When I was there the food was good but most of the staff were rude some were nice their is only 2 techs I really liked.
Not that good!
Love this place.
It sucks
Amazing staff and very friendly.
yeah.
I pray for the people unfortunate enough to go here.
I been there before my name is Raymond I hate up there
Bad staff, and beds. Totes wack.
You come out 20 times worse than when you go in.
I HATE THIS PLACE SOOOOOOOO MUCH IT GAVE ME MORE DEPRESSION MORE THANK I HAVE EVER HAVE AND IM ALWAYS DEPRESSED AND WANT TO DIE CONSTANTLY
I love how UBH offers CEUs for professionals!
I’ve only been on I adolescent unit if the phones on press 9 then make a call
Great experience! Staff and doctors are very helpful.
Don’t take your teen here, facility is co-ed and over taken by too many disturbed levels of teens which facility can help them all.
Have really benefitted from trauma CEU with Colin Ross. Looking forward to CEU Hidden Plain Sight
Dr. Ross’s Trauma program for PTSD is excellent.
Staff is exemplary!
Staff stole a 600 watch off my wrist like I didnt know.
This place was terrible, I had a huge panic attack and they shoved me back into my room and don’t let me talk about it. …
They were more interested in treating millennials with depression issues than alchohol dependence!
the staff was nice and i feel much better after treatment and discharge.
The staff was great the wait wasn’t bad Robert helped us and he was amazing talked to my son like a person everyone was friendly.
Attended this facility back in 2014 for mental disorder and it was a nightmare, the staff are fairly incompetent and i was told i did not have PTSD, That i ONLY had psychosis, after being shot in 2012.
Dr. Watts is pure evil. This place is horrible. Would never recommend it.
This place is horrible!! My daughter was there and they gave me a run around about everything!! I don’t recommend..
The military program is AMAZING!! Don’t listen to any of these reviews if you are military, because it is completely separate and completely amazing.
Did not take care of my depression and i still want to kill myself. In fact i am deeper into depression because of the visit and the money i still owe them.
Go somewhere else, low staffing, they just care about your insurance. The place is dirty and kinda makes depression worse.
Horrible facility. I stayed here back in 2019 and received the worst care I’ve ever received.
I’ve never seen a CEO take the time to go back on the units and listen to patients and their requests and then make the changes that the patients have asked for in order to improve their care.
If you go here, get ready to wait over 5 hours just for intake. Terrible
I started going here in 2010 I liked it so much that I kept going back but anyways momma Kathy and mr Braylon just to name a few I felt they cared the most
I have to say this place is the worst I’ve been. If you hardly have any depression, you will get it here. The techs do not care about you, profanity everywhere, fights left and right, and sexual contact with children. That’s nasty. Please, go somewhere else.
They really helped me. The staff is great and the people there are really caring staff and patients. Their groups are very good as well. I went there and it taught me a lot
Horrible place, staff was very rude. Doctors just bush off my concerns and gave me a label which cost my job in the Air Force. Caused serious trust issues and made my Depression way far far worse.
Mama Kathy and Mr braylon were some of the best staff … of course this was back in 2010 maybe 2011-2014 ish
I was sick during my stay because of meds they put me on. I was throwing up and passing out and they wouldn’t let me lay down at all. I ended up passing out on the floor for an hour and they still didnt let me do that
This place is a disghusting rathole..i havent been in a while but i.was proven aspergers autistic and not mentally insane and retarded sometimes youd not get your meds till.two am and its true if you cry or scream.you get a shot in your …
Working here was pathetic, no staffing with lots of patients to the extend of staying till 3am doing admissions. Management dont care about safety and concerns to staff. Bad place to work would advice to look for another place to work dont even bother applying here
Don’t send anyone here, not even to the military unit. This place only cares about money and if they don’t like you they’ll mess with you and continuously lie to you.
How do I obtain my records and diagnosis.
Fights everyday 4,5 times a day. no control. no therapy. made me go to the boys unit during the day because there was relationship drama and that was just as a disaster.
Very nice, calm, kind and supportive staff. Especially Ms. Sydney. If you ever would like to visit this hospital, try to reach Ms. Sydney, should you need to be consulted perfectly with valuable advices.
They used to care about their patients. Told them I was suicidal and they asked if i could wait another day. Asked to bring my service dog and they basically said they didn’t Know.
Everyone saying this place is dirty and unsafe is lying i went for the first time at the age of seventeen and everything was clean and run on a schedule all the staff is super nice and caring they just want to see you get better there are …
the nurses and doctors are rude, the broke patient confidentiality rules, forced medication, and lied about new triggers for patients with mental health. they need to be locked up in a jail honestly
This place is horrific, low staff to patient ratio, salty food, ugly depressing rooms, they only care if you are funded. They try to keep you longer. Go somewhere else like try Connections Wellness. If they was something less then star i would 4sure give it.
Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Dr. Roksoc excuse my spelling is a quack and likes to upset clients. This place is not handicapped accessible. If you have good insurance they will keep you as long as your insurance will pay.
Definitely don’t recommend working here but if you want to work here it works well with a college schedule. They don’t pay the techs enough to deal with some of the stuff that happens there. But if you don’t take this seriously ask for $16-17/hr. They can afford it. You’re welcome Dorie 🙂
After being forced to stay for nearly a week, I left in worse condition than I arrived in. Now, over 3 months later, they’re STEALING $200 from me. More than once. They keep telling me “numbers were put in wrong”.
Jail would be a much better place to attend than this hell-hole.
Good experience, the nurses , techs were amazing and helpful . More activities then other inpatient hospitals . The food was either a hit or miss.
Ubh is not perfect, but they saved my suicidal son’s life. He stayed 10 days and came home with a smile again. He’s still recovering, but I owe them so much for what they did. Thank you.
With UBH, you’ll come out worse than when you go in. They tell you help is available but that’s not true with this facility; they are making money off of mental illness.
my best friend killed himself after being released. he continued to show 0 signs of improvement. he was constantly talking about things not getting better, there were big mood changes. there’s no personal connections to help individuals. …
I had some of the best care I’ve ever received there. The staff was amazing and I learned so much. I’m bummed to see some people didn’t have a great experience like I did. I was also military so I don’t know if that is why our ratings and experience was so different.
The bleach blonde admittance assessor never told us her name. She couldn’t answer most of our questions such as what takes place in counselling sessions and what age range of children our eight-year old son would be exposed to. …
***READ THE WHOLE COMMENT, IT DETAILS THE INEFFECTIVE TREATMENT MODEL USED IN THIS CHARLATAN OF A TREATMENT CENTER FOR MILITARY TRAUMA. THE HOSPITAL OWES STARS BACK TO ANY PAST PATIENT ABLE TO CARRY ON AFTER THE “FREEDOM CARE” …
This place is so backwards horrible don’t know where in heck the nurses, doctors and so call therapist they have here. My son was a patient for two days he hasn’t been on his medication in over a yr and some months due to a lot from MMHR …
Run away couldn’t be more spot on. This place is awful. Understaffed and overrated. Most of the staff is rude, the therapists could care less. I have self harmed while there due to feeling like a failure for actually believing this place …
My daughter has been there less than 24 hours and has been treated very poorly. Yes when you go there they are friendly and talk a REAL GOOD game but that all that it is a B.S. talk!!! I don;t understand it. Stop lying to these people. They have lied from the beginning and I’m very angry. I would not put my loved one in this facility.
PLEASE TAKE CAUTION Before letting you loved ones go here do your research know the law these people just want your insurance money. There are far better facilities then this one. They can’t admit you without MHMRS consent. Do not sign …
Don’t send your kids there. They only look for surface level solutions. They don’t return phone calls, rude staff, they lack the education to teach the skill sets to patients that would help them not return. …
They literally don’t care. Made fake reviews my patient didn’t even fill out but they said he did. Made me wait longer than necessary for no reason. Tiffany, at the front desk, was wonderful. I hope she finds a better place that deserves her. This place just drains your insurance as much as possible. Go somewhere else for help.
DO NOT GO HERE. I was sent here from the UNT health center for mental health concerns and they immediately labeled me suicidal and tried to keep me for 5 days. I had to call my mother and get bailed out. Spent over 7 hours here to receive no actual help and to be more traumatized.
My son is there and is in a very unsafe situation with another child there and when I asked to sign my son out they refused to let me. The doctor put him on a 24 hour hold and now has to see the judge which could be within 72 hours. The …
The nurses, techs, therapists and doctors here literally saved my life. Any negative review is from people who got nothing from it because they decided to put nothing into it. Much love and I’ll keep in mind the enlightenments I came to until the day I die. If anyone from UBH sees this, thank you. Thank you so much.
If you don’t already have a severe and chronic psychological condition, do NOT go to this facility! You’ll be sure to leave with one after dealing with this place. From the minute you enter, they will try to hold you against your will as if …
I was never a patient here but I really thought the reviews might just be biased ramblings of people who already suffer mental illness. Until I moved here and multiple people I know talked about their experience as an employee here. I still …

I’m surprised at all the negative reviews. My experience was positive. The only things I’d say could change are more activities during the day for inpatient & for patients to be allowed in their rooms throughout the day. Also nights and …
this was the worst experience i had ever had. the staff treated the patients horribly . dr .malone treated all of the MENTALLY ill patients as if we are crazy and just gave us medicine to basically sedate us the whole time we were there …
Let me tell you my experience as an in patient. It’s awful. The adolescent unit is terrible. There were fights every day. The staff don’t seem like they care unless it’s Adrian, or the Megan with black hair. The other Megan with blonde hair …
Do not go here! I was Misdiagnosed and not helped. I lost 4 jobs and just found out I was on the wrong treatment and now I have to pay them. It’s ridiculous and I’m thinking about fighting it. Thanks for checking into my ocd. You guys didn’t do your research. PTSD, ocd, bipolar, and adhd. Wow you guys missed a lot.
The trauma unit was unprofessional and retraumatizing. I have trauma around locked doors and we were locked away from the bathrooms. My therapist assigned me homework to convey my trauma story in artwork and then left for a conference. I …

Honestly not sure why the reviews are so bad, this places saved and changed my life. The techs, nurses, therapists and even patients in the trauma unit feels like a family and are incredible pieces of the recovery process. I would recommend this facility to anyone I know seeking mental help!!

I lost my career because Dr. Watts lied and refused to sign my disability paperwork. I left broken upset lost and worse than when I arrived due to the abuse suffered at this facility. I’m heading out of town to get treatment for the damage caused at UBH
I was here in 2014, the facility was well cared for and we were even treated to a nice dinner over that Christmas. The staff seemed over whelmed but that happens a lot with healthcare workers. I recently needed information regarding my stay and spoke to very nice people on the phone as well as received answers quickly.
I was abused at the mental hospital by a buy there and the doctors did nothing about it. They tried to keep it quiet that this was happening to me before my Mom forced them to protect me with bodyguards. The abuse didn’t stop and I was …

After seeing the reviews, I was terrified when my sister was admitted there. However, she has had the exact opposite experience. They welcomed her with open arms and are doing everything they can. I am so thankful that they are able to be there for her. Every staff member I have spoken with on the phone has been very polite.

I don’t see how this place is still around. My daughter had a stay here. Staff is unprofessional, food is apparently disgusting. The only good thing about it is the recreational therapy.
