Savannah Neurology Specialists Reviews ( 142 )

  1. I tell you!! It has been some time since I have received the attention and aid from a physician office as I have at this one. Billie alone will make you fall in love with this office but all in all I am very pleased with the level of care I have received thus far during my care. Thank you Savannah Neurology

  2. My MRI tech Billie James was absolutely amazing from my 2/8/23 visit. She was pleasant and talkative and kept my mind at ease the whole time, even though this was my 1st ride in the tube! You can really tell she has a love for what she does and the patients she works with. I told her I hope I have her every-time.

  3. I have never had a bad experience! Great staff, always pleasant and very helpful, I see Amanda Merritt. She is easy to talk to, helps you understand, and takes as much time with you as you need. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks for all you do for me.

  4. Absolutely awful. Trying to get appointments is ridiculous not to mention they don’t even follow protocol on follow up care. Scary. Taking our child to another neurologist.

  5. Very nice staff but I haven’t found out anything on my test results. I went in to get my results and they didn’t have them. They said they would call still haven’t heard anything

  6. Very disappointed in the follow-up with NP. Felt NP was not on the same page with doctor’s recommendation. Felt NP was deficit in knowledge of Alzheimer’s thus ineffective. Walked away from the office with a sense of hopelessness.

  7. NP widener and DR carter are wonderful they explain everything and try to find other ways to solve the problems you have, but if you see any other DR or NP it is horrible i waited 40 min to see someone and was only in the office for 5 min …

  8. My daughter was just seen in the EEG dept. I was extremely satisfied with not only the quickness in which they got my daughter in, but also the knowledge and help of Suzi. She was able to answer all of my questions. Thank you Suzi!

  9. Some staff can be really rude, especially my sons nurse. If this weren’t the only pediatric neurology closest to me, I’d go else where. They are not friendly at all! No one communicates with one another and things get tossed around. So unprofessional and idiotic!

  10. Made an appointment in March 2018 and had to wait 3 months (June 2018). 1 week before my appointment I was informed it was cancelled and had to be rescheduled for SEPTEMBER 2018! I’ve already waited 3 months, now I have to wait 3 more! Ridiculous!

  11. I cannot speak to the quality of the doctors. All I can speak to is how rude the staff is that answers the phone. They are the only child neurologist in Savannah which is what gives them the liberty to treat patients that way. We’re headed to Brunswick to deal with someone else

  12. Very dissapointed in my Doctor.. her lack of concern of the extent of neuropathy in my right hand and my ability to perform my. Job safely and efficiently is really upsetting. I tried to explain that im not able to use the tools properly to …

  13. Went in for EMG and Regina made sure I was comfortable going into the test. Dr. MacGregor was clear on explaining what was to be done prior to and throughout the test. He also took the time to make sure I understood the results.

  14. I have been seeing Dr. Carter for a few years now and I love her. She and her PA’s and nurses are amazing! I couldn’t imagine seeing anyone else for my migraines and fibromyalgia.

  15. Hillary Gould, the Front Desk Receptionist, has been nothing short of superior! Every phone call and every visit; no matter the difficulty of the task; she has handled then completely professionalism. A true “GEM” at Savannah Neurology Specialists.

  16. I’ve been going to this office for over three years. They are the absolute worst at getting back to you when you try to contact them. When I told them I went to the Mayo clinic and was diagnosed with a brain tumor they cancelled my next …

  17. Hillary Gould, Receptionist and Stephanie Temples, ROI Specialist, are always a delight! Their dedication to patient care, no matter how big or small the situation may be; is second to none! With Mrs./Ms. Gould and Temples; along with …

  18. I always feel well cared for at Savannah Neurology Specialists. As I live in Florida, it would be much simpler for me to find a neurologist there to administer my botox shots for migraine than to drive to Savannah every six weeks for …

  19. Have been trying to set an appointment since February! The doctor has called in the referral twice. They finally called, missed the call, called back, no return call. I’m done. I’ll find a neurologist who actually cares about their potential patients!

  20. At our initial appointment Dr. Moretz stated she couldn’t even read my son’s MRI report because it was so fuzzy and didn’t bother requesting a new one or asking me to bring our copy. Standard follow up for his diagnosis is to get a spinal …

  21. I have been with this office for 17-years and even though the office staff may have changed; the commitment and A-1 service has not. From the beginning to the end, I am very please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dr. Hemphill is the BEST!!!!!!!!!!

  22. The wait is worth it. Amazing staff! Deb (EMG Tech) you are a rare jewel. Dr. Carter you rock. Thank you both for your level of care and sensitivity to my health. I’m humbled by those in your practice and field. Keep up the great work. Blessings

  23. Dr. Donahue and his staff were wonderful. I had a couple issues I was having trouble dealing with, headaches and sleeping. After explaining the symptoms I was having I was recommended to take one medication that would help with both. I …

  24. Dr. Donahue and his nursing staff are the worst. This tops the worst experience I’ve ever had with a doctor. I have lupus and was referred to a him because I was spinning/falling down/unable to communicate the movements I wanted my body to …

  25. I gave them 4 stars because they are good but they will cancel your appointment if you are 15 minutes late and not care about the fact that you have traveled over an hour to make it. They need to be a little more compassionate with their clients.

  26. I was extremely disappointed with my experience with this office. Despite my requests to see my actual doctor, my appointments were always scheduled with a nurse practitioner. She did not listen to me. I was told by the nurse practitioner …

  27. Told to come in 30 minutes early to do paperwork. Arrived at 2pm for a 2:30 appointment and left at 4:15 without seeing the doctor. I was asked if I wanted to reschedule my appointment. Really!! So I can waste another afternoon sitting …

  28. We took our adopted 5-year old here because her pediatrician recommended a visit. The doctor was not helpful and did not have a good bedside manner with such a young child. He also had not read our case history that was provided to him by our therapist and pediatrician. He was done with us in 10 minutes.

  29. Go somewhere else. Waited 3 months to be seen just for them to call the week prior to cancel and push my appointment back another 3 months. This is all with referral from my PCP. YOU COULD BE DEAD BEFORE YOU CAN GET AN APPOINTMENT!

  30. After multiple neck surgeries, I was still experiencing ‘extreme’ neck pain and migraines. Dr. Carter suggested Botox injections. What a difference! The injections have been such a relief and I’m forever grateful to her. She and her staff are very caring, willing to listen and they feel like ‘family’.

  31. My Doctor is awesome! His staff is horrible, they don’t return calls (although I leave a message before 3pm and should get a call per their voicemail), are rude and condescending. The MA’s are not quilifed to take vital signs ( I’m sure …

  32. Do Not Go Here! We are new to the area and were referred to see Dr Greenberg. We could not get an appointment with him for 3 months, and my son’s condition could not wait for that amount of time, so we saw Dr Donahue instead. Dr Donahue …

  33. Dr. Mcgregor is awesome. Had a wonderful experience with him. Very helpful with treating my condition. However the office staff and whoever answers the phone are absolutely horrible. They have attitudes like the patients are bothering them. …

  34. Holy cow, Kelly was so helpful and proactive in solving our problem, I can’t thank you guys enough for all the help. I called all over town, went to an urgent care center, and was getting no where until I spoke with Kelly at Neurology …

  35. After waiting for a long time to see the VA doctor, we decided to reach out to Savannah Neurology to schedule an appt for our dad. They got him in relatively quickly. He was seen by Dr. Hemphill and had an MRI, EMG, diagnoses and …

  36. Coming an hour away for an appointment that was rescheduled by this office twice at the last minute. Five minutes outside my late appointment window and was told by the manager I would not be seen. I was flexible for those last minute reschedules and you couldn’t give me a measly 5 minutes. Thanks

  37. I recently visited SNS for help with a head injury. Dr. Greenberg really knows his stuff and was very informative. I see why he is a leader in his field.
Upon my second visit, I was given an EKG exam by Dawn. I found her very friendly …

  38. I started seeing Dr. MacGregor for migraines. Him and his staff are friendly and very compassionate. The office staff is always welcoming and available to answer any of my questions. I, also, enjoy using their online patient portal to send messages to the staff and pay my balances. All in all, great experiences!

  39. I wanted to give kudos to the front desk crew at Savannah Neurology. They are always so kind and attentive to everyone who enters the front door. They greet everyone with a smiling face and seem to truly enjoy each interaction with whomever they encounter. Great job as well to who assembled this joyous group as well!

  40. Dr. Hemphill and NP Widener are both fantastic practitioners. Dr. Hemphill was recommended to me by a nationally renowned expert and I found him to be extremely knowledgeable. Ms. Widener was caring, compassionate, and thorough. …

  41. I have been misdiagnosed and my dr retired no one even let me know anything, then I was put with Alison and she told me she can’t even read the brain scans! I took the CT Scans to their office 2 weeks ago they still haven’t found a Dr that …

  42. Today was my daughters first appointment and we were treated so well. From the front office staff to the clinical staff. We were seen, treated and done within an hour of checking in for her appointment. The dr we saw was fantastic and took the time to listen to my concerns as well as my daughters.

  43. The doctors and nurses there are so sweet However my rating is due to the young lady that Just answered my call. I called with questions about my son’s appointment and she acted like I was bothering her. Very short answers and No friendliness in her voice Whatsoever! I didn’t catch her name but I sure will next time.

  44. Appointments NEVER run on time. Dr. Hemphil is great if you ever get to see him. The majority of the time I’ve not had great experiences with the front office. They are on their phones, are unhelpful, roll their eyes, and never seem to have …

  49. Have a referral to come see them. They won’t take the authorization number over the phone or accept the physical referral when I come see them. They say my doctor must fax it over. Just lost me there. I’ll go find a new place. Don’t make it ridiculously hard to get an appointment.

  50. Dr. Carter left the practice and I got no notification from the office. A patient for over two years and seen the doctor once – PA every time after. Sitting in Infusion. Unfriendly staff. They pass by with no greeting. Very cold. Will be moving on as a patient.

  51. I wish I could rate this place 0 stars! Went here for 6 years and every second there was a waste of time and money! The only reason I stayed was because of the lack of neurologists in the area. The one good person at this office, a nurse …

  54. The staff and neurologist are GREAT; wait times are AWFUL.
Waits regularly exceed one hour, in a noisy, bright lobby, hell for migraineurs. They provide help with insurance and patient assistance programs for expensive treatments or medications.

ery hard to solve my headaches. We’ve had good results so far. My only problem is being told if you need a refill or have any questions just call and it’s not that simple. I always seem to have a very hard time making contact.

  74. I usually love the care that I get from Savannah neurology but today I encountered the worst customer service I’ve seen in a long time. I just wish that companies still taught “people etiquette”- which means treat everyone how you would like to be treated.
