In 1955, Dr. Harry Crewson, then professor of economics and later president of Ohio University, strongly believed that Ohio University employees needed a place where they could borrow and save at reasonable rates. What began as one employee working just one or two hours a day has now grown to over 100 employees in facilities open five days a week with 24-hour a day, 7 days a week access through twelve ATM machines and account access online and by phone. Our core purpose is still to promote our members’ financial well-being and quality of life.

The website is the worst ever. Even after working with OUCU for 5 years still it is impossible to use any of the online services. The mobile app is useless. The OUCU do not have a mobile app for the credit card! which encourages one to spend more.

I find it absurd that they keep giving people overdraft fees when the money comes out of your account regardless of the timing. Even if you have money in the bank later that same business day you still get a $30 overdraft fee. I haven’t encountered this at any other bank I’ve banked with before.
