Run……this our eyes folk….
Always a good experience here…no problems, great folks.
Dr. reached out by phone to follow up and answer any questions or concerns.
This place has doctors who are kind as well as the receptionists. Great customer care.
The receptionists are so rude and unprofessional and actually unable to schedule an appointment. Kim was the worst.
Not only was my problem not solved, charges to my account were not explained prior to service. Would not recommend, will not go back.
Highly recommend. Staff are always great to work with and all Dr’s are very informative.
Very professional and caring for their patients. I should know as i have been a patient in this clinic for 26 years.
I actually really love this place. The doctor I have is great. If you hadn’t done what you done, I would have lost the sight in one of my eyes.
HORRIBLE!!! MIy family and I waited 40 minutes after our appointment was scheduled with no knowledge of what was going on. I was put in an exam room and just left there. Will not be returning.
No warning when I made my appointment yesterday that they would dilate my eyes. I would have arranged for a ride if they had. Terrible receptionists here, it was the incompetent manager who made the appointment.
Have tried to call to verify an appointment so that transportation times can be arranged for a patient. Can not get through. Just hold music. Is there anyone that answers the phone?
Been going here for years. Never had any issues, staff was always nice and polite. Quick and easy to get my eyes checked every couple years here.
I’ve been going there over 25 yrs. and would not go any place else. I’ve had the best care ever from Dr. Bodoia…he is awesome. I have never had any bad experiences there!
I’m writing this review as I sit in the waiting room. I have been here for over an hour waiting to be seen. Everyone who had come in after me had been called back within 10 min of checking in. I will not be returning.
The doctors are great but the front desk and billing not so. I will be going elsewhere. They really need to educate the front desk staff in what is or is not covered. The billing staff needs some customer skills training.
I have had a bad experience with this clinic. I will never return and will never recommend it to anyone. I said as much in a letter to the billing department detailing my complaint, and I was ignored and billed again in error.
I’ve had glasses and contacts my whole life. This place made my wife go to the most ludicrous amount of visits for glasses and contacts I have ever heard of. Do they not know that you can get online and order contacts? Absolutely insane. We are not going back.
I have been going to this office since I was a child (over 25 years). The care has always been exceptional. I have a difficult prescription and no other office has been able to correct my vision. I would highly recommend this office.
Dr Bodoia removed the cataract from my R eye. I had asked for infinite vision so I could see to drive on the freeway. The intraocular lens he put in made me NEARSIGHTED. I went back after a week and he said “Well, just give it a little time …
I would not bother. First time patient, the front desk very courteous and efficient; However I sat for an HOUR (questioned lady next to me if “normal” and she said she was thinking of going elsewhere as she usually waits almost two hours …
Hostile, mean and completely rudefront staff. So unprofessional. Worst doctor’s office I’ve ever visited. Billing department just as bad. Staff does not know what they are doing. They act like children in front of patients. They have …
I read the negative reviews and wondered if we were going to the same place. We’ve been going here for decades and found them always pleasant and accomodating. Yes, the wait is long sometimes. Dr. Bodoia takes his time and explaines everything AND you can get a cup of so-so coffee while your waiting for your eyes to dialate.
Left messages and this place does not call back, nor do they apparently answer phones after sever rings/attempts during business hours. Front desk/receptionists apparently don’t answer phones or call back. Not sure how one is suppose to get …
When I went in for the appointment the front desk was very good and professional but when I went for eye exam the tech’s no what they were doing I had about 3 maybe four different tech’s coming and going out of the exam room. I will not come back it was quite chaotic .
Wait time is awful. I used to go to Dr. Porter. I had morning appointments and she always was 2+ hours late and always had a lame excuse. I finally changed facilities and Doctors and have been very happy. I would not recommend Dr. Porter.
One call to Eye MDs of Puget Sound and they picked up. And scheduled me same week. Olympia Eye Clinic is not worth your time. …
Love my Dr Porter and all the staff. Very professional and kind. Had cataract surgery on both eyes. Eyesight improved 100%. Recommend using this opthalmologist.
i had two separate visits with preston sullivan. on the very first visit i asked to have my stye incised due to not having insurance i wanted to take care of the problem immediately. instead he suggested a kenalog injection which helped for …
This is our third year here. Wait for dilation to work takes time as with any other office, it’s normal. The staff are all kind, informative and professional. The reception area is spacious and we’re not crammed into a small reception area. Obviously they can’t meet everyone’s expectation but I recommend them.
I was a returning patient…but when I called in for an appointment, the earliest they could get me in was 4 months from now. My schedule is difficult to determine that far out, so I opted to try elsewhere. When I googled I learned that …
I have been going here for 15 years. Both doctors I’ve seen (Preston Sullivan, who is no longer there; John Samples) are top-notch. My complaint is the front desk. Long delays, too busy, impolite attitudes, etc. I will continue to go …
The girls in front are super nice and helpful. Assistants are great too. The eye contact Dr. was far from desirable. Never met a Dr. so full of himself. Will never go back as long as he is there. The Dr. I saw before him was wonderful and very helpful. Sorry to see him go.
Thank you Dr. Kelley and Olympia Eye Clinic for making my Cataract Surgery smooth and very eventful! Your Team was awesome from the time I scheduled my surgery with Donna picked out my upgraded lenses, when I walked into the surgery center …
In summary, this place is run like a joke…
I called a few times (just to get a copy of my rX) and was placed on hold for more than 20 minutes each time. I also went in person, was ignored at check in …
One of the most outrageously rude clinics I have ever been too. We are a military family with almost thirty years of service to this country and community. The office staff, mainly Kim, an older women with dark hair, treated me like I was …
Took my husband there with eye injury saw Dr confirm injury very important to do eye drops. They never sent it to pharmacy. I called got him in to see better Dr and then 24 hours after Olympia Clinic appt they sent prescription to pharmacy. …
The receptionist I worked with was basically asking me to do her job. She was rude and condescending and threw a ton of paper work at me and acted like her job was just so hard (cue tiny violin). Overall that first face becomes the first …
All you need to know as an Eye Clinic to train your receptionist staff customer service, hospitality, research billing and coverage before talking to your clients. …
Horrible experience, went to my first appointment and was scheduled for another appointment for a procedure, I showed up for second appointment payed my co pay and waited for an hour to be sent away with out having the procedure because …
Do not go here if you have VSP insurance. We kept getting bills for months after our appointment because apparently we weren’t charged enough the first time we paid at the clinic. The doctors and nurses were nice but the receptionists did …
I was driving by and realized I needed to use what I had left of by benefits so I stopped and went in. After waiting my turn to talk with someone I was directed to a lady that said she could help me. When I gave her my information she said …
I felt like my time didn’t matter to them. My first appt I waited over an hour. I rescheduled and had to come back another day. When calling them on the phone, they put you on permanent hold. Then when they called to confirm my appt for …
Thank you, Wade.
TL;DR I had a billing issue, that more than likely was caused by my own …
Misdiagnosed. Was sent to Oregon for specialist when all I needed was a lens change. The
Also didn’t do a dilatation and with glacoma she should have..Employee mad she …
After reading several reviews, I was still going to give this place the benefit of the doubt. But, NO; avoid if you have any other options.
Here was my short lived experience dealing with this location: …
From the moment we began the check in process as a new patient, the receptionist did not seem to fully know how to make the process either welcoming or efficient. We were questioned about having brought in new patient paperwork that we …
From the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out I was treated with compassion and care. Dr. Kelley took the time to explain what he saw and what could be done to give me better vision. The staff were very attentive. I highly recommend this clinic.
Dr. Porter performed cataract surgery on me a couple of years ago. I opted to pay extra for custom lens implants in each eye. I could not be happier. I only wear glasses to read now and none for driving. I’m so glad I had this done. It is …
I will not be coming back to Olympia Eye Clinic once I pick up my last order of contacts. Was trying to get my prescription faxed to Costco so I could order new glasses, and they sent me my contact prescription instead of my glasses …
My mom went in for both cataract surgeries here. The first one we were told there was a 2 hour delay at check in, and I told them I would be leaving to run some errands and gave them my number. I was gone for about 4 hours while my mom …
Made an appointment for lasik evaluation and had to wait 2 months. Got to the clinic and was told the procedure is charged to medical insurance and they don’t take TRICARE. Would have been nice to now that two months ago. Would give ZERO stars if this site would let me.
I had to make two different appointments because I use contacts and I’m diabetic and none of the doctors do both, then they scheduled me two different days instead of trying to schedule me the same day as requested so I wouldn’t have to …
I’ve been going to Olympia Eye Clinic for close to 30 years and have seen three doctors over those years. I have from two to four appointments a year as I have glaucoma. In fact, I was there this morning The place was packed because four …

Unfortunately it took my review to get the situation resolved but after being given a new contact to reach out to the issue was resolved in an hour. They were …
We had just moved to Olympia, and while assembling shelves in the garage, I leaned into a metal bracket and scraped the edge of the eye and bloodied the upper eyelid. My wife drove me to Olympia Eye Clinic, and walking in the door at …
My 79 year old mom was given a referral to this place by her PP. we got to the office 10 minutes BEFORE our appt. we were told because we weren’t there 15 before that we had to reschedule. Mind you we had already waited awhile just to get …
The woman I spoke to over the phone was very rude and had a terrible attitude She said her name was Beverly. She was extremely unprofessional with the way she spoke to me & I had to put it on speaker phone for my mother to hear as well …
The only good thing about this clinic is that they can get you in right away. The bad is almost too much to mention (please read updates below). They are so packed full of people with so much going on that nobody knows what’s happening. …
I managed to have my appt., get my glasses, and everything worked out fine all within 2-3 weeks time. I’ve heard they are difficult to get ahold of by people I know who have gotten glasses there. I seemed to get through to the clinic fairly …
My appointment took 2 hours. I arrived 10 minutes early as requested to fill out paperwork, but the two receptionists responsible for checking patients in and out spent an average of 10 minutes per patient, so by the time I got to the front …
In my opinion, office staff were professional, friendly and accommodating. Clean office setting. Had apt set for 8:20 was seen at 8:25. The eye doctor was very professional. He confirmed what I suspected, that I was previously …
I was here last 3 years ago and requested an appointment at the beginning of this year with my ophthalmologist. Informed that my ophthalmologist retired I was able to get an appointment with Patrick Kelley on April 8. When I got there I …
I had cataract surgery with Dr. Kelley and he was amazing. He was honest and very straight to the point which I appreciate. I was having a hard time driving at night and am really happy to feel more comfortable driving again. His staff made …
I have never been so uncomfortable and distrustful of eye exams and recommendations until I stepped into this office. Everytime I would go into the office for services the front office staff members would always go out of their way to …
Great place. We had a medical emergency while on vacation in Olympia, and this was the only ophthalmologist who would take us. …
