Customer service in this place is trash…just called and the person was very rude and hung up on me without even helping me resolve my issue. People that don’t want to work…
I went there shortly after my accident I was so terrified that I was going to be blind at the rest of my life the doctor told me to grow a pair I will never go back there as long as I live
They have the best Eye Doctors in various category here. I believe one of the best in the country. Being here, and all staff and management are excellent.
What a horrible experience! Very unorganized, very rude and forget about calling to make an appointment! Come on…this is Philadelphia, we are better than this!
I would not recommend this hospital to anyone. They keep patients in memory for hours. very slow progressing examination procedures. very fake hospital
The guy in the optical shop, Jerry, sounds like a bigot against women. He called me the worst misogynist slur, “dear” just to make himself feel important. Men who insult women to feel powerful are pathetic. Just say “miss” or “ma’am.”
Very poor workmanship. The person that did my glasses messed up. They would not return my money. Not helpful at all. I now have glasses i cannot see with.
In all honesty this place is a joke. The wait times are a joke. They don’t answer the phone. They didn’t call back in case if an emergency. It’s all really stupid
The wait time in the ER is an absolute disgrace!! I gave it a one star but it really doesn’t deserve any stars. A 5 hr wait and still wasn’t seen by a doctor.
Wills Eye hospital a terrible place to be, and man trust me you’ll be there pass your appointment time. Damn I should’ve work there lol I mean come on 10 hrs of waiting time😠 it’s ridiculous. …
I came to WillsEye Glaucoma because of my mother who was diagnose with Glaucoma. We have been sitting in the waiting room since 1pm and it is now 355pm wait to see an eye doctor.
Dr. Shields and Lalley are incredible. Their knowledge and thoroughness is world class. I wish I didn’t have to be a patient but extremely greatfull that I had the best care available.
Had an appt at 1030 and still waiting after 2 hours to be told they don’t know when my grandson will be seen . I told the day off to bring my grandson. May be if they had to pay me for my day he would of been seen at 1030
Play is a joke.
I just wanted to ask if my insurance was accepted I was put on hold for an hour then they picked up and without saying anything disconnected the line. I tried again later and the same thing happened bad very bad …
I don’t understand why they schedule appointments if they can’t keep them. My appointment was 40 minutes ago and where still waiting. Hopefully they see us within the next hour I drove 1 hour 15 minutes to get here. On top of that they only give you 15% off on parking. They shouldn’t even charge for parking.
Never never go there. Unresponsibilty Carol and sara made a eye blind to my son…god damn it all.not best it is worst. If u ok willsblind Not willseye .carol u have 7 children ı wish they will be bilnd with you. Amen !
Was told BEFORE I took my son there that they did take his insurance, ONLY to be billed after going there twice, and getting tests done that they DONT take his insurance. Been getting billed for over a year now, and countless phone calls, they still say its UNDER REVIEW! What a joke!
Great Dr’s and a pleasant staff.. If you have a appointment be prepared for a long wait.. Went there at 8am and didn’t leave till 1pm. Need more Dr’s.. And the place could use a painting.
This place has TERRIBLE time management. My grandma with diabetes and is 80 years old, was scheduled to meet at 2:00pm. She got there around one and has not eaten and barely drank anything. It is now 9:36 pm and is still waiting for the surgery!!!!
Good doctors, absolutely terrible customer service and VERY unorganized. The uncaring of the staff permeates the entire hospital. Long waits and delays for everything!
Wills Eye Hospital to me is one of the best eye hospitals in the Nation. With the Grace of God and Wills Eye knowledge they helped me see again. 35 years ago for a Torn Macula in my left eye. And October 27th 2015 for a Detached Retina & …
Doctor was great, The wait wasn’t too long, nurses were okay but my only issue is when they were doing an eye exam with my 4year old son and asked my son to identify certain numbers he couldn’t and one of the nurses looked at Me and said …
The worse experience ever! At least 35-40 people standing around (not enough seats), waiting to be seen by an optometrist…totally unacceptable! UGHHH!!!! Appt May 24; 9:45am 12:00pm; still 6 people ahead of me
The people and Wills Eye made a miracle and made my wife see again she was blind and now she can see the people in Wills Eye are very friendly and very helpful God bless them all
Blow out fracture had surgery last year in July. My eye is still swollen and have Enophthalmos. seen another Oculoplastics surgeon and is gonna fix it. I cried waiting for 3 hrs one time. At this office after a year i would never refer this doctor.
Amazing place and great staff, Dr. Levin and his team were able to give us more answers in 2 hours than we have gotten in the last 8 months. The doctor and his team were extremely patient and thorough.
Love Dr.Carol Shields and Sarah Lally. Recommended from every eye specialist that me or my friends know. Amazing treatment and care. Been coming for 5 years, hope to still be doing so for many more.
Great service a little slow,I had cataract surgery yesterday May 17, 2019 waiting to get my second eye done. Definitely going back! Great hospital AA++
the unfriendly people are gone now, and have been replaced by friendly caring people, that is what we found here at wills eye hospital center city Philly. we drove over 700 miles to come here, and if I found unfriendly people, well I …
I love my cornea specialist. He’s very easy to talk with & ask questions, and he’s 1 of only 2 surgeon’s in the tri-state area who performs the surgery I need.
Visited the institute for right eye faulted view (1989), resultingly showing that to be a macula degeneration; thanks to the care, diagnosis and advices guiding me in the rest of my life, hoping to pay there an other visit after that many …
Thank you, Drs. Jenkins and Chen. I hope I spelled your names right – and also many thanks to the intake registrar and triage nurse. EVERYONE I encountered went out of their way to be warm and welcoming and make me feel comfortable. I knew I was in the right place and felt a lot of trust for delicate eye diagnostics.
They were great! They saw me promptly and had excellent bedside manner. My only criticism is that it being a teaching institution, I wound up being seen by a lot of people, all of whom put more drops in my eyes. All said and done though it was a good experience.
Triage nurse was nice, Doctors are Ok. However, the Filipino women at Registration was very rude and highly niave. She asked me if I was working and I reposned no then asked if I was a student and I said I recently graduated. Then got the nerve to say your not working yet? Thats none of her business. What a piece of crap!
Every time I come, I wait for 30-40 minutes just to go back to another waiting area, then wait more, then go into a patient room to wait more. I’m switching doctors. This is ridiculous. Don’t take patients if you don’t actually have the time or room for them in the schedule.
This hospital is the worst. Its empty, but yet you wait for no apparent reason. Its ridiculous!!! I swear they’re back there eating and taking naps. Extremely inefficient. They see people out of order and apparently it takes the entire …
Follow up surgical appointment here. Temperature check and hand sanitizer available at entrance. Doctors office is CDC compliant. All staff and patients are masked.

Thank you Dr. Carrasco, you are a brilliant surgeon. Had strabismis surgery 2 weeks ago and she knew exactly where to suture the muscle on the first attempt. Imagine going into the O.R. with double vision and then awaking to one image. …
This is a very busy office. I think some people do not realize, like in my experience, that various suburban area hospitals do not have the proper eye doctors on staff in their ER. This means that every time there is an eye injury in the …
Quality of service 5 stars. Wait time 1 star. Doctors and most staff very friendly. Most negative reviews are about wait time. Their motto should be. We test patients or patience
Went to the general eye care clinic. The receptionist don’t greet you or explain to you as to what to do. I found a sign in board and sign in. We sat in the waiting room for 2 hours, I asked what was going on and they said we didn’t sign …
Child had an appointment at 9am still over an hour and have yet to be seen, which has made me miss her next appointment. Everyone that came in after us was called to the back. Only to find out that my child doctor came in late, So they said.
The people who work the front desk and the phone are DISGRACEFUL and DISRESPECTFUL. I spoke to this lady Pat on the phone and she was getting upset because she could not type fast and decided to tell me “I should get a job here because I …

HAVENT SEEN THE DOCTOR YET. SHOOT CAN BARELY SEE TYPING THIS. BUT THE FRONT DESK PEOPLE ARE ABSOLUTELY REPULSIVE. THEY TALK OVER YOU WHICH IS THE RUDEst thing you can do. Wait your turn. Dont even wait your turn, simply LISTEN. MY EYE IS …
Good luck getting someone on the phone. And once you do, they tell you when your appointment is rather than ask when you want to come in. This happens every time I call to make an appointment. Also I have to clear my schedule for the whole day because the wait is horrendous.
have been waiting in the Occularplastic office on floor 9 , for 1 1/2 hr, 1 hr and 15 past my appointment- and the dr and staff are in the back talking and laughing – WHY???? no explanation!!! Long story short: appt time 3:45pm – left 6:10pm without being seen and assaulted by staff on the way out!!! STAY AWAY!!!
Called to schedule an appt the receptionist was very rude and hung up on me out of frustrations. When I called back to speak with the manager he tried to make excuses For her behavior. I work in a hospital with very sick patients and know …
Excellent medical care. Terrible management! The extremely LONG wait time and lack of communication abou
t the dreadfully long wait make patients anxious and angry necessarily…
The best doctors and the nurses and assistants were the most attentive and thorough. I was made comfortable, reassured and all my questions answered courteous. Could not possibly ask for more. Highly recommend this hospital for all eye problems.
I just had the pleasure of visiting Drs. Adam Debusk and Dr. A. Srinivasan and their office staff. Very little wait time for this level of expertise. From front desk experience (welcoming and friendly) to thorough examination, to intent …
I came in with an eye injury and the neurologist made a very odd color joke! I wonder if I was a white elderly patient would the joke be as funny or been made at all! Worst service in the city!

Pleasant enough experience with the Dr and the nurse that saw me. It was my first eye exam (I know…i know) and everything went pretty well. I’ll go back again next year when it’s time.
I really don’t understand how is it that having an appoinment, you could last 2 hours and 45 mins before the doctor see you. This is insane why, that is why people make an appoinment before coming in. I can understand that you have to wait …
Horrible service, for out of pocket, cash patient, inquired prior to visit, at the visit, if any additional charges and was assured and re-assured no additional charges, turned out at least 2 other bills, one from the physician’s portion of …
This is for customer service only not the eye care received. When I recently called to make an appointment, the receptionist was very rude and not compassionate or caring about my situation. I have had an eye injury 2 years ago and have …
It really is a shame!! My doctor was great but the communication between staff and patients is terrible. What is the point of making a scheduled appointment if is going to take over 2.5 hours to finally be seen. I ended up walking out because I had to get back to work.
I suffered an eye injury 14yrs ago (hit with a heavy metal chain) and when I say these folks did an amazing job, that is an understatement! I had a detached retina and a damaged lens. It was very difficult dealing with this injury but the …
This place is both the best and the worst. Really good doctors that seem to be able to fix anything. However, I’ve never been there without at least a one hour wait. We specifically make appointments as early as possible yet we wait for an …

Dr. Rebecca Russ Soares, M.D., MPH, was amazing, her bedside manner was impeccable, one of the most professional, caring and companionate doctors I’ve ever met. She saw me right away, same day as I called within an hour. Wills is run …
I’m sure Wills Eye helps many people with their medical issues, unfortunately, they did not help me. It was hands down the most frustrating, uncomfortable, and inconsiderate ophthalmologist experience I’ve ever had. I waited a total of 3 …

My son was diagnosed with retinal detachment. He was scheduled to see Dr Carol Shields. I am a physician in practice currently. The experience was unacceptable from rude staff to “frightened” students, residents and fellows so anxious about …
Dr. DeBenedictis did a fantastic job on my eye. She performed in depth tests to identify the problem and answered all of my questions fully. I was fully comfortable going into surgery and the recovery was quick. Her staff was kind and professional, and I fully recommend her and Wills eye to future patients.
They have bad attitudes and are extremely slow. Have I mentioned, they can see you in line at the front desk and will not direct you where you need to sign in … WHERE are the signs !? Let’s assume the customer service head is out for the …
I’ll make my review shorter than before… The people that work there or awesome but unfortunately I guess they use a lot of medical students and interns so collectively as a whole they need to learn how to be in communication with each …

While visiting the Wills Eye Clinic, I was greeted by miserable receptionists. They would not make eye contact nor were professional, and asking a question was like pulling teeth. I waited over 5 hours including being seen quickly by Dr. …
The wait times are extremely long. Although I don’t like long waiting times, that’s par for the course for any specialist. I found the front desk staff to be unpleasant. …
Each patient is expected to wait more than 2 hours to see doctor. It doesn’t matter if your eyes are in pain and your vision goes blind. Staff seems comfortable to let you wait! …

I was treated there in the emergency room. Yes, I had to wait, but it was totally worth it to be able to see a specialist. The medical experience I had was excellent. And it was not as long a wait as my husband had in the eye emergency room …
Gave a small child a late appointment took the child back an hour after the scheduled appointment time. Sat another hour waiting for “giggle juice” (midazolam). The timing here is very poor. They do not care if a child hasn’t eaten in …
Obviously the only hospital in Philadelphia to treat certain rare eye disorders. However boomer management styles make this place a sensory nightmare for my level one autism. I have to use coping skills every time I go here. It is like stepping back in time. Please modernize.
2nd time I have had appointment scheduled for 9am and they don’t call you back for over 4 HOURS. Receptionists are terrible and don’t communicate at all. Gross old waiting room with disgusting bathrooms. If I was a doctor here I’d be ashamed of my workplace
The wait time in this place is a disgrace. Why schedule a 9:00 appointment when they constantly overbook. I’ve been here 2 1/2 hours and still waiting for my child to be seen. This facility should not be allowed to run this place the way …
Impossible to make an appointment — no one answers the phone, or put on hold for 30 minutes only to reach someone’s voicemail. Left multiple messages & no one calls back. Called the emergency hotline on behalf of a friend, and again…sent to voicemail.
First of all the doctors are phenomenal. If not for them this would be a one star review. My wife had a 8:15 AM follow up appt on 6/19/18 in the oncology dept. We arrived at 8:00 AM. After the computer check in we sat at 8:13 AM and we sat …
I just wish they had better accommodations for people in wheelchairs, Inside the exam rooms. Not everyone is able to hop up onto those chairs, but it seems as though the equipment doesn’t come low enough for the patients face.
While I have no issue with the docs I have seen at Willa Eye, the patient check-in and administration is complete chaos! Managing appointments too difficult and time in the waiting room horrendous . I left and demanded a refund of my copay …

Wrote twice in three weeks to schedule an appointment and no one contacted me. This is insane. I wrote and told them the problems I was having as well. For a large hospital I cannot believe they cannot contact you back.
what’s the purpose of giving people an appointment and you can’t respect it. we have our job if I schedule and I am there in the time than I have to wait an hour or more to be seen. it’s simply ridiculous.
Have been coming to this hospital for over 20 years. It was first for my father who had Glaucoma. Dr. Katz treated him for years as a friend. There’s no better doctor than him. More recently he performed cataract surgery in both my eyes a …

Went to the emergency area today. I have never received better care. They were fast to get me registered, through the initial exam and the detailed exam that followed; polite; knowledgeable; professional and thorough. It was simply fantastic from start to finish.
Although the doctors and staff are skilled, the whole situation with the waiting was insane. Our first appointment was for an eye exam & to see Dr Shields, unfortunately scheduled on a day when the doctor was at a conference. What if we’d …

Very rude staff when there but then missed an appointment due to an emergency and was told not to go back there. Things happen, life happens, a little more consideration and understanding perhaps.

I heard so many good things about this eye center, but I am schocked by the customer services. To make an appointment went through the online process, entering a lot of information and, in a few days, received a voice mail asking to call …
So ridiculous. Trying to call this place is insane. Also I waited one hour only to find out that they booked me with the wrong doctor when I repeatedly mentioned that I needed to make an appointment with the contact lenses’ office. The ophthalmologist was incredibly helpful but the problem is the call center and front desk.
We drove 2 hours with an emergency. Upon arrival, the wait is ridiculous. Sitting with dilated pupils for 3 hours is unacceptable. The triage nurse took one hour to assess and there is no sense of urgency from ANY of the staff. Very disappointing experience and quite surprised they are rated as high as they are.

Long wait always. Feels like they call people that came after you.
Nice doctors though. Seems like a very nice teaching hospital. Some of the front desk people are exceptionally friendly, helpful, and nice, but a few of them seem a little rude. Still, a decent experience overall.
Unprofessional! UNDERSTAFFED ! I’ve came in at 930 and I’ve been waiting for 4 hours ! It’s now 1:30 and I have yet to be seen. And they close at 430. 8 hours waiting period. Don’t waist your time and money . Appointments don’t matter . You will still be waiting. Super unprofessional .
I have been taking my daughter to the pediatric and corneal department for the past seven years.
Today I called and had THE MOST WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE for the first time. I …
I had an early morning appointment. Checking in was smooth and on time. The staff was friendly. The doctor and resident were top notch. It’s a smoothly run office
Went in yesterday for a consultation for eye surgery. From my experience I am hesitant to proceed forward. Some of the staff was very rude. I don’t know if it was just this particular day or time. But the staff should be more sensitive to the professional they are in .
I just had cataract surgery in April of 2021 and they put a new lens in. I absolutely love them and they did a great job. However, if you want to be acknowledged then their will be issues. I was 21 years old at the time and had my spouse …

Retina Department. If you have an appointment scheduled be prepared to wait 2-4 hours before you’re seen by a doctor. Been here five times for an eye problem I was having and it’s the same every time, hours long wait for 10-15 minutes with the doctor. The people are nice but the system/process they have set up is atrocious.
Waited an hour past our appointment time for my daughter. They just took someone else in and we didn’t want to wait another half hour more. I asked what was going on and the receptionist said they had to overbook for today since the doctor …

The blonde front desk woman was very rude and dismissive when asked simple questions. Was given half information in regards to picking up my medicine/where to get it from since I’m not from here. Maybe they should work on making sure patients are properly being dealt with rather than rushing thru just to clear the waiting room.
– Call the first time, “the lady” of the call center hang up in the middle of nowhere.
– Call the second time, “the lady” booked me with the appointment on Saturday, …
Wait is eternal. Usually 3 or more hours just for follow up exams. Doctor spends 15 minutes with you.

This place gives me vertigo everytime i go here for an appointment. The windows are all glass and the dept i go to is on the 12th floor. I am literally terrified of heights. It would be nice if they could make a dept closer to the ground. The wait time here is awful. 3 and a half hours.

Wills eye was the best of the best, once upon a time. I don’t know if the issue is poor office management, or greed. Waiting 2 plus hours to be seen is unacceptable. Stop over scheduling, bring on more staff, do something! We have to be here every 4 weeks, I can’t take it anymore.
I drive from NJ to Philly just to see a cornea specialist here. They know what they are doing. I’ve seen many doctors during my recovery process after a 2nd degree chemical and great burn to my eye. The staff had y always been courteous and …

This is a good place for the specialist that are needed, but when you have 30 people crammed into a small waiting room and your appt was an hour and ½ ago and your still waiting, that kinda minimizes the work that is done. The front girl also has such a BLAH attitude, that just makes it more frustrating and dull.
This place is terrible and should be shut down. They stack appointments on top of each other and blame it on emergencies that they cannot control. I took my grand father for 3 straight appointments traveling 2 hours away to get to Wills eye and sat in a waiting room for 3-4 hours each appointment.
I would not recommend to anyone. I felt like it was rude for the dr to have to dilate my eyes two times in one day. Very unsatisfying , the dr did not even tell me I had the medicine stuck in my eyes. So rude.
Same issue again and again, and they don’t seem to care. Another appointment time came and went. Finally saw a nurse SIX HOURS after the appointment time. Ridiculous wait times, quite disgraceful actually. This place needs to be managed better. If it were any other type of business, they would not be in business. Sad.
After reading the reviews here I was really worried about going to Wills Eye but decided to take a shot. I was very happy with the care I was given. The wait time was very reasonable and the waiting room was fine. The administration seemed …
Good hospital but lots of patients in a waiting area. Please be ready for at least 2-3 hours for routine eye exam .if you need more tests, obviously ready to spend more time, …
The doctors are excellent but the service is horrible. I never seen a hospital charge so much for parking. I had to pay $33 and that was with validation discount. Wow they only gave me a $6 discount. That is so sad how they’re over charging …
We went into the ER for my fiance, who had an inflamed right eye that was not getting better. It was a decent amount of wait time, but the nurses and physician’s were great when she was seen. …

Very good service
One of the best eye hospitals in the world!
The place to go for the highest level of care for your eyes!
very nice staff with quality services. strongly recommend~!
Disgusting 3 hr wait messy zero stars every time
The wait was long but you can’t beat the doctors.
One of the best eye hospitals in the nation and a great staff
Long wait to see doctor and that’s with an Appt or a time slot- horribly insufficient.
Average waiting time is 5 hours. Very disorganized.
The Best Eye Hospital in Philadelphia !
Will never go back the worse
Great pediatric services for eyes disease. Dr Levin is wonderful !!!
The best eye hospital in pa
Ok
Not accommodating to people out of state at all.
The worst place ever appointment was at 915an it’s now 2pm and still waiting
Worst staff ever rude pushy not at all welcoming act like their doing me a favor instead of paying for service with private insurance not public
Awesome nurses great hospital room and the best Dr’s ever
Fantastic hosp
They are very good and I feel a lot better just want to know how them
Doesn’t matter when you go. Emergency room empty and you will still sit here for hours. People are so slow
Thanks for the referral to Dr Francis Clark.
I am so finally happy with my eye care.
Customer service in this place is trash…just called and the person was very rude and hung up on me without even helping me resolve my issue. People that don’t want to work…
They have always taken good care of my dad here.
Need to improve on wait times 4 hours ++ is not good
I’ve been waiting for hours in the lobby!!
I’d really like to give 0 stars. Waiting 1 hr to be discharged.
Great place don’t know what I would do without them…Dr. Katz is excellent
this place has a name thats all my wait time was terrible staff not very friendly found a new eye doctor will not be going back to this eye center
Horrible and rude staff members they very unprofessional in here on how they treat people
Worst experience i ever had …i thought this place was top doctors…no one knows anything no communication…i would not revcomend
Wonderful place. Kind, helpful and willing to see me with in 3 days.
Walk in, wait a bit, walk out… Kool hangout spot. Do they have a bar somewhere around here??
great staff; they know thier stuff, did not wait long; in & out.
Been goin here for years…n i huv a very good time takin to all the doctors n stuff….they provide excellent service
Terrible wait time with half baked doctors. What waste of time. Am better off diagnosing myself.
DR Regillo and his team are the best
First it took forever and someone came and we came first and they went to the room first and once we took 5 hours to take a test
Avoid Donna at all costs (thank me later). Protect Jennifer at all costs.
Wait time is ridiculously long. I ha e been waiting 2 hours and still haven’t been seen!!!!!!!!!!
I went there shortly after my accident I was so terrified that I was going to be blind at the rest of my life the doctor told me to grow a pair I will never go back there as long as I live
Worst experience! No point in making an appointment because you will not be seen for at least two hours after that. There is no organization!
Rude self entitled administrative staff. They need training in customer service. They need to be taught to be polite and respectful
On my visit the lady at the deck was polite and courtesy. Didn’t need to wait long.
What a view! Feeling close to GOD up here while waiting for answers.
I thought this place was the best…I was so so wrong.
best place around iv had about 15 surgeries here the staff are so nice and caring shout out to Dr. Moster and Dr.Nelson!
The doctors here are simply the best around. Very professional staff. The only place to go for serious eye problems!
Your hospital🏥 look very nice …
Spent hours in the waiting room to be seen. Don’t go here if you have a real emergency. They don’t seem to care much.
They have the best Eye Doctors in various category here. I believe one of the best in the country. Being here, and all staff and management are excellent.
The staffs are nice but how can they forget to perform a surgery ?
They offer state of art eye care, but as with any hospitals, usually lots of waiting and i just had a insurance fiasco.
After 7 months of trying to call them to make an appointment for my infant son, they finally answered. I’m really disappointed in these practices
My Dr was Moster.Rude, patronizing and I have a huge trust issue with him.I would rather go blind. He made a misfortune so much worse.
Describe your Experience – HORRIFIC!
What a horrible experience! Very unorganized, very rude and forget about calling to make an appointment! Come on…this is Philadelphia, we are better than this!
I would not recommend this hospital to anyone. They keep patients in memory for hours. very slow progressing examination procedures. very fake hospital
It is the best eye hospital on the east coast! Know 2 people who would be blind, had they not been treated by the great doctors at Wills Eye Hospital.
Big hospital like this and I can’t get a clear answer on a simple test. Come on guys.
Can’t say enough nice things about them. My soon to be 2 year old had eye surgery there and we had a great experience
I am a patient of Dr.Julia Haller and really liked her services regarding partial Retina detachment. I will highly recommend her for consultation.
The wait time here is outrageous. They say we have 6 doctors but things run quicker at a dollar store in the hood then thos place.
Everyone from the office staff to the nurses to the doctors are rude and cranky. Horrible customer service and bedside manner. Go anywhere but here.
Wills Eye hospital a terrible place to be, and man trust me you’ll be there pass your appointment time. Damn I should’ve work there lol I mean come on 10 hrs of waiting time😠 it’s ridiculous. …
The wait time is incredibly bad, great doctors but this needs order asap, it is very disorganized, they take for ever
I came to WillsEye Glaucoma because of my mother who was diagnose with Glaucoma. We have been sitting in the waiting room since 1pm and it is now 355pm wait to see an eye doctor.
They cancel your appointment and let you know only after you arrive.
Getting my eyes worked on, they take good care of me, and I thank them.
Medical staff is great, but expect to wait for at least an hour, sometimes two, even if you are the first appointment of the day.
Appt scheduled for 8:30am.
Arrived before 7:30am.
It is 11:15am and still in pre-op. …
My appointment was on time! No wait! Extremely professional and knowledge based. …
I went to my appointment and was seen on time.
Great hospital AA++
the unfriendly people are gone now, and have been replaced by friendly caring people, that is what we found here at wills eye hospital center city Philly. we drove over 700 miles to come here, and if I found unfriendly people, well I …
The staff are very friendly and helpful, and they treat you well. I’ve had a few procedures there and the staff always made me feel comfortable
This hospital has zero respect for others time. Made my daughter wait for more than 3hrs for the pre and post eye procedure visits. Total disgrace!

5 stars for the staff up front and the nice lady that brings you to the back and checks your prescription etc
Thank you Dr. Carrasco, you are a brilliant surgeon. Had strabismis surgery 2 weeks ago and she knew exactly where to suture the muscle on the first attempt. Imagine going into the O.R. with double vision and then awaking to one image. …
Insanely impossible to get in contact with the billing department
This is a very busy office. I think some people do not realize, like in my experience, that various suburban area hospitals do not have the proper eye doctors on staff in their ER. This means that every time there is an eye injury in the …
Dr. Rozanski fixed my eyes so well, I can see like never before. Definitely will come back (if I have to).

I work in a hospital with very sick patients and know …
My experiences here have been the best a great staff
They are wonderful. Dr. Rosenski is so smart for a young doctor. And all the staff is so good. So glad I went there.
First of all let me say this, I am hard of hearing ok I call to make a appointment and one of the staff talking to me like Im retarded, the whole point is I was trying to hear what date she was saying, she said 6th of july but to me it …
Pleasant enough experience with the Dr and the nurse that saw me.

Dr. DeBenedictis did a fantastic job on my eye. She performed in depth tests to identify the problem and answered all of my questions fully. I was fully comfortable going into surgery and the recovery was quick. Her staff was kind and professional, and I fully recommend her and Wills eye to future patients.
Dr Rozanski is truly Americas best. I would not see anyone but him
They have bad attitudes and are extremely slow. Have I mentioned, they can see you in line at the front desk and will not direct you where you need to sign in … WHERE are the signs !? Let’s assume the customer service head is out for the …

Terrific staff, compassionate and caring. This is a top flight facility if you need eye surgery for whatever reason.

Wrote twice in three weeks to schedule an appointment and no one contacted me. This is insane. I wrote and told them the problems I was having as well. For a large hospital I cannot believe they cannot contact you back.

The worst experience ever!!!! Customer service is terrible had a scheduled surgery for 11am wasn’t taken back until 6pm!!!! There is no communication from the staff! They need to clean house and start over! How does a hospital run without …
Very rude staff when there but then missed an appointment due to an emergency and was told not to go back there. Things happen, life happens, a little more consideration and understanding perhaps.
So far still waiting for my appointment said 10:45 now it’s 1 still haven’t gone in might as well.leave a review while I wait an eternity 🙃 be prepared to wait countless hours system needs restructured big time. …
Wish I had read the reviews before I made an appointment. I arrived on time for my appointment, it took reception half an hour to even begin to check me in, I left after 1hr 10m in the waiting room. …
I am sorry I have to rate this a one i mean its wills eye and usually know for great services at least it use to be and if it was based off the resident I saw in the emergency room alone dr marissa shoen it would be a different rating she …
Great place friendly staff and top notch doctors. The wait was longer than expected which added to my frustrations and my daughter’s surgery had to be pushed back for further needed diagnosis. I took my frustration out on a very nice young …
I was diagnosed with cataracts and Fuchs dystrophy in both eyes a few years ago and my eyesight was getting progressively worse. I made an appointment with Dr. Meghpara for a further diagnosis and I was at the point I needed corrective …
I made an appt here because I had terrible scarring on my cornea. I was told by other Drs that a corneal transplant was not possible. I came here and was told it WAS possible. I had 3 treatments here before the the surgery. The cornea …
Great doctors but with covid around be aware 1 patient is only allowed in the waiting room ,even though the sign say 1 person in office they actually mean the waiting room ,1 parent allowed with a child ,if they would’ve changed this to …
Why schedule me for 11:15 if you can’t see me at that time. Every other time I’ve been here earlier I’ve been seen right away. People have lives.
Came here for second opinion regarding a severe cornea injury (6 months post trauma). All the staff was friendly. Dr Syed performed a very detailed examination and relayed her findings in clear terms. We came away with a better …
I was trying to schedule an appointment today and was served by the rudest receptionist ever! Trully a dissapointment for hiring bad attitude staff especially the front line customer service!
Great doctors but the administration is horrible. Very, very rude front staff and with two insurances they tried to make me self pay patient twice, I refused the second time. They seem to have problems handling the insurances. Almost …
The entire process was unacceptable, time consuming and disappointing. I finally arrived 13 minutes early for a 10am appointment (after circling the attached garage for a parking spot). So many people were present that many waited to be …
FIRST OFF: I was IMMENSLEY scared to come here based off the horrific reviews left before me. BUT my daughter’s Ophthalmologist, recommended a Dr. here, so I focused on just that….the Dr. and not the staff. …
They first provided me with service before telling me my insurance was ineligible and then went ahead to bill me. And then I sit and wait for hours. I can’t remember the last time I paid so much for so low quality service. I’m not blaming …
Hello Google Family. I visited Wills Eye Hospital about two weeks ago, when I obtained a second opinion about the measurements for my left and right eyes. I am about to have scheduled cataract surgery on my right eye. I took public …
Visit was a good experience. The doctor was also great.
My challenge came after the fact. My visit was a year ago and I have called 10+ …
I saw Dr. Nelson this morning, what a wonderful Doctor and staff! From the receptionist to his Assistant EVERYONE was very nice! Office was clean and I was seen and on my way home in about 90 minutes. 😊 …
The most incompetent and useless staff we have ever encountered. My son entered this facility on Friday around 6:00 PM on 11/26/21, with a foreign object lodged in his eye. Not one person asked if he needed help. This is how you treat your …
Retina Department.
I had an appointment at Wills Eye Hospital last week where I was greeted by a friendly gentleman named Mike at the front desk. Then one of the technicians, Heather, promptly came out & ran some tests on my eyes. She was very thorough and …
The blonde front desk woman was very rude and dismissive when asked simple questions.
I’m looking for other specialists now as I travel over 2 hours just to get there.
I never write reviews before but this place is far the worst, Waited 6 hours before seeing a doctor and it only took them 15mins of bs service to tell me there was nothing wrong with my eye. Doctors seemed rushed and didn’t do a thoroughly …
Very disrespectful to my family who drove over 3 hours to see the doctor. It is disheartening the staff that work here feel a huge power trip to the point where you demean people with disabilities. The doctor needs to reassess who they hire …
I normally don’t write reviews. But after seeing a few doctors at Wills Eye in the past a few years, I feel it deserves one. Overall experience is bad – the doctors here are inpatient and tell you random things without listening to your …
My husband had two separate surgeries for retinal detachment, and Dr. Cohen was excellent. The first surgery used a gas bubble to hold the tear in place for surgery, and after the gas bubble started to dwindle, the retina became weak beside …
Very helpful doctors. Everyone was so pleasant. They seem to care about making you feel better with your eyes.
This place gives me vertigo everytime i go here for an appointment. The windows are all glass and the dept i go to is on the 12th floor. I am literally terrified of heights. It would be nice if they could make a dept closer to the ground. The wait time here is awful. 3 and a half hours.
In February I had an infection in my left eye. I was in your hospital for four days. I was operated on by Sathyadeepak Ramesh. A couple days after the operation I went to see,J Kelley Assoc. LTD, they told me the ball was only half covered …
The staff had y always been courteous and …
I had photorefractive keratectomy surgery at Wills Eye Hospital in 2014. The best decision I have ever made. Before the surgery I was legally blind and could no longer wear contacts and even wearing eye glasses was a risk when driving, due …
