They dont call and let you know they are extanding your power outage at least another 3hrs. Meanwhile your house is losing heat and your adult handicapped child is panicking that we’ll freeze…
Fir 46 years we have received excellent service with almost no outages and even those few were shirt lived.
Helpful people everywhere. Great information and always willing to answer questions and find solutions. Never said that about a power company before. Much more than. Just a power company.
Thankful I’ve had no power disruptions. Could do more to assist seniors on fixed income.
They charged me $600 when I left them because I was using the average payment plan. unresponsive to all emails, phone calls, and snail mail. BBB can’t touch them because they are a co-op.
Moved here from Nodaway County and Evergy one year ago. Not a single outage since moving here on 7/!/2020. Evergy can’t say that! …
We’ve lived north of Trimble for almost 15 years, and the one time we had an outage, it only lasted for 30 minutes. Keep up the great work, PCEC!
We’ve never had a problem with any service requests and outages have been few and short. All other contact has been excellent.

This co-op is a joke. These people are incredibly difficult to work with and they are very inflexible with payment arrangements of any sort. Behind on your bill? Too bad, so sad. They give you VERY little notice before shutting off service …

Platte-Clay has wonderfully reliable and cost effective electricity. I really like the help they (Dave) supplies in making our home more energy efficient. We all need to work to use less energy.
We’ve been customers since 2005 and are very happy with PCEC. Very happy with their customer service. We’ve only lost power a few times and have no complaints at all. Keep up the good work!
