I’m posting from an ex employee view point. They had a rough year financially so they fired many employees to balance their budget.
This facility is awful. We were here for over 3 hours waiting for my friend to get in a ROOM!!! She was left in the HALLWAY for hours!!! We were given very little information and weren’t even able to see her.
Daughter went here for gallbladder pain, did absolutely nothing, go to St. Mary’s and save yourself time and suffering.
I thought the nurses and all the staff were very helpful and very caring. Way above my expectations.
From emergency to surgery… this hospital was the best at everything… great communication and assistance with every aspect of our visit.

My elderly Parents were left outside by themselves (my mom, and dad in a wheelchair and vomiting out in the emergency room parking lot while me and my sister were getting the car to pick them up). This was 4:00 am, my Mom is 83 and Dad is 85. This happened on 9/6/15.
Worst hospital experience EVER. This is by far the most unorganized facility I have come upon. I do not understand how this hospital is still open, now maybe the other sectors are better but I most definitely do not recommend coming here for labor and delivery. Northside was by far a more pleasant experience.

The service is great but they will get the every penny you have. My insurance paid the correct amount but they want me to pay even the write-off amount since my deductible was already met. Think twice before you go there.

Hospital denies my financial aid bc I didn’t submit something they never asked for… I would do $1 a month for the next 2,000 months but the min to pay by phone is $10. The nursing care was fantastic. The doctors however failed to communicate with me and my family. They made changes to my medications without explaining why.
Fantastic staff, but the dietary department is awful, I needed a special diet and what they served I wouldn’t feed to my. dogs. I complained, the nurses intervened, the Dr. spoke with them, I decided the only way to eat was to have my sister bring in food.
It was okay I just had a lot going on and I lost my my nerves and had to refind them again. They real good people and good to talk to you when they have time to talk to you. Walton county is a good place I lived there all my life until some months back but I am even happier where I am at now. Keep up the good work.

I go past a hospital and drive 20 extra minutes to go to Athens Regional when I can. They have saved my life twice and their patient services have always been good for me.
