SVUD is a dishonest organization that is inept in their simplest of function. Their deceptive practices such as charging people for things they clearly shouldn’t.
Very poor customer service. I had a check delivered to them on the due date but they still gave me a late fee because they didn’t cash it that day. Very ridiculous. They said they’d wave it as a “one time courtesy” and not to let it happen again. I’m very angry, very frustrated.
Two days without water!! It has been 2 days and they haven’t reconnected the water after I signed my new contract at their office. They keep saying it will be connected any time but can’t give me a time frame.
And that’s one star too many. Been paying my bill every other month plus a few extra dollars over late fee for over eight years. Now that’s not good enough for them. Totally clueless when it comes to customer service or satisfaction.
Customer service is not in their vocabulary, and neither are any management skills! Just as others have stated, quick to take your money with a smile, but to help with your needs,not so much! They can be quite rude as well!

This company rips you off every chance they can. Sewer bill is based on your water usage. If you are on the fence about buying a house in their service area you must consider that SVUD charges about $170 per month for sewer and water (family of 4) .
