TRIA Orthopaedic Center Reviews ( 191 )

  1. I have used the urgent care several times and had positive results. This time was not the case. I was seen and imaging scheduled. After the MRI the consult was done but my injury was completely missed by the staff at TRIA. It was written in …

  2. I really like the convenience of their urgent care. I have seen a few doctors when I’ve needed a cortisone shot and every single one has been nice. I’ve had my questions answered and I always feel better after leaving than I did when I got there.

  3. Horrible. Wait, wait, wait. Crabby nurse, terrible experience. Worse
part was that I waited over an hour to see a PA (from the second waiting room). Insane. A PA!

  4. Love this place. I always feel like these doctors know what they are talking about and explain everything to you so you can understand what is going on.

  5. The best hands down I had 2 surgery there the nurses are so nice they tell you everything there doing before they do it the doctor’s explains everything before they operate wouldn’t go anywhere else

  6. I feel it’s the only place to go with any kind of injury. They have a urgent care that is open till 8pm which is nice and all the staff are all fabulous that I have encountered so far!

  7. I arrive 15 minutes early while the Dr. arrives 30 minutes late. It would be something to deal with if it were one occassion and one doctor, except it is multiple occassions and multiple doctors. My time is not best used waiting just like I assume it is the same for other working professionals.

  8. They do not care about their patients. They just send you home and say they will call with results and never do. Give mixed diagnoses and changed my care plan every time I go without providing any relief.

  9. Do not go here if u break your heel!!!. Old school procedures. I broke mine in pieces and they wanted to slice my whole heel open around the back. Twin cities orthopedic did it with a two inch incision on the side. No complications. Thanks Jeffrey seybold and twin cities orthopedic.

  10. Tria Orthopaedics has been a wonderful place!! My wife had to have surgury there today and everyone in the building is zoo friendly and knowledgeable. The Tria Cafe is a great place to eat while waiting for a loved one. I am writing this review from there free wifi they offer. Will highly recommend this place to anyone i know.

  11. Can I call them money hungry hookers who basically make false promises and when you don’t get pain relief they say(as usual), your body is not responding? Been going since last 7 months, saw many people and zero improvement. That’s all.

  12. Outstanding – the doctors are the absolute BEST at what they do, and they’re incredibly patient, thorough, and caring. I’ve had outstanding care from multiple doctors (Peña and Muench are SO great). I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

  13. I would highly recommend TRIA! Dr.Nelson has done 2 shoulder surgeries for me and I could not be more happy with my results! The facility has great staff and is very clean!

  14. Need to make or reschedule an appointment? Don’t bother calling! I don’t know what kind of basement business the call center is operated out of, but on 6/11/19 my partner and I both spent over 15 minutes on hold each trying to reschedule an …

  15. Dr. Bergeson was phenomenal and helped me to answer all of my questions, acquire proper testing, find alternative treatments and care, and ease my worries with my chronic pain & fibromyalgia.

  16. Awful care and they never listen to you!! Being not heard after repeated calls and appointments explaining how much pain your in and how much you’re suffering and they do nothing to help you at all! Go somewhere else people!!!!

  17. Used the Acute Injury Clinic. Staff were friendly. The wait was minimal. They were professional and knowledgeable. I have full confidence in their work. I would definitely come again.

  18. The occupational therapists offer nothing of value. They just read a pamphlet out loud to you like you are a small child and charge you $360/hour for it. Absolutely not worth the time or money. Go elsewhere!

  19. Dr. Wissink took me seriously, explained everything that was going on in terms I could understand, and made me feel very heard in terms of what I felt was going on with me. I have a steroid injection this week and hope that fixes it.

  20. I brought my daughter to Tria to treat a chronic ankle problem due to repeated twists in soccer. Tria recommended numerous tests and put her in a boot, only to draw the conclusion after close to a year that there was nothing wrong. …

  21. Sunday, Memorial Weekend! I received excellent service. Dr Heather was the best! Explained everything and gave me a cortisone injection that I was not planning on. I will go back!

  22. Don’t EVER go here! I tried two different doctors for a foot issue and neither of them could come up with a solution or therapy to fix. The second doctor (Dr. Mazzuca) took an aggressive approach to testing and I’ll be paying off that bill …

  23. I saw two hand surgeons at Tria and they explained the surgery that they would perform and it would have been super painful. No thanks! I went to Mayo in Rochester and honestly had two painless surgeries on my arthritic thumbs. I’m beyond glad I didn’t have surgery at Tria.

  24. This is my third visit for the same thing at every visit they have not had anything ready for me. They are hard to get an appointment with I wish I had never chosen them for this particular operation. They have doctors that are phenomenal but they’re Orthopedics appliances section is disgusting.

  28. Quiet environment. 1hr waiting, 15 min seeing the doctor. Dr. Gorman is nice and professional, explaining my injury pretty well and answer my question.

  29. In an effort to make health care pricing more transparent, I did a one-time Run Study with a physical therapist. Was super helpful, lasted about an hour. Total cost out of network, $531. Pretty expensive if you ask me, but it was helpful.

  30. VERY disappointed in the “diagnosis” my son received at TRIA in Bloomington in 2017. He was referred to TRIA because of a knee injury that happened during football practice. After an x-ray, the “doctor” at TRIA assured us my son only needed …

  31. Best, most professional medical care I’ve had in years. All facilities under one roof. Urgent care fast check-in, diagnosis, X-rays, MRI, test evaluation, and treatment — all in the same afternoon. Impressive.

  32. Lines are insanely long and slow, it takes a minimum of one hour thirty minutes, today it took over 3 hours, go to a different location, don’t waste your time

  33. I’m writing this review from INSIDE the doctor’s office, yet to be seen. Been over 90 minutes from the time I checked in until now and I have yet to be seen by an actual Doctor. Unless you can count the one who walked by when I poked my …

  34. The doctor at Tria was excellent. Instead of dismissing our son’s pain, they ordered the tests that ended up saving his life due to an undiagnosed medical condition. Where so many other doctors could have just told him to take ibuprofen …

  37. The call center leaves lots to be desired. The physicians are great except for a few. Train your help appropriately and you will keep the patients you have. Let “patient centered care” continue to be your motto.

  38. Saw Dr. Alexander. I can’t imagine a patient making an appointment to see him specifically, on purpose. Dismissive, condescending and supercilious. Judy in Concierge fantastic! Mohammad in MRI fabulous!! Reception great.

  39. Pretty sure I wouldn’t be able to walk without Dr Pena’s expertise. Nurses are super caring as well here and don’t seem to be super overworked, and if they are they still take great care of their patients

  40. My son was involved in a snowmobile accident , his care was excellent . Very impressed with Dr Pena , his nurse and staff also. They couldn’t be anymore helpful also answered all questions and assured us that they are only a phone call away. Nice to know such a facility exists .

  44. My experience is one I hope all will please be aware, there’s not enough time to share everything. But I will share what is very necessary. I wouldn’t have rated at all but needed to warn… I was x-ray more than 3 times, and was told I …

  45. I seen a doctor there 2 years ago and all set for a knee replacement but my wife and I were told that I only needed meniscus tears cleaned up on both knees and will be good for 6-8 years! I didn’t really want that, but thought we better go …

  47. I would not go back to this place again. They did not listen to my concerns about the issues I was having. I was eventually (after multiple visits over several weeks) turned away because I “was not a candidate” for surgery. Go check out Twin Cities Orthopedics. They did a much better job!

  48. My husband went to TRIA for torn calves muscles and pain in his ankle and foot after surgery. The visit was an horrible experience. Dr. Fernando A. Pena has horrible bedside manor and acted annoyed that we were there. He barely looked at my …

  53. Have used Bloomington TRIA for many rugby and snowboarding injuries. Major hip repair, rib separations, broken and separated collar bones, AC separations, knee issues. Professional treatment, diagnosis, and recovery. TRIA is my go to when I make questionable life choices. No regrets.

  65. The doctors seemed ok. But. Failed to obtain imaging of my entire limb. There was an elbow fracture that went undiagnosed. My first cast was too tight and not long enough. Had to go back for another cast. The out of pocket I had to pay was outrageous, but, to be fair, the whole US insurance based system is a joke.

  110. The Physical therapy department is either incompetent or scamming people. They were supposed to get an ok from Our VA health insurance before adding PT appointments.
