I’m considering local credit unions, but the reviews posted here do not convince me that the Ventura County Credit Union would be a good choice. If it takes several days to credit an account for a deposit, this is a bank that belongs somewhere in the early 20th-century.

My only two complaints would be the inconvenience hours of operation. It is frustrating that you close at 5 when a large majority of your clients hours of work are the same as VCCU. Please don’t mention your online banking or app because they both are not user friendly. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS FANTASTIC!!!!

Awful. They will try to charge upu for making you stiff even if you don’t use there accounts. They also aim to have a 24 hour number and they do not. It just hangs up on you. U professional, incompetent, ridiculous, juvenile, pathetic.
It is a great credit union. I saved a lot of money through very low interest rates on an auto loan and I don’t have the greatest credit score. Wells Fargo offered me16.99% APR and VCCU offered me 4%
