Sewanee Reviews ( 59 )

  1. I have read other reviews and it sound like a great college with good professors yet it also could be labeled as a “party college” which seems to be a problem but the classes and school itself sound very advanced

  2. If you are looking for an Old School college experience, Sewanee is the place to go. The school’s beautiful campus and focus on a traditional liberal arts education are hard to beat.

  3. What a breathtakingly beautiful campus up on the Cumberland mts. The Sewanee Inn has been rebuilt and it adds to the 1800’s
    Architecture, great place to stay!

  4. If you are tooling along Interstate 24 (Between Nashville and Chattanooga) get off at exit 134 and drive the short 6 miles to The University Of The South in Sewanee. Why you ask? Because it is one of the most beautiful campuses you will …

  5. I’ve never been to a more beautiful college campus. Meeting the alumni and seeing the depth and breadth of their education makes me regret attending a large state university. I will be encouraging my own children to attend a small liberal-arts school like Sewanee.

  6. One of the most beautiful University Chapels in the United States and perhaps the finest. Magnificent campus. An exceptional institution with superb English and Environmental/ Earth Studies departments. The School of Theology is the only …

  9. Beautiul, well maintained campus. A serious liberal arts college with solid curriculum and faculty. I’ve heard the reference that “Sewanee is the Harvard of the South”, but more accurately, “Harvard is the Sewanee of the North”!

  10. I’ve been working here for over 4 years, I like working here they have good benefits and when covid hit we was not able to work but they still paid us for 35hrs a week.

  11. This huge and extremely beautiful liberal arts college campus hosts a variety of older – styled – architecturd – buildings and dorns such as the “Uos, Sweanee, Dinning” Coffee Shop; the “Humphreys Hall” dorms; the “McClurg Dinning Hall” …
