North Alabama Educators Credit Union was established in 1955 to serve employees of the local educational community. The credit union now serves over 10,600 members and has accumulated over $100 Million in total assets. There are other means of membership eligibility other than being an educator. (Noted on our website). North Alabama Educators Credit Union follows the philosophy of Not for Profit, not for Charity, but for Service. The credit union exists for the sole purpose of serving the financial needs of our membership. Account holders at North Alabama Educators Credit Union are referred to as members because they actually own a share of the credit union. The members own the credit union and receive value through lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and reduced service fees. The Credit Union has four office locations in the north Alabama area, two in Huntsville, one in Madison, and one in Athens. There are also over 5,000 branches available nationwide through the CO-OP Network Shared Branching network.

It is the best thing.
One of the best banks I have dealt with. The staff are always so friendly and helping. Plus they have great rates on loans.
