  1. Cannot trust them. Very very shady practice, they’ll send you through a barrage of unnecessary tests, then never get back to you. The first you will hear from them will be an outrageous bill. Very unhappy.

  4. Have not once had a single visit here where I felt satisfied with care. Horrible. So I started asking around, and no one had a single good thing to say about the Watertown ER. Everyone I know now goes to Brookings or Sioux Falls for care.

  5. Hands down the worst hospital I have ever been to, out of 4 states, california, oklahoma, oregon, wyoming, and here, I fought wildfires for 5 years, and I 100% got better treatment in the back of a pickup 15 miles in the woods with a basic …

  6. By far the worst ER in the state if you don’t have insurance or a pocket full of money minds well not waste your time and look elsewhere! Every time I’ve been in there they’d do Just enough to where I could make it to see my primary Dr and push me off on them.

  10. From out of state. Had an emergency. Emergency room staff, Dr Adducci and the 3rd floor staff were the best! Nurse Andrew and Nurse Jill on the 3rd floor were excellent! I appreciate everything they did to make me comfortable! Thank you all!

  11. Went to the ER with severe abdominal pain, they did exray and CT scan. Said you’re full of poop. Gave me pain meds and sent me home. Back in the ER 8hrs later, still in severe pain. Again they gave pain meds and sent home. 6hrs later …

  12. You do not want to go to this emergency room! If at all possible go to Brookings instead. The nurses are okay, the doctors were last pick of the draft! There is only one good emergency room doctor so it’s Russian Roulette. Good luck!

  13. ER is AWFUL!! They were REALLY slow and we were the only ones there. I haven’t been there in years because the care was always bad. I went in recently and it was awful. I am done going there. I know why people say you will die there. They …

  15. My elderly mother has been in and out of the hospital several times over the past few years, most times admitted through ER. I can’t say enough about the hospital staff. They are kind, competent and willing to help in any way. I am …

  16. Went here hoping for appropriate/empathetic care as I am a college student away from home. Staff seemed to not care that I wasn’t feeling well and proceeded to do their paperwork on the computer instead of tending to me. Staff also told me …

  17. I grew up in a ER because of my parents and I do not think I have ever witnessed a staff more unprofessional. when I call to question my care they did an “investigation” and found that their care “was appropriate” what they ER doctor told …

  18. I have found myself a patient at both radiology department, lab dept, er, and clinics by PLHS. I am always treated well, with my concerns met and my medical needs addressed.

  19. Did not document symptoms correctly, did not seem to care to help. Seemed eager to get rid of me (especially receptionist.) Nurses gave misinformation. Would give 0/5. Do not recommend. Felt short of breath and had chest pain, all they …
