Like most utility companies, TECO is a complete scam. They have a monopoly on the market, and as a result, can afford to treat their customers like garbage. I have never called TECO for service and had anything less than a 30 minute wait on hold. Combine that with their falsified gas leak reports, and you get one star service.

I just called and was actually surprised to be taken care of by such a friendly and professional person, Tina, great customer service, it wasn’t what I expected after reading some many bad reviews, Tina was courteous, kind and professional , she schedule my service to come in tomorrow.

Had to call for issue after hours. They had someone call that evening and fix the issue. The tech was polite and professional.
Fast response! Professional. Great customer service. I got my appointment scheduled, they answered my questions and issues were fixed!
