The worst!
Horrible company
Rude
No words….. that 1 star speaks for itself
Rude people, don’t work with you and lack compassion.
They suck overall. 100$ reconnect fee? This place is a joke.!
TOTAL JUNK SITE. Site down a lot. “Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access / on this server.”
Criminals. I don’t understand how my bill for such a small duplex can be so high and they have no answers, no help and apparently don’t report to anyone….
Great customer service in the offices! Friendly personalities go a long way
There is no other choice to pick from Shakopee. if i do i would drop this company in a heart beat
a monopoly with poor customer service, poor communication, a bad website and no realistic online bill pay option. Cheaper to write a check
Directions go to the employee/service entrance. Public parking lot is the next turn off of Sarazin Street coming from 4th Ave E
No communication during an outage, their website has inaccurate information on outages. Overall, they’re behimd thr times and slow to respond.
I believe the staff it is very friendly and as far as i have the opportunity to interact with them, they are the ladies in the billing department and the guys in the connections and desconnections area, but the online billing payment system …
No problems going in but if your feeling lazy and just wanna call you might wanna re think that I just tried to get into on my electric bill and the send me to water and hung up on me before transferring me to electric
PCA. 0117 can suck it. How about you produce enough electricity for your customers. I really hope you guys go out of business.. Any one different than the Shakopee public scam..
They are almost like they mob they will shut u off over a few cases of beer then charge u a hundred doller to turn u on. I vote no but of course theres no competition and choices right they dont care right
Archaic system for 2018! You can never see the correct balance or notices! You should be able to log in and see detailed information on your account!
Really nice people that work there. One observation: my energy bills continue to dramatically increase, but the only thing that seems to grow around here are the road infrastructure to all the entertainment areas around the city.
The city of Shakopee should be very embarrassed at the disgraceful customer service SPUC provides. Rude people, lazy, not held accountable. Website billpay is a complete joke and worthless. Government doesn’t do much right, and this is a great example of that.
How are you closed because of covid-19???? Power is the MOST ESSENTIAL SERVICE!!! We need power turned on at a new house and no one is in and the phone isn’t being answered for hours!!! It’s 95 degrees outside and someone can die from a heat stroke
Absolute robbery! How does a family of three in a home under 2000 square feet use over $250 worth of electricity and water in a month!? Just a normal month, no air conditioning, no Christmas lights, no leaky faucets…. And there’s no disputing it. There’s no place else to get your utilities. We’re just screwed. Good luck Shakopee.
Pretty much everything that can go wrong with a monopoly company. High prices, poor customer service and zero innovation. I’ve had two checks “lost” only to be found a few weeks later after paying late fees.
Horribly out dated. SPUC serves as a reinforcement of not what government can do for you, but what they can get away with when there is no incentive to do better. Shakopee deserves a utility, and a government in general, that exists to …
These are truly some of the most horrible human beings I have ever interacted with. If they were not a government controlled entity I am confident they would not be able to treat people the way they do, but as it is every one of their …
I’ve never been inside this building, however, I visit this location once per month to drop off my utilities payment in their drop box. Their location is convenient & you can drop off your payment without getting out of your car.
People of Shakopee should have more choices with reguard to our necessities in life, such ss electricity, gas, and water! This organization is driven by profit and not people! To be fair, the issue I have, is that my service was interrupted …
This company is ridiculous.. When I first moved in to my townhouse with my boyfriend, our utilities bill was around 80-90 bucks. Starting at the beginning of this year there was a HUGE jump in our pricing! We have done nothing different, …
Overpriced, outdated and inflexible. Not at all customer oriented as one would expect a public utilities service would be. No online access to your account. Must start to make a payment to find out your balance. For as much as we pay …
If I had a choice instead of this monopolized company I would choose the competitor over this company in a heartbeat. No customer service, charge way too much for online payments, you can’t look your account up on line. And don’t ever …
This is the worst company with the most brutal people in the world. There is no proper customer service but people who are out to make your life miserable.
They disconnect your power without notice and charge you $100 reconnection fee …
Bill jumped by double for no reason, so I brought the bill in to show them and they said the guy must have read the meter wrong because it was so far off it wasn’t possible. Did I get any money back….. no because they said I already paid …
Totally financial exploitation from this city utility company, they want a dam deposit every time you want a new Service with them.Even though you are a old customer with them for 13 months and just having to be moving down the road, even …
I have not had bad service with Shakopee Electric. If you are late on your bill they will work with you. If you forget to pay your bill there is a $100 reconection fee. First time that happens you wont do that again. They do also require a …
I really don’t even want to give them one star, but have to in order to make a comment. This company operates in the dark ages. No electronic bank to their company connection, so even on-line payment has to be mailed. I have had my account …
I live alone and watch closely to what I have running or turned on to maintain lower bills. Nothing in my habits have changed yet my bill fluctuates $20-30 more some months. Having to either mail your payment or drop it off is silly and …
I highly dislike the way the customer service and billing people do business. Rude customer service, irregular billing cycles, and they don’t have even sent me a disconnection letter but they disconnected I paid my bill still no …
I called to ask a question about my electric disconnections but the (Lady) behind the phone sounds very upset and hanged on the phone before I understand the situations, and I just flew in from home. I don’t understand this country anymore …
Due to a water leak that I was not notified about for nearly two months, I am being charged $1500 for an issue I was not even informed of until the issue was already present for two month. …
