Rude black old lady told me can’t sent help.i was out of town working on the weekend and was out there late.i help people to make sure they go home save and this os what i got?i pay them last week and you can’t help of my little issue?wow, what a service 👎 …
They don’t care about anyone. Very rude management. Was told we get several chances to pay the bill. They don’t care even with children in the home. Worthless. Makes me sick.
I moved out of an apartment, and for the quarter where I used 0 water, STILL charged me over $98 in service fees. Why was I charged a service fee for a service I didn’t use??
Of all my years dealing with city services, Waterloo does a very good job, except for the water works. Moving is a pain, starting and stopping service is a pain. Dealing with this office in general is a pain.
Not willing to work with anyone. I get paid once a month and just because I can’t pay until 36 hours after my due date, they are going to charge me a 5% fee of my bill. Looks like I need to move out of this place. It is ridiculous that they are unwilling to give some sort of give for 36 hrs. So not a great place for service.
There’s a reason Waterloo Waterworks only has a little over a 1 stars average for reviews, it’s hands down the worse run and managed utility in Iowa!! I hope my review drops their rating down to just a 1 star average!! …
If I could give less than 1 star, I would. Solely for their customer service. They are by far the WORST company to deal with. If you want to push your payment out even 2 weeks because of unforeseen financial hardships, they could care …
I have an unoccupied duplex and the last 4 bills that I recieved have been higher and higher. From $98.84 on July 31 2019, 121.00 on November 2019, and now 140.97 for May 2020. We understand that there is a new fee for the yard waste and …
This city needs to take a hard look at the very poor customer service skills it’s employees have! I have been in one form or another of customer service all my life and would not have had a job very long with the skills or rather non skills …
I wish I could leave less than a star. Funny I bought a house signing every contract online, but Waterloo water works requires in person agreement signing while operating under bankers hours. Makes it pretty difficult for those that work to get their services set up… Get with the times.
I talked with Carla this morning and she was so kind and did an amazing job getting my issue taken care of. They sent someone out by the afternoon and took care of my issue. She left me a detailed voicemail following up with what they did. …

The reviews weren’t lying! The lady I spoke to was nice but I just moved here from Kansas and never have I had to go down to sign a contract to start service for WATER, WATER. Never have I had to pay 105 dollar deposit neither a $3.45 …
nasty attitudes on the phone for one! & they must still be operating on in the 1900’s. Only check or money order, not open on weekends. I was supposed to move into my new place, and since I WORK, i cant come 8am-5pm plus i a coming from out …
1 STAR JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE CHARGING A $2.95 DEBIT OR CREDIT PROCESSING FEE, THEN THERE IS A LIMIT ON A CARD OF $300 WHEN MY BILL IS $305 SO NOW I AM PAYING A PROCESSING FEE TWICE.SMALL BUSINESSES DONT CHARGE THIS FEE BUT YOU DO
Less then a star they shut my water off twice before Christmas left me the one time without water for 5 days after I paid them 750. I turned it back on myself. Still got charged the fee. The worst part is they bill me and give me 3 weeks to …
Honestly the worst utility I’ve ever used. Can’t register online (come on, it’s 2022) and the garbage removal service is terrible. Today marks the THIRD time they did not take my garbage from the street for no apparent reason in 6 months …
There service is sucks
In and out… Strictly business
Always helpful when I call.
Always coming up with new fees to charge you!!!
It says Waterloo Waterworks. But my water doesn’t work 😢 …
Can’t tell what smells worse, their water or their employees.
Terrible customer service, and terrible communication. Just a poorly managed organization honestly.
I been sick not able to work they are very cut Throat Office manager hung up on me they don’t care. Absolutely will not work with anyone.
Spoke to a man named brian who was extremely rude & hung up on me never had a good experience with any of the reps here.
Everytime I turn my faucet on water comes out and for that I’m grateful.

Theyre charging us 28 dollars to turn our water back on when we had paid our bills but they claimed we had to sign some contract?

My water stinks like chemicals
This place is always solid to me… I’m always late paying my bills and they never charge the late fee like it says on the bill so I’m just thankful

Excellent service! My 🌊 meter broke Friday night, I called Saturday morning 🌄 and someone came to fix it in less than an hour. Thank You so much! 😊 …

Time to bring a class action law suit against the CITY OF WATERLOO…
…
I do not use their “recycle” bin or their “yard waste”… …
Overcharged the last two times. One bill was $500.00 which is insane. The online bill pay doesn’t work. Frustrating to go from CFU to these guys.
Hard to work with on bills…don’t ever expect an extension smh
