Tift Regional Medical Center Reviews ( 121 )

  1. (Translated by Google) Do not go there if it is an emergency, I took my baby there with a fever of 104 and 4 hours wait and there were more sick people, they do not have care, they should be sued, …

  2. Yea I thought Tifton was gonna be better then cordele but idk I was in a car wreck and hit my head and hurt my leg the doctor asked me if I remember having amnesia…? I said I don’t remember hitting my head at all untill I felt the blood. …

  3. The er sucks go in with pain And get sent home still hurting just as much if not more than you were when you came in I wouldn’t let them treat my dog there

  4. Absolutely horrible!!!! They don’t care about their patients they only care about money! Some of the nurses are AMAZING and actually care but 90% of the doctors are horrible and Do not care!

  5. The hospital it self is good but the director of evs needs to be fired he has no knowledge of how to Effectively run a hospital the carpets and floors there are a mess

  6. I have been trying to get my records from my sleep study since November. The medical records department keeps saying that they have not received a request from my doctor, which is not true. I’m thoroughly disgusted with Tift Regional Records Department!

  7. The doctors and staff really seemed to take a personal interest in my dad’s care, geriatrics. I have very little experience with hospitals, but from what I saw, those negative comments appear to be vindictive. Maybe there is a reason…..I surely did not see one.

  8. Worst hospital ever. I would not recommend anyone going to this hospital. They think if your Dr has you on powerful prescription medication, that he’s wrong and you’re a dope head.

  9. Worse hospital . We went to ask a nurse a question and he runs once he sees us . Heck of a help they are . Nd the staff has an attitude they never help good . Worse service ever And we still waiting for more than an hour so get seen .

  10. Senior Executives,
You had a great pediatrician in Dr. Mark D. Wilson. I promise you I will be following him and you should be ashamed of yourselves and your politics for him no longer being there!

  11. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone. They lied to me about certain things, I had to beg for food and blankets. People don’t care about people anymore it’s all about the money.

  12. The staff here is very rude and does not care about patients…seems like they are just here for a paycheck. My mother was here for four days and not once did they change the sheets that clearly had urin in them. The doctor was very rude… I would urge everyone to go to PHOEBE IN ALBANY!

  13. Worst service ever!!!! Not enough doctors and nurses is something that should be considered with it being the flu season!!! Even if it’s a life or death situation your wait will be at least 7-8 hrs. Does no good having a hospital!!!!!!!!!

  14. I give this hospital five stars based solely on my experience which has been excellent. I have had excellent care and have been treated politely and compassionately.

  15. Awful checked Mom out AMA took her to another hospital. Will be contacting the state medical board about the Dr who treated her when she came in. Please take your loved ones elsewhere.

  16. The doctor was standoffish and a bit rude, but what really made it bad was he forgot to sign the prescription. I don’t think they will for get to bill by insurance. What is their answer “sucks to be you.” Double check everything with them especially if you have Dr. Enrique Galliano.

  17. 5 plus Stars goes to the Pediatric Ward. The staff was so nice and the service and compassion shown to my grand daughter and family during our emergency was superb. Thank you

  18. I have been here since 7 with kidney stones they just got it scan since and haven’t treated me at all for pain or anything. I understand being busy but kidney stones are no joke

  19. My wife and I were on the OB unit. The nurses, Valarie Farmer especially, took very good care of us and kept us informed. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay!

  20. My wife Susan Stripling went to Tift Regional for a knee replacement. From the time we walked through the door until she was wheeled out of the hospital, she and I were well taken care of. We have had dealings with the Crawford Long’s, …

  21. I do not recommend going here AT ALL, if I could – I would give it 0 stars. I was VERY uncomfortable giving birth here and that has a lot to say when that was supposed to be the best day of my life. To me this was a worst bad day of my life …

  22. I am so disgusted with the wait time for the Emergency Room. I arrived at 6:20 PM with a possibility of having a blood clot in my leg and I am still in the waiting room at 8:57 PM and I know I am NOT the next one back. This is ridiculous if I die from a blood clot, you are all to blame.

  23. I am a firm believer in giving kudos when the need arises: In January, I had to take my daughter to the ER. Honestly, the thought of going was quite nauseating (all the people, the wait, etc), but it had to be done. I decided on TRMC, …

  24. Affinity is owned by Tift Regional but can not treat their own patients according to the ER staff. Had to set with flu possibly and coughing patients for a simple Vitamin K. Then you have a charge nurse that has been here for 19 yrs. & knew it all…pitiful.

  25. My Husband and I were evacuating our home in S.W. Florida- N. Ft. Myers due to the 2017 hurricane= IRMA! ( my very 1st hurricane and I pray last) We packed up our 3 pets and headed North to Knoxville,Tn. Knoxville was the closest …

  26. Few weeks ago I went to Tift Regional because I thought I had a blood clot in my leg. They told me I didn’t after not checking me thoroughly. I’m currently in the hospital with a clot in my lung. Hmmm!

  27. Not all but most of the staff can be rude and instead of getting water from the kitchen or the area where they get ice… they get the water from the bathroom. Speaking of ice, instead of bringing it in a cup they bring it in a brown paper bag. Even the kitchen staff has an attitude. Need to do better.

  28. Dr. Paulk in the ER was fantastic! The entire team that was assigned to my Son all demonstrated a wonderful bedside manner and worked very efficiently. We had a great ER experience!

  29. My son was taken there Thursday because someone drugged him at a local rehabilitation facility….yes rehab where they are not supposed to have drugs. He is six hours from home. We made the drive not knowing if my son was dead or alive. …

  30. Staff super nice. The doctors need to learn bedside manners and respect. They started digging into my bag like they were children hunting candy and treating me like drug addict and and got frustrated when all they found was vitamins. I left.

  31. If it’s not life or death go to the next nearest facility… staff is nice but turtles do cartwheels faster than this place. I am going on my 3rd hour here in ER and all I needed was an x ray which I still haven’t received the results at this point. I could graduate with a doctorate and diagnose myself before I will be discharged….

  32. TRMC is a good hospital, with many hardworking professionals, under (often) challenging circumstances. All my experiences have been blessed. The reasons I don’t give 5 stars is because of the critical need for a THOROUGH nutrition …

  33. Was admitted for copd aspiration and had to stay for 11 days the doctors and nursing staff were excellent and took very good care of me. So many people complain about the staff but from what I have seen there and I have been admitted there …

  34. These are the most unprofessional healthcare providers ever, rude n disrespectful get up set wen u ask questions my daughter’s labor experience was the worst with them n I will be going to see a lawyer if anything happens to my daughter n …

  35. My mother has been in and out of the hospital and ER the past two weeks. The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. 2 years ago this hospital was wonderful. Saved my mothers life. This time seems like they don’t want to bothered with an 85 year old women.

  36. Horrible Hospital. The doctors and the staff on the unit she was palced while being there for HIV. Yes, HIV which, I her sister whom has been taking care of her since she made one mistake. Know about due to taking classes at Athens Regional …

  37. This is an amazing hospital with very friendly staff. I was admitted overnight for cardiac issues and everyone took care of everything in a timely manner. The staff and doctors are awesome and take the time out to explain things. Dont waste your time at SGMC in Valdosta, take the extra drive and come here.

  38. I’m sure it’s a great hospital for those who got better. My brother was being treated for the flu on a Friday. Monday he went back to the ER they admitted him and Tuesday they had to put him on a ventilator and then induce him into a coma. …

  39. I will always strongly believe that this hospital is responsible for my grandmother’s demise back in 99. She went in for knee surgery and they gave her a shot that was not supposed to be given to the elderly which caused her to be paralyzed …

  40. I waited 3:00 for an mri. This place is the worst and they dont care. I would stay away unless you are in critical condition. This is not my first bad experience. If they cant figure out how to schedule people in a respectful and …

  44. I gave birth to my son here. Nurses were not very friendly. On top of that, the pediatrician who “circumcised” my child… didn’t do it right. So my 9 month old just had to get it redone for ongoing issues. Not impressed with the guy at all. Mind you, he was also asking me very personal questions in front of my older brother.

  45. HORRIBLE! The absolute poorest medical care that I have ever had! The ER was crude, un-kept with poorly trained staff. The surgeon, Joel Johnson, should be terminated. I entered with SEVERE abdominal infection. Three days later, I left with …

  55. We were on our way home from vacation and my husband who is a bad diabetic was going into dka. We knew what this was cause he has had it before. This hospital was wonderful to us from er to discharge the nurses was excellent to. The doctors and nutritionist have even followed up with him after we left there great hospital

  56. Don’t go here if it’s an emergency!!
Horrible emergency room turn around. No one should have to wait 5 hrs before being seen. Is this common people leave the emergency room without being seen

  60. My last experience there i was treated less than human the nerve of the doctor to give me Tylenol for pain i had been in over eight hours and had the audacity to tell me well i gave you Tylenol I WANT TO THANK NURSE ABBY FOR FIGHTING FOR ME …

  61. I’ve had issues with this ER before but when I went on the 5th the nurse was so sweet she took time when I’m sure she was busy to let me vent about being tired of being chronically I’ll and always being in pain. The doctor was pretty good he made sure to explain things and definitely way better than the last Dr I had there.

  62. The only good thing about my recent visit is that whatever is wrong with me was not life threatening because if it was I would of died waiting to get looked at. Then they have the nerve to ask if you have thoughts of suicide. Honestly after …

  63. TRMC took great care of our daughter when she had a stroke. Their quick action was life saving. We are very thankful to have this facility in our community.

  64. Very clean. Very hospitable 😏, guest comforts were offered in the ICU step-down unit if we had wanted to stay and the staff were all very comforting and informative. I believe the step-down unit is (or was aty visit) quite short staffed. …

  66. This is the WORST HOSPITAL!!!. The service was awful. The staff at the front desk in the ER had AWFUL customer service. Some of the staff in the back were very nice such as Barbara in CAT SCAN. This hospital needs to close. Because they …

  67. Sat in the waiting room for 6 hours with a sick 7 year old. When I went to ask what was taking so long they claimed to have already called my son’s name which was not true because we had been sitting in the waiting room the whole time. I didn’t even go to the restroom so there’s no way I would’ve missed them calling him.

  68. There is no excuse for anyone to have to wait for 8 hours to see a doctor and then pull people back after only being there for two hours. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they just needed emergency medical care.

  69. I enjoyed working with this team as a nurse (RN). They have solid nurses and doctors for a regional rural hospital. I brought my own mother here when she had a STEMI in June, and most recently, respiratory distress related to Covid. The …
