The options are leave your house unlocked and empty all day or be at home for 8+ hours. Even if the confirmation email says you don’t need to be present, you do. After a missed appointment, next available service date is days later. Disappointed enough to write a review.
I have to give TGS some credit. I recently moved to a non-TGS area and our new gas carrier stinks (ATMOS Energy cough cough). In my opinion, the ccf rates were fair. I never had a problem with TGS. I may even of been a day late here and there. No problems. I never heard from TGS which is a good thing.
Called and asked for a more concrete time besides 8am-5pm for service technician. Found out we were the last stop of the day after he showed up right before 5. That would’ve been nice to know, but I guess they prefer to waste the customer’s time.
It is absurd in the age of electronics and communications, that people have to stay home all day waiting for a 6 minutes service.
