  1. This hospital has the rudest most unknowledgeable staff I have ever had the misfortune of having to deal with.I would not suggest going there from know on I will just have to travel outside of the county for medical needs!!!

  2. ER front office and triage nurses where nice the Dr presented himself as a jerk who didnt have time to wait for full details on a 8 yr old who is in pain not worth a 30 min drive to be treated worse then gateway or blanchfield would

  9. I had to bring my son in to the er for a fall. It took two hours just to him a room, 3 for x-rays and here it is four hours later and we’re still here with no results. Worst experience there ever. Next time I’ll pass this place right up.

  10. Avoid this place at all costs they have the nickname of death crest for a reason staff will do the bare minimum treat you like garbage then charge you for doing absolutely nothing.

  11. I will never step foot back inside Tennova(gateway) as long as I have Northcrest Medical Center this is the best hospital that acts like a clinic. They get you in and out, if you need an ultrasound they bring the equipment to your room.

  12. I have lived in Springfield my entire life, and I must say that most of the experiences my family has had at this Hosptial is bad. When both of my grandfathers had heart attacks, my family wanted to transfer them to Vanderbilt in Nashville, …

  13. I had a dangerous allergic reaction today. I went to the ER and had to take my 3 kids with me. The staff and medical personnel were absolutely amazing. This will definitely be my first choice in my area.

  14. Literally have been here a few times, last time sat for 5 hours to figure out what I had, and i had a second opinion and they don’t do thorough checks. Pediatric nurse told me something way different from Northcrest which Northcrest was wrong. Today nurse staff was rude and haven’t been checked on in 2 hours

  15. Child with burst appendix. They couldn’t figure out what was wrong and sent him to Vanderbilt. It was gangrene. Why would any of you go to this hospital? I’d rather die than go there.

  16. Had the worst experience with the ER department! sorry shall I say with Nurse Shannon Davis. I get ppl have bad days but this lady is a poor asset to this hospital! Nurses like her is why NorthCrest has a bad reputation. Will never come back here unless it against my will!

  17. Would not recommend. They left me a voicemail and asked me call back. I called back 3 times and left two voicemails to never get any response or call back. Awful service, people are super rude. Every clerk was playing on the phone. No one was helpful. I will not be returning.

  18. Go to the Walk-in office or Dr. Rainwaters’ office, and you will experience some of the rudest unprofessional ghetto/country folks in Springfield…They verbally abuse patients, talk about people, and they dont have your information right …

  19. I am in pain all the time. I have been referred to Northcrest Rheumatology. It is going on a month and half now. I keep being told they have not received my records, so I can set up apt (which have been sent twice). Was also told even when I am able to set apt, it wouldn’t be until May.

  20. They took a lot of short cuts with my daughter when she had my granddaughter could have lost the baby. Baby ended up at Vanderbilt 2 weeks but thankfully the baby is fine and healthy now.

  21. There is a reason they used to call this hospital DEATHCREST. They had diagnosed me with a blood clot (DVT) and they said it was old. They sent me home and told me to follow up with my primary doctor. Went to my primary care doctor and she …

  22. We live in Clarksville Tn. Tennova is awful. They did nothing to help my daughter who is pregnant and went for what she thought was flu. They told her to go home and “feel like poop” for a week or two. My son is an advanced EMT and only …

  24. ER staff works quickly and they are very friendly. I have been there twice and have been in and out with great treatment in a timely manner, even though the first time, they were very busy. Very clean facility.

  25. Momma had little Ruby-doobie-doo in Northcrest’s maternity ward four weeks ago tonight. It’s all a blur to me now, as we’re massively sleep-deprived a month on with this little bundle o’ feedme… But, it’s this simple: I’m certain that …

  26. As a paramedic I can tell you this is one of the best small hospitals in Tennessee. They have excellent ER and ICU staff. They almost never have to transfer a patient to a larger hospital in Nashville. They can take care of just about anything, including most cardiac and most stroke patients

  27. We have been in the ER for 5 hours today with my pregnant daughter who has a kidney stone. Waiting on results and no one has even offered her water. She cannot pee and that is very very concerning. It’s pathetic.

  35. care and personal so far have great, now, MY GOD, streamline that patient registration process. I’ve been sitting here 25 minutes to get a blood draw, with the same people sitting in the same room still (to register I mean). I should note I think it may be an SOP problem. Everyone was very nice. I was very sick, so a ‘bit’ touchy

  36. You never know what kind of treatment that you will get at the hospital. I was doubled over in pain. They gave me morphine and a CAT scan while I was there and told me to take Tylenol at home. I ended up going to a different hospital the …

  54. I had an appointment at 10:00 to have a heart scan but they started a biopsy in the room for heart scans at 10:00. Is that the only room you could do a biopsy in???? Because it’s the only room for a heart scan… These people just don’t …

  55. This place is a joke. Instead of sending you a bill for the remainder of a balance after you’ve had a procedure done, they will send you straight to a debt collector. After I paid my deductible from my insurance, I didn’t think I owed …

  68. Absolutely received quality care from the CCU unit and Cardiology department. The nurses treated me more like family than a patient. Not one encounter of less than quality patient care did I receive while being a patient of Northeast Medical Center Springfield TN.

  69. Went there and they got all my paperwork wrong because nobody wanted to do their job. Took 3 hours to do a simple 5 minute ultra sound. Just lazy incompetent people. Go somewhere else if you can and save yourself the headache.

This place is a joke. We left to get help at another hospital! It seems that NorthCrest’s nick name of Death Crest is highly appropriate.

  83. This was my third time trying to come in for my yearly mammogram.

  97. Horrible place. I am new to Tennessee moving from California. Experience was worst Healthcare in My 56 years of life. Emergency room was entertaining, but once you get to the second floor prepare to have the worst nursing care ever. My advice to my ownself would have been to drive to Nashville.

  104. Something needs to change with the check-in process for the insurance part. No one should have to wait 30+ minutes to get checked in when there’s 4 clerks — they spend more time going back and forth between each other’s offices or up front …

  105. Had a crush injury to my finger and they treated me terribly. Doubted my claims and acted as if my injury didn’t matter to them at all.Treated me like I was a drug seeker when I didn’t want any pills to begin with. This is the last place on earth I would ever want to go to.

  106. I was taken by ambulance to ER, I had a great nurse, but the other staff not so much, I was treated rude, and I kept asking to see the doc. Before they sent me hope and the girl said she’s already discharged you. So she’s not coming back …

  109. If you live in Clarksville, save yourself the headache and drive 40 minutes here, it really seems like they care here, made my wife feel as comfortable as possible and also made me feel comfortable waiting for her surgery to complete. Something people of Clarksville aren’t used to.

  115. Only had one test and labs. Everything was great, people pleasant no waiting. However, every six months, my doctor has to request lab results when it plainly says who ordered them. 123. I don’t like this hospital. My insurance had lapsed and since I didn’t have insurance. They didn’t want to see me. They tested me for the flu and covid and then sent me on the way. I had bad congestion and coughing a lot. I had to go to another hospital to get further treatment. I wouldn’t highly recommend this hospital.

  124. My surgeon was great, recovery was attentive. After an overnight stay I should not have been discharged. There was an issue with BP that I kept mentioning.

  125. My time at Northcrest was excellent care, the nurses and technicians did what needed to be done with professionalism. I was able to get better and go home, I think the Dr. and staff was great. much love to them. //////////// Nathan J McDuffey

  129. Everything about mine and my mom’s experience was wonderful. However, there’s always a few bad apples in the bunch and that was the case with one of the nurses we had. Other than that, I’d definitely choose NorthCrest for my hospital needs again in the future.

  130. The staff were very nice and took great care of me. They answered all my questions and were very patient. The facility is very clean and well taken care of. I will definitely trust them with any future emergencies.

  131. I was hospitalized there 5 November 2022- 12 November 2022. I was in room 215 with an infection of the right index finger which spread up my arm and required two surgeries on my finger & one on right forearm. Everyone I came in contact with was exceptional.
