this place as it was recommended by a friend… so I made an appointment and filled out all my new patient forms. Then, the MORNING OF THE APPOINTMENT, at 6 am, they call me …

  77. I don’t usually post bad reviews but my experience here so far has not been good. I called to schedule an appointment and the booking system was not working, fine no problem. They told me to call back. I did, apparently it was a nation wide …

  78. Terrible patient service. This clinic needs to to be visited by the regulating body for the state of Georgia. Before they really damage someone! I came in for blood work and ended up

  79. Been coming here for years, but no more. Seems others feel the same way as they are now down to just 2 doctors. I’ve always thought the medical staff was good, but the front office is like a sorority . . . a really bad one. Even the …

  81. When I started coming to this facility many years ago, I loved my doctor (Dr Culpepper). Over the years, it has turned into an office that isn’t personable and all about money. They always want you to schedule an appointment to come into …

  82. Should be 0 stars. I scheduled a physical and their front office team didn’t do their due diligence with my new insurance and by the time they figured it out, they said it was past my appt time and I had to come back. Next appt I came back, …

  83. Messaged on Christmas eve morning to let them know I tested positive for covid. No response for 3 days. Then was told they could give me an appointment in 3 more days. It seems they don’t understand how covid works or don’t care. Left a message for the nurse and no reply after waiting all day. I’ll be finding a new Dr.

  84. I came back to this practice last year after moving back into the area. Dr. Culpepper and her team, as well as other members of the staff are fantastic. They really listen and help me get where I need to be. I have recommended them to my friends in the past and will continue to do so in the future.

  85. Read the reviews. See the trend. Another 20 year patient leaving. Office staff is beyond awful. When Dr. Gardiner left, I gave them a shot. Dr. Bramwell is inexperienced, but a nice guy. Just gotten too difficult with refills, the rude …

  86. This is my final and last draw with this office. I arrived at 11:12 for my 11:00am appointment and they refused to see me. There was an accident on hwy 20 that caused me to slightly late. Mind you, when I’m on time, I often sit in the …
