This place is beyond unprofessional. Nurses yelling at patients, at each other. Patients having verbal fights, and the nurses not intervening, even when it …
This hospital is horrible. I stayed in the psych ward for almost four days. It is more like a prison than a hospital. I was essentially charged more than $2000 a day to stay in a small room all day. The only things we did all day was two …
Therapists are amazing! I have learned and gained so much from this facility- I’m in IOP and it has saved my life. I would definitely recommend it to anyone suffering from any kind of mental disorder.
Just came out of the mental health unit. Salt Lake Behavioral Health has been a blessing in my life. I was able to get a diagnosis, and I received exceptional treatment. I have left with many tools, along with the right medication, to help …
These doctors are the best in the city. I love them. They cured my mental illness with the power of yoga and good books and breathing exercises. Support animals came in once a week and some talented people would sing and dance. …
I was 12 years old. I was brought here after my first over dose.. I didn’t feel supported at all. That was over 3 or 4 years ago. U guys made me feel terrible. The nurse made fun of the kids behind the desk and so did the techs. I did not …
This is not the best place, 3 stars is right. My husband stays there. We live so far, they would not accept mail but must bring in person, no flexible service. The nurses there some are nice, some are okay. They are confusing themselves …
This was the best life saving experience I’ve ever had. It was a divine intervention and the entire staff was amazing. SLBH literally save my life. Today I’m a new man because they taught me how live life on life terms clean and sober. If you are reading this, then give yourself a chance. SLBH IS THE PLACE….
I self admitted to prevent self harm. If you are like me and are reading these Google Reviews on the way over in an Ambulance or if you have a loved one who is being admitted and you are reading Reviews please rest assured the facilities …
I spent five days at SLBH because of a need to get out of my surroundings and emotionally stabilize in a peaceful place. My stay there helped me so much. The nurses and the techs truly care about the patients and their wellbeing. The techs …
Their intensive outpatient (iop) program really helped me through a dark spot. My therapist was amazing and I felt like the treatment was beneficial and worth my time.
I had the greatest awakening during my 30 day in-patient treatment at Courage to Change to address my addiction and a life changing experience during my 30 day in-patient treatment at Strong Hope for my trauma. …
Possibly one of the worst inpatient facilities in Utah. The doctors and psychiatrist were very unprofessional. The staff were harassing and neglectful. The ambiance was cold and void of any kind of comfort. I left worst then when I got admitted.
I will always be grateful for SLBH. I’ve been truly helped and feel cared about. I was inpatient for several days and it was a safe place, what i needed. The outpatient program is so good, it really provides a resource to work/learn and heal. Thank you so much!
This place saved my life & helped me beyond belief!!
The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the rules would change depending on who was working at the time. Definitely nothing major at all just a little bit …
Thank you Bobby, Corina, and Todd for taking care of me while my stay at SLBH, you helped a great deal in my recovery, I would not have been as successful as I am after my discharge if it wasn’t for you. My heart goes out to you!! …
Strong hope is an exceptional program that truly changed my life. I would recommend them to anyone trying to get help. The therapist are amazing people that truly care about you and don’t focus on time but they focus on the your problems. …
For $1500, My son was checked in on Monday evening.. and then they released him Wed afternoon! No way he was detoxed that quickly. They didn’t provide any counseling either. Don’t know who made the determination he was good to go….he was clearly not. Sorry, appears to me that SLBH is just in it for the $$.
Not only was this place a waste of time for our daughters 11 day stay. They do nothing but house these kids and throw a couple therapy sessions at them. But the kids are like at a big fun sleepover environment there. …
This hospital saved my life. I had two amazing nurses names Todd and Wendy who showed they truly cared about my well being and health while I was in patient. Not one staff member made me feel like I wasn’t cared for. I have also had a great …
I never agreed to be here. I was held here against will for 5 days. This place is horribly overpriced and some of the nurses are impatient and abusive. Erica the nurse is impatient, uptight, demanding and abusive. My honest opinion, she …

i did inpatient and outpatient services here and it was traumatizing. you would not think that could happen when you go to a place to relieve and get help for past trauma. all i left with was more trauma from the terrible experience i had …
Salt Lake Behavioral Health saved my life in my time of need. I made friends there but also the nursing staff were awesome. Dayla and Natalie made a really good impression on me and were the best nurses there. Heidi was an awesome therapist …
I can without a doubt say that I would not be here today without the Strong Hope Program through SLBH. I wish more service members and veterans knew about this program. My therapist (abbreviations A.M.) truly had the greatest impact on my …
