Wisconsin Department of Revenue Reviews ( 16 )

  1. Racketeering at it’s finest they told me they didn’t know I submitted a amended return I had to call in and explain to them. Just another government mob.

  2. They took my stimmy!!!…….Out of all the times to take money, they somehow take money from your bank account when you need it the most!!! Taking money from the unemployed during this pandemic is reprehensible!!!

  3. I owed taxes which I considered a large amount, they went above and beyond to assist me with a payment plan that worked for me and were extremely friendly in doing so. I couldn’t ask for more from a government agency, thank you!

  4. I received a voicemail without them saying my name or a reason for the call, had to return the call and give my social initially, and then again to the person who picked up. They said they didn’t have a reason for the initial call. Really left me with a bad feeling, like I got my identity stolen just now.

  5. Had a citation that never appeared on my record and after a year it pops up and I get a notice in the mail. I go and pay per the letters recommended method. A month later I get the same letter only a larger fine for failing to pay. This is the government we deal with, pay up or they have the right to lock you in a cage.

  6. People working there are knowledgeable and helpful but the system is beyond redemption. Im laid off from covid and after spending a month trying to find my last paycheck i was told they were allowed to take 100% of last paycheck for debts. …

  7. Knowing people are struggling for money they took every penny out of my account for a tax return I did not file. They didn’t even have a number for the fee amount. Just said they take all the money out of your account as a one time fee? …

  8. 0 STARS! Since moving to this state YEARS ago they force me to provide tons of information proving that my kids are actually mine year after year as if a birth certificate and SS cards are not enough proof. They then change my filing status …

  9. I launched an LLC late last year as a side hustle and got the dreaded “Notice of Estimated Tax Due” letter in the mail early this year. (100% my fault; lesson learned– file early next time) …

  10. After “adjusting” my tax return several times since I filed in April, and receiving several notices that despite said adjustments, I’m all paid up and owe nothing, I just received a bill for almost $625, postmarked August 18, 2022, …

  11. If only I could give them 0 stars. They’re charging my parents $510 extra for late filing, negligence and all that other stuff they can think of. English isn’t my parents’ first language and so I helped my dad file an extension through …
