HAPO is worst ever bank I met in US. They just keeping sending you rubbish letters asking for paying even I paid all my loans three months ago. I’ve gone to their banks three times try to cut any ties with them but they still keep sending the junk letters. Leave Hapo as far as you can.
They’re trying to profit off the pandemic… charging $7 to make a credit card payment by phone acting like that’s a good deal, when their lobbies are closed and they serve their drive-thru customers at slower than a snail’s pace. so it’s darn near impossible to make a payment any other way.
They charge for everything, I think they charge for air ! Very poor customer service, hold times on phone are unreal . I paid off my 60 month loan on the first payment just to get away from theses bandits, stay far away if you want peace of mind.

What a terrible credit union. 3% APR = 25% of your total loan. Wont allow you to pay off the loan early without driving 3 hrs to their office or mailing a cashiers check. Send them a check to pay off and they charge you $30 interest for the few days it took in the mail. Any other lender is better than HAPO.
