We pay you dividends instead of paying stockholders like other corporations do. Our board of directors are volunteers that are voted for by you! This means they make decisions to help our members instead of filling their pockets. You are a member-owner, so you get to vote and have a say in how the credit union functions.

  1. Terrible experience, they are never available, hike your payments without notice, then they feed you one lie after another lie after another lie. CANNOT BE TRUSTED

  2. Terrible company they can’t even answer the phone very unprofessional . It’s verY inconvenient in fact it’s almost a scam. The associate failed to inform of the correct direct deposit information now I have to wait 5-10 business for my check .

MY HUSBAN HAS BEEN A MEMBER FOR OVER 30 YEARS AND THE TREAT HIM LIKE A KING, THIS IS MY FIRST TIME USING ENERGY CAPITAL AND I FEEL LIKE A QUEEN WITH THE SEVICE I JUST RECIEVED.

  4. Haven’t been a member quite 1 month and already experienced horrible customer service. I wish I would have done my research before I signed up. It will either get better or I’ll find the right one.

  5. I-45 North location is closed due to flooding from Hurricane Harvey and they are now refusing to waive online or phone payment fees. They seriously need to upgrade their online banking functions. It’s the 21st century and online payments are the norm, they should be free. I will never fiance anything with them again.

  6. They have horrible customer service. They expect you to know that they don’t communicate between departments. They could add notes to your account, so that they can inform you of changes or critical information regardless of who you talk to. I will never be using them again! And hope others don’t either.

  7. Terrible customer service. They ask you to email documents to a shared email account and every time I have done that, my documents are either lost or do not get actioned. If you call customer service, you will spend a minimum of 15 minutes on hold. Their website is difficult to use as well.

  11. Not a very pleasant experience overall. The website is very clunky – It’s difficult to navigate, and I’ve had to reset my password multiple times. It is a credit union, so often you can get lower rates, and it may be worth it, but be prepared for frustrations

  14. This has been the worse banking experience EVER!!!!! I can not seem to grasp why it is so hard for me to get my own damn money or even talk to an actual person on the phone. Going in to one of the Houston locations was an overall ok experience because the teller was nice even though she couldn’t answer any of my questions!!

  18. Never answer the phone. Tried at least 10 times and held for over 15 mins each time before giving up. And $10 charge to make a payment on a loan is ridiculous. Will refinance with reputable bank as soon as possible.

  19. 0 stars if I could!! WHY is it soooo hard to make a payment?!!? When I first started my auto loan, they didn’t even have online payment system set up yet- in the year 2016. And calling on to pay over the phone?! Be ready to waste 30 minutes of your time. Today- I keep getting hung up on from the waiting line.
