I cannot recommend this facility highly enough. The staff are kind and attentive. And they will feed you well. The facility is very clean. The groups are always educational and fun.Dr. Wilson is fantastic and really listens.
Helpful in dealing with episodes
omg, My son is there :'(
horrible
the food wasnt bad ;/
Nuts running the nut house. Should have a zero star option, Google. 🙂
I’ll keep this short and sweet….take your business elsewhere
Like others have said, communication between doctors, staff, and family is completely horrible.
It’s Arizona, I expected the kind of treatment since I was visiting from Texas. Prob worse than the ghetto.
They helped me get a handle on my depression and suicidal thoughts.
Have caring and supportive nurses in the “back” part of your treatment hospital.
My friend went there for 5 days when he got back he told me and showed me he got stiches on his lip. 1 star place sucks.
This place is a joke…. they will torture and tranquilize your child.
Was sexually assaulted, and nothing was done. Don’t send your family here. This is coming from a 14 year old. They don’t know what they’re doing there.
I was treated less than a human being. Terrible energy and the place was extremely dirty. Really inhuman.
It’s a terrible place to send you children people my wife was sent there because CPS couldn’t find placement for her when she was younger and she was told she had all these problems this place scared her for life ….
We had good communication between us and the staff. No parking but on the side if the road.
This place was something different i was here for about a week ive seen and heard things and i have to say this place was amazing the staff was very nice and helpful i dont think i would have made it in there without their amazing staff. Thank you guys for helping me.
this place is so horrible, i went 2 years ago and the edges of the mirror were sharp, there was mold in the showers and they didn’t check on us at night
Best “vacation resort” ….. I go in broken and come out whole again…… they were all there for me….. most of us patients can’t see it for a while…. trust me …. I have done in patient by request
Loved it 10 out of 10 would go again food amazing beds separated art room like what else would you want cortyard lik fam it was lik 10 feet long but was gud
So far so good, secretary could smile more. I get work sucks but I’ll peoplet don’t need a grumpy mcgrumperson.
If I could give 0, I would.
They did not treat my son. They said he was dine after 4 days. He has to go longterm inpatient elsewhere because he is worse now than he was.
Usually see Tyler but he wasn’t there this time. Go check him out and tell him I sent you. Does good skin fades.
They release the patients as soon as possible and never do anything for them but make things worse.
Disgraceful place, do not send your loved ones here if they need help. The staff are terrible people who don’t care about helping anyone.
Go to another city if you must.
Lack of communication and does not listen to patients needs.
What Kind Of A Place Is This ??? They don’t even answer phone on one number after 10 rings, or internet main number after 20 rings. How am I supposed to get a hold of my friend in that place ??? So, I call again at 11:50 AM and this time …
their food was nasty and i only made one friend there its a she and i first got there it was a very scary experience and i got there by midnight and at the crc it was much more scarier i saw two fights start and of course i did not like …
I can’t give ZERO STARS SO I HAD TO GIVE 1. This place is absolutely HORRIBLE. Our 9 yr old son went there, he’s autistic and has some other mental health issues. The staff there are lazy, incompetent and uncaring. All three combined make …
I want to thank the tremendous IOP staff for helping me reclaim my life. The therapists taught me how to manage my addiction and I will be forever in their debt. Thanks for literally saving my life.
Head nurse Rob is amazing!! He really helped my son during this difficult time as well as communicate to me his strengths and stress areas!!
I have been here twice now now this can work for some or might not work things to expect when admitted the staff will show you around show you where your bed is at then your pretty much on your own with a bunch of people you dont know and …
Where to begin. First of all the mission statement does not correlate to what you will experience at this facility. The mission statement states: “blah, blah, blah.” But in reality, it’s all about the bottom line–AKA $$. I worked here …
It was everything I needed. Very friendly and informed staff. I met some wonderful people even if we were on the sickly side. Good laughs and honest tears. Facing things to hard to do alone. Made me feel like I am a special person. Only one like me!
My stay at Sonora Behaviorl Health was excellent and the staff was in good standards and attended to the patient’s with good care.
Thank you to the staff that attended my care..
Both the Hospital and Outpatient programs have helped me immensely. Far better than the CRC, Palo Verde or Mountain View. Programs both for mental health and substance abuse. Would highly recommend for those needing help.
They steal you things and not do anything about it.
Interesting that staff working here are now starting to post positive reviews in order to counteract the legitimate (and often negative) ones that patients post….Mine from a year ago “mysteriously” disappeared….
I was a patient here 4 years ago as an adolescent. My records contained false information because someone misunderstood what I said, and I was ignored and victim-blamed by the psychiatrist. The food is barely edible. Don’t send your kids here.
This place needs investigated. My 10 year old was here them knowing this was Nuro did NOTHING! I am filing complaints. Disorganized, my daughter didn’t get her own clothing till 4 days later, ran NO testing and NEVER had answers. If you …
I will say that if you suffer from depression, PTSD, trauma of any sort, Dr. Wilson is your man. He and his team will go the extra mile to save you and your family from much grief. I Cannot recommend this facility more highly.
If I could give Zero I would. No communication and when you try, no one calls back. Daughter doesn’t know her case worker or anyone supposedly helping her. I will be filing a complaint with insurance for them to investigate practices and falsely providing services!
I spent 2 weeks there & it would’ve been less if the nurse had paid any attention whatsoever to the medication I needed and gave it to me right away. It was there the whole time & they thought it wasn’t. Completely incompetent staff.
By the time you read this review it will be too late. Took my daughter to the CRC to hopefully get some outside treatment plan and help to help with her combative behavior. They kept her overnight and called me the next day to tell me that …
Worst hospital I’ve ever been to! Most of the staff were rude! I heard one saying “don’t work too hard and don’t let them get on your nerves.” They almost never had beneficial Classes that helped with mental health. Only thing that …
After 8 different mental facilities in 5 months my Fiance is finally getting the care he needs. I have been treated kindly. Best of all my loved one is no longer being put thru hell, praise God. Thank you Staff.
They did nothing to help me dr douglas only spoke to me three or four times out of the seven days i was there robin my social worker spoke to me three times very briefly and i was sitting in a blank room for about 6 hours waiting to be …
The IOP is amazing. It has really helped me make many positive changes in my life. The group therapist really knows what she’s doing and very intuitive. She put things I didn’t know how to say into words for me. Almost like she was right …
Worst experience of my life. The doctors are undermanned and they put you on whatever medication they guess might work. I filed complaints against the Military ward clinical director (Dr Stibek) and in-turn was discharged from the program …
My son was admitted to the Hospital near the beginning of March. The staff and facility were very nice. My son’s doctor at the Hospital began treating him with a new medicine. Within 5 days he improved remarkably well. His train of …
The experience is very close to being in prison. The will also pump you full of pills no matter what your situation is and turn you into a zombie. There was nothing but pill-pushers who would prescribe you a smorgasbord of medication after talking to you for a minute and no counselling or anything. They will admit anyone to fill rooms.
well this place is horrible, the employes are very disrespectful and rude to the families here, they only seem to care about themseleves and not their patients, they are very unorganized as well, my brother was staying here and they …
A person I know was transferred to this place and I have to say this was the worst customer service I have EVER encountered. I am in the healthcare field and I would never treat any of our patient’s or their family like this. Myself and …
I was admitted to Sonora when I was 14 for a suicide attempt & stayed for a week. The BT’s don’t care about the kids, one was using his phone under the table and playing games while I was having a panic attack and he was supposed to be …
Horrible. They don’t help adolescences at all. I stayed there for about 5 nights and practically had to kiss a** to everyone just for them to believe I wasn’t the slightest bit of crazy. Every “nurse” there clearly hates their job. Just a …
I went to this hospital a little more than a month ago. The techs and nurses helped make the atmosphere more comfortable. I only didn’t like one thing, which were the beds. They’re literally yoga mats stacked on top of eachother.
Called to check in on a family member and Dean answer the phone extremely rude saying they don’t have a program due to my area code when I hadn’t even told him what I needed!!!!! Not the place to call if you need help in a serious manner!!! …
The staff of Sonora went above and beyond to accommodate my child and help me find the resources we needed after her discharge. They genuinely cared, which is something that is few and far between these days. Thank you all for everything❤
They never answer their phone, but when they do, they want to hang up the phone as quickly as possible. Also requests are ignored even concerning medications for patients! …
Dr. Diaz should lose his licence for what he does to his patients. Forcing patients to take heavy dosages of medications the patient have never taken before, lying that he has called family members and relaying info that was never said, and …
I was suffering severe psychiatric anxiety and depression. I spent 10 days in a mental hospital for an attempt on my life. I was prescribed increasing medicines that sedated me, but did not see enough improvement to be functional. I was …
From Jennifer at the front desk to all the excellent nurses, Tami, Crystal, Donata and Kelly in the preparation bays to the recovery area all steered by Dr. Weigund’s expertise, we could not be more thankful. My husband and I are treated with the upmost professionalism and empathy while making him well.
Ashley has to be the worlds worst social worker. She never shows any emotions EVER! Her face always has a blank look on it. She also has no personality and is rude and uncaring. I called the director and of course he didn’t return my call. …
The majority of his stay was good. But the day he was being discharged a tech came in my sons room and was taunting him, trying to get my son to react .when he didn’t the tech then put an elbow to my some jaw. Continued to taunt him. And …

I’m particularly fond of the staff at Madera. They are great ON every day and both 7p -7a or 7a-7p.My only problem was when I was moved to? Ward. They only are allowed to give what’s supplied. The med nurse, male ,he’s delightful and always …

I would not recommend this facility to anyone suffering from depression. There is no counseling of any kind and you are lucky if you see a doctor more than 3 minutes a day. The worst part of this experience is dealing with the billing …
I felt that staff was caring and as helpful as they could be with as many patients they have. Nurses were always on top of everyone’s meds. Doctors did the best to get around to all the patients. Thanks to them i finally received the …

The obnoxious person on the phone was all I needed to know this place has no compassion, most horrible thing they have children at their facility.
