It was a pleasure to work with April, she explained everything fully and seemed like she cared about getting me started and up to speed with my devices.
I fired them. Just go directly with manufacturers and cut out the middle men. Always some issue – system’s down, they don’t call back, I pay for overnight in an emergency order and they forget to mark it for Saturday delivery so I won’t get it until Monday. Just basement level initiative and service. I’m done.
They have you pay your deductible. Which is normal. Then they fail to bill your insurance and you have to pay it again. Then no one returns calls or even acknowledges the problem and offers to help. Kind of seedy, creepy.

We’ve been trying to get new Dexcom sensors SINCE JULY. We were told IN JULY that the G6 & new sensors would ship AUG 10. Yet, none were shipped. Now our insurance year has started over, our diabetic child is COMPLETELY OUT of sensors, and to get a new box will cost us more than $350!

It can be frustrating to deal with medical suppliers. I switched over to Pumps It from another supplier and I am having a much better experience. They are friendly and ship quickly.
For several years I was able to use Pumps It because I had BCBS insurance, and the entire experience was always amazing. Their staff is friendly and very *competent*, and the deliveries were always quick. (They don’t accept United Health Care, which I had to switch to, so I can no longer use them, but I do miss them.)
I have been using PumpsIt to order Dexcom Supplies for over 2yrs. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and go the extra mile to check on my insurance deductible and co-pays. Jackie (in the orders/customer srv dept) in particular has been very helpful to ensure I am taking full advantage of my insurance benefits.
