Piedmont Healthcare (GA) Reviews ( 60 )

  1. They really have trained all their staff well. Everyone from the clerk , the nurses, the doctors and even the transport orderly explained everything they were doing in a timely and efficient manner. It made me feel less nervous and i felt they care about their patients

  2. My daughter was admitted to welcome her new healthy baby girl. The labor and delivery nurses were exceptionally knowledgeable and professional and most with 1 year of nursing experience. The postpartum care was equally exceptional and …

  3. Billing Issue!!! We received a bill 10 months after surgery there – and it was way over our co-pay by $3,000! We have been trying to get an explanation and resubmit to our insurance for months with no help. On hold forever and when they answer, they hang up.

  4. My daughter a college student was having difficulty breathing but in 3 hours all that was done for her were a blood pressure reading and a temperature check. Not even a Covid or flu test! I drove 2.5 hours to get to her. My simple question …

  7. I don’t usually prefer this hospital because I had surgery here a couple of years ago and they didn’t have medication. They were getting tablets from other sources. Today I didn’t go to the main hospital but a specialist. Dr. Mark Sims and his assistant Desi were awesome, explained everything in detail and were very patient.

  8. Horrible follow up care on a liver patient. My sister has been in and out of this hospital for post op liver resection and the care on the floors is non existent. Pushing the help button is pointless.no one follows through with what they say they are going to do. Just unacceptable care.

  9. Very bad hospital for any heart patient no conscience of what they doing with people’s with heart disease, keep them to long without any concern for their well being. Foods was not any good for a person the have heart surgery

  10. Came to the ER because I had a severe toothache. It’s crazy to me how they sit here and make you wait for hours in excruciating pain. It’s going on 3:45 in the morning and I still have not been seen. This should not be called an emergency room.

  11. This the worst hospital ever I been here since 2am the lobby is not full there at least 10people inn here and I’m still here after 630am waiting for my name to be called. I have seen hospitals packer then this and moved faster then this. I will not be coming back to this facility again.

  14. Emergency room properly diagnosed rare cancer, provided world class surgeon, did correct mutation analysis which only 30% of hospitals do, but is imperative for my very rare cancer. I had been misdiagnosed twice (Northside +GI Dr.) before I got to Piedmont.

  15. A Nurse in the ER was very unprofessional. When I tried to speak to her she said ” I am busy “and walked away. On a another occasion , a nurse left toiletries on the chair for my 89 year old mom with dementia to wash herself.

  24. This hospital is horrible. They do not allow their nurses to have sick leave, and there are several sick nurses taking care of at risk patients who could be at risk, they feel as if they will lose their job if they take off. This system is inhumane, and horrible, and only cares about money, not people.

I was hospitalized for 10 days in the Covid unit, and I don’t have one complaint, only gratitude for doctors, nurses, help aide’s, SW, Therapists, Xray staff, laboratory staff, the chaplain, house keepers, pantry ladies. Your faces are in my heart forever. Thank you so much!

  45. Very narrow scope of review but it is my experience today in the waiting room for Endoscopy. No music, no tv, no magazines, no educational brochures in the rack, no windows, no artwork, no color, no sense of direction or access to outside world. I have to sit here for 3 hours. It is a claustrophobic’s nightmare.
