Western Sun Federal Credit Union began in 1940 when employees and family members of the Barnsdall Oil Company in Tulsa, OK, pooled their resources to form a cooperative financial institution. They named it Tulsa Be Square Federal Credit Union. The name was changed in 1963 to Tulsa DX Federal Credit Union and again in 1970 to Western Sun Federal Credit Union. Unprofessional, unorganized and unwilling to go above and beyond. For example: talking very poorly about each other’s coworkers in front of customers.

Customer service over the phone is TERRIBLE! There is zero technology, and you will sit forever in their waiting area to speak to someone. Couldn’t even see my checking account in the beginning online. It’s been terrible.
Literally the SLOWEST drive thru ever. No matter what time, even if you’re the only person in the drive thru it will be at least a 10 minute stop.

Everything is great about this place, but they say they open at 7:30 but no ones really there. So they could be more specific on what’s open.. Drive thru, lobby, or neither. But other than that, they’re great to do business with.
So glad I rushed there by 5:30 (like your website and google say you close) to see that you had already closed. Ridiculous. I have been so disappointed in this credit union and their lack of technology from day 1!!!!!
Been here several years and they will do nothing extra for there customers. Looking for a new place to bank if anyone has any suggestions. I’m sure anywhere is better than here. Poor customer service poor attitudes poor everything about this place.

Great bank very helpful got a car loan very quickly. Only problem i have with them is they never answer the phone for example been call today since 7:30 probally bout 6 times left number and a message but nothing.
Met all my banking needs, with only a few small inconvienences in regards to cash deposit protocol (limits when using drive through, manadtory deposit slip completion, etc).
I’ve been with this bank for several years and they been good to me. I go through their drive thru every week and the girls know me and never had a problem.
Everything has been ok until today had to call in to make a truck payment because all lobbies are closed. And they charged me an extra $10 for making payment over the phone do to what’s going on around the world you shouldn’t be charging anybody a $10 fee bad business
I’d give 0 stars if I could this has to be hands down the laziest bankers I have ever tried to work with they turn the phones off on Saturday when they are open just so they can be a little more lazy I have never been more frustrated when just trying to make a payment!! Awesome place to do business with. The have always been quick and easy for the several loans I have with them. They always give me a great interest rate and a good term for the loan. I would recommend them to anyone I know!

Everything about this credit union is way more challenging than it needs to be. The application process took a little over a month and theres no communication with payments.
I have been using WSFCU for many years and the purchase of 5 vehicles (all loans PAID OFF). At one time, they were good. I cannot say that anymore. After my recent experience with them on a purchase of a vehicle, I will NEVER use them again. I gave them a chance to fix the issues, they knowingly chose to lose me as a customer.

Great customer service, they were kinda snappy when I was applying for a loan. But I’m not going to lower the rating simply because they have the best rates for older/higher mileage vehicles and I also went in 30 minutes before closing, and they still took care of me so I could close on my car that day.
