  1. Not allowed inside without a mask — workers will come outside if you don’t have a mask — this place is a heating oil delivery service and furnace repair/ maintenance service businesses

  2. They advertise that they do Mitsubishi, but they don’t anymore. Not very nice on the phone. I asked if they would please favor me with a local company who does, and they said no.

  6. Call to ask for service n estimate on furnance and lady on phone told me cant do till december? Really didnt even bother asking me which town n where i was calling straight told me cant do till december 🙁 . Thanks but i am not orderin anymore heating oil from you guys.   7. my service call for routine maintenance was right on time, through and professional, the technician reviewed the condition of the furnace with me and explained the parts needed. Very good experience.

  17. Our heat went out at 5:00am and I called Skylands and they answered the phone and had me on the schedule for that day! To my surprise the service tech was at the front door at 7:00 am and everything was fixed and had heat by 7:30 am at a reasonable cost!!! Highly recommend them!!!!!!

  19. We have the service contract on our oil burner and heating system. Highly recommend getting it saves you alot of money. Everything gets cleaned for up coming winter and service calls and parts are covered.

  20. He spent two hours thoroughly cleaning our oil burner and chimney. It was filthy. I believe it had not been cleaned this well in years. My old oil company’s employee would be in and out in fifteen minutes. It seems Mr. Moon is a lot more conscientious. Thank you!!!

  24. I paid for yearly cleaning and when I called to make an appointment, they said they were too busy and it couldn’t be done until next year. What’s this about? You pay for a yearly cleaning and they can’t deliver. Not good

  26. I had my heater and water heater serviced by Skylands recently. Honestly, I am not qualified to comment on the quality of the preventive service. However, the technician was prompt, seemed knowledgeable, neat and friendly.

  33. Today Mr Steve Moon conducted my annual A/C maintenance. Mr Moon is professional and well informed. He has maintained my A/C and furnane for at least 4 years. I always schedule to have him conduct my maintenance. My experience working with him has been pleasant and he feel he is honest.

  34. On 5/22/2020 I lost hot water and heat, due to a defective part. The technician was great. He was able to replace the defective part with a similar part. Service was prompt and quick. Highly recommend Skylands and this technician.

  35. Steve Moon was courteous, efficient, and helpful. After he finished the maintenance, he told me that the furnace filter should be replaced. When I said that I had one, he went into basement again and replaced it. I appreciated the extra effort. He took proper Covid-19 precautions by wearing a mask.

  45. Skylands technician Larry Reynolds did a good checkup on my heating system and when he was done informed me of what he learned about my system’s condition. In addition he answered any questions I had. Letting me know that all is good for winter does allow me peace of mind knowing that it is good to go for the winter.

  47. Deliveries (automatic) always on time-never experienced a run out of fuel. Annual maintenance is thorough resulting in reliable performance during heating season (or whenever needed). A very skilled Skylands crew replaced my old system in 2007 and has performed flawlessly since.
