Absolutely horrible customer service. Called about a billing issue (getting charged for two months when they’ve already been paid with bank statements to prove it). Was the receiver off hook tone a steady medium pitch sound that goes like a horn? I was asking because I was reading something that all telephone exchanges had that sound for the ROH tone. There was one like that ast Concord Telephone Exchange Inc. in Farragut Tn.
During our quarantine when COVID hit I had to start teaching from home. My internet connection was not good enough to support that. I know STE was swamped at that time but they got out here as quickly as they could to upgrade my internet. Thanks STE!
Had the service for 3 days, service went out, and I got ran around loops and given a ticket number. Probably the worst internet provider out here as far as quality goes. Just wrap a macaroni noodle in tin foil and put it in the window, you’ll get better internet service.
