Sequoyah County Water Association (OK) Reviews ( 31 )
I’ve called 10+ times over 2 days and no one wants to answer. Probably not a great way to run a business. 38 1 star reviews should tell you how wonderfully horrible this place truly is.
The worst company ever. I had questions and concerns about my water service and now I get to attend a board meeting to get my questions answered? WTH 😒 smdh …
Rude, apathetic, They no longer send shut off notices they just give you a date for shut off which is fine I guess but rather than knocking on your door or calling you to let you know they are coming out they shut it off randomly on that …
Employees are rude, lazy, unprofessional, and obviously hate their job or their lives. Maybe both. If you hate dealing with people so much, get out of customer service. If I could give zero stars for this rating, I would.
Been with this company for 14 years never late always paid bill on time and in full but this year I bought a swimming pool and filled it up call company and they told me I had to pay in full for the water every company in the state of …
Very rude and didn’t care about the problem they themselves caused when meters where changed. Sone people get favors and some don’t depend on who you know. Not at all professional or caring about the customer. They have a monopoly and they know it.
I’ve not really had an issue with the people but I just hate payment service network. When they decided to go with them instead of just taking payments directly I really started hating it.
I called today because they pulled my meter before I could get off work and go pay my bill. I had made a partial payment and had the rest today. It was 75 bucks. I called them to ask if i came in to make the payment coyld they jist charge …
This company is the worst. They will say you have to come to Sallisaw and sign some papers. When you mention email , they act like that is a new invention. They cut you off, just to get the $100 reconnect fee. I would give no stars if I could!
Some of the rudest people I have ever met. They are a crooked company. If I didn’t need water service I wouldn’t use them. If not paid by the ten of month there is no grace period whatsoever. They will shut it off. They push for automatic draft then they take double when they do. Bad business all the way around.
Everyone is very rude, condescending, demeaning, unprofessional!!! $900 TO HAVE SERVICE TURNED ON @ NEW ADDRESS BECAUSE MY HUSBAND ONLY GETS PAID ONCE A MONTH SO OUR PAYMENTS ARE “ALWAYS LATE” SO HAVE TO PAY $200 SECURITY DEPOSIT WHEN I …
They need to update thier billing system. And what’s on the bill they send out. On the bill it says payment due by the 15th or there will be a late fee, there’s nothing that says about a disconnect date. We called and said we didn’t get a …
Oh man so helpful and pleasant to deal with. 15 years a customer and bill has more than doubled in that time, just like crookson hills their utilities are constantly going out! You have to love these coop utility companies in the rural area, they really squeeze you by the nuts if you forget to pay the bill!!!
I have properties in three states and a total of five that have water service. I recently purchased a cabin in an area serviced by this coop. Ive never had an issue anywhere else with any utility provider. I set up autopay on the PSN system …
Edit: After talking to the lady this morning about what happened, she did wave the reconnect fee and was friendly and polite. Everything was a big misunderstanding and inconvenience, but it appears to be resolved. …
This company has raised their rates, and they cut people’s water off after 5 days past the due date! Yesterday our bill was 5 days late! Not 1 month and 5 days but 5 days!!! They charged us $100 to have our water turned back on! But the …
Wow we had a water leak on our end of the meter, we couldn’t catch it quickly as the leak was not near our home. Associates listened to our dilemma, did all they could to report to the Board members with no promises. Board members …
Called 10 times, no one answered. Sent an email and someone wrote back within 5 minutes. I asked that they not shut our water off while we have the services transferred. We just bought this place. I was not able to open a new account or …
I have never in my life been treated so poorly as I just was here. Got hung up on TWICE because I asked them to explain to me why I got charge a $100 collection fee when my bill was 3 days late. Their reply was “have a nice day” and hung up …

We live in the Drake’s Prairie area and our water goes out ALL the time! Sequoyah Co. Water needs to get their s**t together!
This is a place that would have gone out of business if it weren’t a monopoly. They know you can’t go anywhere else to get running water.
The ladies that work here aren’t very friendly, I have to act overly friendly to get a smile out of them. Other than that, I’ve not had a problem.
