  1. Combined water and sewer bill huge rip off. Basically its an income confiscation program. No shortage of poor people’s money over at the water department! Especially at Clean Water Services where every employee drives a brand new car …

  2. I pay my bill and they give me water. Its been a great relationship so far. Maybe I’m bias having grown up in Phoenix but this water is the best on the planet. Its a little pricy but I would pay anything not to have to drink anything else.

  3. Wow, these guys don’t mess around when it comes to their money. So my bill was due on the 27th of August and my auto pay didn’t go through because they changed systems, they apparently sent me to notifications and a robo call that I don’t …

  4. I have lived in several apartments through out the Multnomah area, despite a few that may charge a “Utility Back” on top of your light bill. Yet when I moved to the Tigard area, and moved into a apartment on hall. It amazes me how they were …

  5. Paid my bill online, they shut my water off 12 hours later. Their rates have increased in two years where my bill has doubled. Where do you file complaints at against a Utility company? Why is water a utility anyway?

  6. Their fix rate is unbelievably high, it’s $143 for a household!!!
We just moved to this area. Our water bill is more than twice! We are two people and live in a small house. We take shower at the gym, and our water usage is …

  7. We just moved to NW Portland.
Our water bill is 3 times more than any bills ever!
For a family of two with no yard and minimum use of water $240 doesn’t seem …

  8. have to agree that rates are too high. sometimes I wonder what it takes to bring a few hundred gallons of water to my house. this company should be audited by state or federal agencies to ensure they are operating efficiently. their cost is …

  9. So an employee confirmed for me that it takes them over 2 weeks to mail out the bill, then of course takes a few days for the post office to deliver it and by the time you receive it you have 5 days to pay it. Wouldn’t a little more grace period be helpful? Not for them, they want you to be late so they can charge you late fees. Shady.

  10. Going to jump on this 1 star bandwagon. I have attempted to set up auto pay twice which failed the first time and I’m not sure about the second. The second time I did it I punched my card info into the system and tried to make a payment for …

  11. I’m never late on my bills…except for once a long long time ago with these guys. Since then all I’ve ever received was a “late notice” or intent to shut off my water notice as a “bill”. No bill saying this is due is ‘x’ days, just “pay …

  12. Think about it… Who’s going to take the time to review a utility company with a captive marketumarket they have an issue? I stumbled on the low star rating, read a few reviews, and figured I’d chime in to add some balance to the …

  13. I paid my ENTIRE BILL off 12/10/21. I received a email today (1/3/22) threatening to shut off my water within 24 hrs if I didn’t pay my over due bill with a due date of November 30th?! I spent a extra amount of time on the phone with the …

  14. What a horrible company. I have an auto payment plan set up with them and THEIR system glitched and didn’t take my payment and yet I have to suffer the consequences of getting my water shut off without warning!? What an awful way to treat …

  15. Always billing issues, nothing is their fault, horrific IT staff, website tragic. Impossible to get ahold of anyone. If I could give less than one star. Need additional public oversight for such a poorly run utility.

  16. I to only receive a bill when that states I have roughly 1 week to pay just like other reviews I’ve read on here. Also it seems their response in regards to the higher rates is that they are building a new water supply that will be ready in …

  17. Our house caught fire July 2021 (not our fault) and because of that we discovered that there was a leak in our irrigation system (we were tipped off by water being used in a vacant house- unfortunately took us longer that it should have to …
