Called to speak to my girlfriend so she can talk to our child before bed and the worker that answered the phone was rude and nonchalant very disturbing if you treat me that way over the phone how do you treat the patients in person WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
Horrible experience with checking my son in. We live an hour and a half away and were told to be here by 5. Got all the way here only to be called and told we can’t be seen til 7. I am not supposed to drive at night and am supposed to be on oxygen by now. It’s now 8 and we are so waiting!š ā¦
Staff treats you as if youāre less than human. To make things worse I had a violent seizure because they gave me incorrect medicine and didnāt taper please if youāre seeking recovery thereās other options
This place was very helpful to me everybody got there on opinion. I appreciate them helping me to get off drugs. Some of them reviews I read was down let me tell u this u got to help urself before anything and God answer all prayer š ā¦
I would be careful about some of the doctors here, I think they look at you as a dollar sign (Doctor Hill) I would never recommend this place. Nurses was nice tho.

I called twice to talk to my friend and both times the reseptionist hung up on me. If I can give this place 0 stars i would. 03/13/2018 at 803 pm and 821 pm. That’s when I called and they hung up.
I was admitted to the CER. The staff and nurses were all very helpful. I need a special diet and everyone was very helpful with that. It’s an effective place to get some help.
Poor quality staff. This facility lacks communication and staff appears to be entitled as if they look down on people like they are better than everyone. Go somewhere else because if they treat the citizens like this I cant imagine what goes on upstairs.
I have been calling since 5pm over three hours trying to talk to my love one and to make sure they are ok. No answer. It’s bad enough to have a family member there, but then the staff not answering to phone is disappointing.
One star, because I canāt give a zero, Stay away, the staff rude and un caring and to busy looking at there personal phones to help anyone. docs over drug the mentally ill, to get them out of there care and back on the streets as soon as possible, butās thatās seems to be the normal at all these places.
My handler can’t ever seem to get ahold of his wife because of groups & or the phones are not working properly my handler has a enough evidence that he can go after the hospital for medical malpractice for a MEDICATION ERROR DUE TO WIFE IN ā¦

Place has helped me many times. By far the best facility of its kind in Hampton Roads.
Dr. Stephen Cunningham gave me Risperidal knowing this was all a police setup. I was implanted with a biochip without my knowledge and consent. I was flat-lined repeatedly at this hospital for over six hours the first night. The 2 CSB’s ā¦
All in all everything was good . Was not a comfortable detox like i thought it might BE. I was coming off heroin and suboxone was all i could get for withdrawal. It sucked but I’m clean and it finally worked out. Thank YOU 1st floor.
Criminal negligence. The only goal of this SENTARA facility is profit, and they are willing to support drug cartels (pharma) by claiming there is a need to use chemical constraints (i.e. sedation drugs). Now with long lasting injectibles, ā¦
A complete waste of time. A hearing was held for my daughter who threstened suicide by drugs, hanging herself, shooting herself and totaling four vehicles in four years. The outcome being to retain her for further observation. Not even an hour later she was released.
Went up here to admit my girlfriend for reasons. And the receptionist at the window was very rude to her. He talked to her like she was stupid or something and Iām currently listening and watching him talk with a current patient being admitted and is cutting him off and barely letting him speak
I agree with the dude who said the therapist is a low life trash talking bully, just like everyone else said, this place makes you go crazy so they can keep you in there as long as possible and milk your money. Its just an evil business, ā¦
I admitted myself at this location and it was as expected. The center is short staffed how ever my expereince there was a good one and would go back if I had to. Hannah is the best and Dr. Germano although he is flooded with patients did a good job aswell.
I don’t know where to start. Worst moments of my life involve this place. The third floor being terrible is a LIE. It’s like paradise compared to CER. Actually the third floor is kind of a well kept secret. CER is garbage. I do not mean the ā¦

No help at all. Their website clearly states that they have free 24/7 assessment and referral services for mental health . Upon calling for more information, I was told that they only work with the ER. Even though the website says no ā¦
This place should not remain open. They have unprofessional, rude, inconsiderate,and under-trained personnel. They do not address your issue personally. They just give you, your medication and keep in going. The groups are really ā¦
I absolutely loved this place I mean they constantly heck on you an give you meds to make you comfortable an Mrs Lisa she is a doll I absolutely love her I want to come back but coming from 4 hours that bed might have been there but by time I get there the bed is gone I really need to get a bed asap

This place is a life saver! It’s not perfect, nowhere is. The food is better than any other psych center I’ve been in. Tito is awesome! I still do my feelings check every morning and evening.

Dr Hill should not be gossiping about patients getting an assessment with the front desk receptionist (who is always.rude ), but very poor behavior for an MD. Could hear them while getting an assessment. Will.never set foot in this place again.

If you are worried for those you love with mental illness, this is not a place for recovery. The best thing you can do is write not only your congressman but the various departments of Human Services and especially at the government level. ā¦
I was in there from September 5 till November. It’s really an amazing place to be. The staff there are friendly and nice. I had some pretty cool nurses. Nurse Myrna, nurse rhondeen, nurse Agatha, etc. Would definitely recommend this to anyone with Psych problems

Dr.Gene Germano is one of the Psychiatrists there that we have had a terrible experience with. Horrible bedside manner and has no concern for his patients. He was not concerned when serious meds needed prior authorizations. 2 days without ā¦

My mother checked herself in here and they took almost 24 hours to even receive her regular medications. Was not seen by a psychiatrist until the next day. I’m currently waiting in the lobby to leave her clothes and haven’t even been greeted.

When I admitted myself I was told it’d be a 48 hour watch. Once I got in there I found out that I’d have to be in there a minimum of 5 days. And if I tried to leave against medical recommendation they’d have the court force me to stay. Dr. ā¦

I am very disappointed in this place. My son was released from jail to go straight here for help. I received over 10 calls a day from him regarding rude nurses that sit around laugh & talk about patients & they have no sympathy for them & ā¦

I honestly cannot speak for anyone else’s stay, however my stay was excellent! When I first arrived at the facility the wait to be processed and admitted was about four hours. Every one of the staffs and nurses were very respectful and ā¦
Saved my life when I was struggling with a period of Derealization. Staff is more than supportive and don’t treat you like an animal. I recommend for anyone seeking help.
