Not a fan.
They are wonderful people at this place
EXCELLENT SERVICE FRIENDLY STAFF AND VERY CLEAN AND UNDERSTANDING
Easy to locate and plentiful parking. Friendly staff are very discreet and knowledgeable.
Dropped off my son for treatment, seems like a good place.
The staff helped me get through what I was dealing with at the time and helped me become better at managing my anger they helped me become a great today thanks ☺️☺️
All the staff are little kids and it’s very dysfunctional. Dont recommend placing your children here. Children tell children what to do – very sad !
tanager is a great place to place your children they care so much about them and love them as thier own there is no better place than tanager
The staff really helped me out a little over a decade ago. I learned valuable lessons during my stay and I’m glad they helped me become the young woman I am today because without them… I don’t know where I would be.
Very weak supervision. Understaffed. Therapist that talks over clients and is more interested in being right than being informative. Child in inpatient care had behaviors increase tenfold while at Tanager Place.
I received a phone call 23 years later when I reached out about some negative experiences still haunting my 16 year old mind. The director called to listen to my story. He described how much Tanager Place has changed for the positive. …
My daughter got worse after being there. The staff didn’t take self harm seriously. I ended up pulling her from there after 4 months of no improvement
Absolutely the worse treatment there is to offer. One star is to much in my opinion
I go here for therapy and other things and I really like going there
This place is ok for kids but if you’re looking for a job I wouldn’t suggest it management does not care about staff and you’ll get close to the kids just to get let go for little to nothing and I can only imagine how it feels for the kids …
I lived there back in 1984 and 1985. It was the best place my social worker placed me in. I miss all my friends I made there and all the staff that took care of us. I sometimes wish I could go back in time and be there again with everyone. I love and miss you all!!
I am at Tanger Place right now and there are very good staff. Very supervised. Even my mom really likes that I am getting help that I need.
Because they treated the kids poorly. They also staff ganged up on us. I don’t recommend you going there because if I didn’t like how I got treated there . I was terrified of being there I just wanted to go home and they wouldn’t let me go …
I interned here when I was in undergrad at University of Iowa and Tanager is truly a well run facility. The staff is well trained and they provide structured, supportive, and comprehensive therapeutic interventions for children with myriad needs. My experience here was exceptional!
