I love st.vincents healthcare my mom works there and one time my grandpa had a heartatack and they fixed him up really well go to st.vincents south side if you need to go to the hospital
I MADE THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF COMING HERE! SHOULD’VE WENT TO A ANIMAL SHELTER! I WOULD’VE GOT BETTER SERVICES! HERE I GOT TREATED LIKE A RODENT ! SHANDS U,F, HEALTH WILL BE MY NEXT DISCARGE TO FROM HERE!
This is incorrect information through Google Maps. The location described at 1 Shircliff Way 32204 is St. Vincent’s Medical Center Riverside, not Southside. Please update as this may cause confusion with patients attempting to receive care at a medical facility.
I would give it a zero purely on the manager of the nutrition not even being a register dietitian. Worst food service ever should be illegal to serve food when there is flooding in the kitchen, disgusting!
Plan on delays in surgery. Everyone is delayed several hours today and it seems it’s just business as usual to the staff here. I would advise trying somewhere else for elective surgery.
Horrible treatment came in excruciating pain after work was not properly treated went home still in excruciating pain even after tests confirmed my issue. Not even a work note was provided. Will never return and would never recommend
My ob/gyn Dr.gave me explained from Ato Z to me,thanks to St.Vincent to have her at that facility, 10 out of 10 to the St Vincent’s health care, living near or far St.vincent is the hospital.
AVOID AVOID AVOID THIS HOSPITAL FOR COVID CARE, 3RD FLOOR. NURSES DISREGARD PATIENT/FAMILY REQUEST FOR SERVICE/UPDATES. I HOPE I’M WRONG OR SENSITIVE TO THE SITUATION. I HEARD MY FRIEND/PATIENT CALL OUT TO THE NURSE AND SHE DISREGARDED AS IF SHE DIDN’T HEAR, WALKED OUT THE ROOM. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE & PLACE TO BE SICK SO FAR!!!
Wish I had come here to begin with.
The wait time was non existent, the nurses are awesome, the doctors are awesome… I would tell anyone this is the place to come for emergency care
Went in with kidney stones they had me in and on meds and catscan in 15 minutes and out within the hour. Very professional and great people. They saved me
I highly recommend the Cafe grille with Chef Joshua McGarth chicken quesadillas all the way! The best burger in town Another reason to go to St. Vincent Southside. I’d rather go to this café then any fancy restaurant especially for the price Try it you’ll like it
My wife and I had twins here. Great staff who remained professional and helpful at all times. Tammi Glass was a fantastic nurse. They all were. Thank you.
I was admitted to this hospital twice. The first time was awful nurses were not attentive at all no water in room, towel, soap or clean bedding.Bathroom was filthy and I had to request meals because they were never served to me .The second …
In last March and April I was in a virus coma 31 days .then I woke .and became a pain in the rear.i like to apologize to all ICU nurses and thank all the staff.in including priests ty I’m still alive and kicking
Kind, compassionate and do not appear to be financially motivated… I know that on some level all hospitals work to make money, but, the culture at St. Vincent’s Medical Centers do not show this at all..
I would never go here under any circumstances. Their nurses are dangerous and the staff there is apathetic and seemingly feel entitled to your patronage.
If you are a foreigner and not from this country and have an account don’t come to this hospital this is the worst hospital in the world please be aware and they are very mean and not support
This hospital is great. I had hernia surgery there, hand surgery. Thought I broke my back. I went there. I walked 4.5 hours to go there this pass Thursday passed up the other hospital. The staff are great
I will never deliver here again! The billing system is a nightmare! I have provided my insurance at least three times, and they are still billing the wrong insurance company. The staff is a mixed bag; some are awesome, but the ones that are …
Clean friendly and the only hospital I’m willing to go to.
My daughter was also just born there and we got out in a very reasonable time soon after 👍 …
I have to this hospital several times and usually get okay care however when I pulled my medical reports I found things there that the doctor never discussed with me. This was so frustrating and ultimately alter my medical care down the line.
Dr Roberts couldn’t be any worse. . Honestly.
If you don’t wanna do your job and deliver babies don’t work in OB care. . This woman was awful in so many ways. She’s on call often and I wouldn’t recommend …
Just delivered my 2nd daughter here on the 8th. The birthing suite was very nice and welcoming. The nurses were great (especially Stephanie, the lady she was training who’s name I can not remember, I’m sorry! And Jeane to name a few that …
My husband is there right now and he’s abandoned the nurses don’t anything, he has a headache, he doesn’t eat anything since yesterday in the morning, so even the doctor saw him, wowwww, I’m disappointed.
Phenomenal service my whole stay. Did everything to make me comfortable with my pregnancy and the delivery of my Precious Princess. Most important they had GREAT ATTITUDES, ALWAYS SMILED, AND WAS WILLING TO GO THE EXTRA MILE FOR ME, MY …
Do not go, unless you are literally dying. Very bad service, rude staff, and slow. Very sick and never even saw a doctor, only one nurse. They barely helped me. Wish i picked a better hospital.
I had Bariatric surgery here in February and the entire staff was EXCELLENT! From the ladies at check-in to my AMAZING nursing staff, I really couldn’t be more pleased!
If you like to go to doctors who can’t read x Ray’s this is your place. They will let you walk right out and tell you you’re good to go only to find out you have 3 fractures and possible 4th. Go ahead and come here if that’s the service you want.
I really dont think they have any doctors working in the ER tonight. My wife is sitting next to me moaning with chest pains. Been here over 2 hours and I haven’t seen anyone taken back for anything other than xrays. Pathetic!
This is a malpractice house not a hospital
The nurse took my iv out and didn’t put a bandaid on it
At my discharge I was given the option for a wheelchair …
I had the worse experience! A nurse named Laura treated me with no sympathy and I told her to stop and she wouldn’t! she kept trying to get her job done but in a brutal way. I had a miscarriage and I know it could of gone better but it did not it was the worst thing!
Refused my ambulance, told them to take me “home and leave him on the floor.” I was paralyzed from the Neck down. A week later the Rescue Squad found me, heart was stopping, had major surgery, I’m wheelchaired. It was called St Luke’s then, same place.
I will say that as a first time mom I had so many fears prior to giving birth. I was admitted after having labored at home and upon arrival I was at 6cm. So, the fun really began. I was met with Nurse Joyce who was amazing! I almost felt …
We are expecting our first any day now, so today we went to tour the labor and delivery ward. Wow! This is a VERY outdated hospital. Not sure if it because I am comparing it to European hospitals, but I did not expect this at all. The …
Not the same since the change from Mayo to St. Vincent’s. Recent family member’s experience was nothing short of horrible, from the filthy, hot waterless room to the attitude of the on staff MDs and some RNs . Chose to discharge early, move to another hospital…ANY other hospital.
Waiting three hours in the emergency room worried about how my wife may be having a miscarriage and them having no remorse thos is a time sensitive issue and they made it clear they dont care at all
There are signs posted everywhere that if you’re late to an appointment they charge you $25, but you have to wait 30-45 minutes before they take you back. I’m fine with being on time, but I find it rude to force people to wait for so long. Just space out appointments better.
I have my first baby here even though I was due in November she came on September 9th I love all the nurses and doctors they made sure me and my little one was comfy I was very high risk due to preeclampsia and everyone answered all my …
Horrible if I did have covid I’d be dead! Just waiting and waiting I’m in soooooo much pain right now and it’s so cols just keep getting pushed around just to wait. Id rather be at Morton plant back home. Had to leave 3 hrs later customer service is horrible
Gah if your dying or goin to be dead dont be at this hospital it take a nurse 1 hour to come to you when you press the nurse button. But overall had a bad experience herre, nurse and doctor says I dont know and walks out
Never have I seen such rude nurses, they don’t come back you see them once a day, they lie to you. Talk to you in condensending manner and treat people terribly. I hated every minute of being here
When I arrived at the ER the Doctors and staff was ready to help me survive the widowmaker active heart attack. Great job for the fast respond saving me and giving another chance thank you.
This is THE WORST HOSPITAL IN JACKSONVILLE, FL. My son was running a fever and also wheezing because he is asthmatic! They told me he has bronchitis and they are not a children’s hospital? Which is ABSURB to me because I came to my nearest ER! I wish I could give them a -0!!!!!
I had the worst Expands in my life. My doctor was very judgmental she didn’t want to help me at all. Honestly I don’t even know how she is a doctor. Horrible.
Could not be more happy with the level of care I have received. Every single person on the staff I’ve seen has been amazing. I’ve seen no less than 12 professional, courteous and knowledgable women who clearly enjoy what they do! Thank you …
I am giving this facility a 2 and they lucky they get that. I am high risk pregnancy and going to them seems like a nightmare with the exception that when Dr. Nichisch comes in he is probably the only professional and courteous doctor in …
From my short term experience going to a teaching hospital, honestly I think they do pretty darn good! When they adapt socialized medicine I see them thriving more
Dr Gail Shaw Margerum
She is the worst doctor ever, she doesn’t want to work, and she thinks because she is soooo skinny that she is perfect. she far too far from being perfect, …
Worst staff and especially the drs the xray woman was great other than that this place is just taking money and claims . Would have given it no stars but cant. They don’t care. Xray girl said normally it’s not like this but I dont think I’m willing to give it a second shot. My first and last time
If you want stay a life be away from this place them system always down they might receive you as another person or they might call you for you appointment sending you email then when you go there they told you u don’t have appointment looking forward to find more professional medical service in some where els
Sunday morning 2rd of December 2018. I took my fiance to St Vincent Medical Hospital on 1670 St Vincent way. Middleburg FL 32068. Because we don’t live far from it… WORST MISTAKE EVER.. The emergency intake staff was friendly, until we …
I was admitted recently at this Hospital for 2days
From the emergency room to the 3rd floor
The Dr’s and Nurses are wonderful. I would
definitely recommend
ER doctors turned me away and refused to treat me TWICE because they said I was a “drug seeker.” I have NEVER taken illegal drugs in my life. If you have an emergency medical condition do NOT go here under ANY circumstances.
This place is a mess. They unresponsive to calls about surgery costs then they bill you for services they didn’t provide. Also I’ve provided insurance info twice and they still haven’t applied secondary insurance properly. They had me marked down as a female with the wrong date of birth. It goes on and on. Reckless.
I used to have my own real bad experience in here 6 years ago.. it is just limited of our insurance… my mom just now in here.. the whole time we just concerned her stomach but they keep check her heart and now she is still in pain but they …
I had my first baby at they family birth center last October. The nurses and doctors are great there they love they job. I didn’t have no problems with this hospital. And they feed you good.
On Nov. 27. I was at St. Vincent’s Southside ER. Then go up to my room. Due to my breath situation. They threat me very well and get my breath back. I’m C.O.P.D. and I thanks to St. Vincent’s Hospital. Also I had great nurses. Including shifts nurses.
Do not go here. My mom has been there 12 hours, she had not been able to eat before she wound up here, she was weak. Pneumonia, they said.
They are waiting for test results. …
I had an outpatient procedure done here recently. I had to go under for the surgery. The Nurses, Anesthesiologists, and the doctors where phenomal. They took great care of me. I Was not nervous one bit. Thank you.
Impossible to actually get test results to talk to a person besides the operator. I have been transferred to the same voice mail box about 20 time. I followed the instruction on the web site for if I had a concern and was transferred to another voicemail box. I would suggest finding a different hospitable/testing group if possible.
Had an outpatient procedure that required sedation. From check-in to discharge the quality of the clinical care, and the extraordinary friendliness of everyone made me feel safe and cared for. Even the fella in the elevator delivering linnen asked how I was doing and wished me well.
Very unbelievable!!!! Went there full term with contractions every five minutes was told I was Dehydrated and sent home in unbelievable pain. Didn’t make it home ended up delivering my baby at another hospital within the hour Would get this negative stars if I could
Due to poor scheduling and repeated misdirection by endocrinology, my 11 am appt was 1.5 hrs late for a 2 minute appointment at the wrong location, which could have taken place by phone without the wasted time. Love the dr. But the system is inconsiderate to patients.
No words can ever express how my experience was! The staff is awesome, I had a great birth experience and going through high blood pressure problems still labor & delivery was so helpful! The nurses are so supportive, understanding and very professional! Thank you all!❤️❤️
No one wants to go to the Hospital. If you must, St. Vincent’s Southside is THE Hospital to go to. I have been in hospitals in, Los Angeles, New York City, Philadelphia, and Miami. NONE of them compare to the quality of care that I received …
Was having a medical crisis.spent several days inpatient and everything “seemes ok” HOWEVER upon discharge they could careless about your well being.i had 2 very weak legs ans a procedure on back.they made me.walk myself toooutside.even …
Dr Pirris and Sherri Kimes, best team i ever met, neck fusion, spinal stimulator, and now back surgery, very professional and really care about people, even if your a Jags , Patriots and Bruin fan, Larry A., best nurse i ever had by far. …
I am so glad we choosed this hospital. All the nurses were Excellent. Specially Ms. Brittany, Ms. Carrie and Ms. Emma. They were so sweet and helpful all the time for my baby and me.
I highly recommend this hospital.
My grandma was healed by God at the hospital not the Doctors. They put an IV in her and forgot to take it out causing my grandma to have an infection. They made my Grandma get worse. This hospital needs to worry about the patients jobs more. Besides that they did a good job.
This is based solely on cleanliness of hospital. So far, the staff has been great. There are cigarette butts in the inside elevator along with just dirty walls and floors, the bathrooms are dirty, and the place is just grimy and unkempt. The cafeteria is just gross.
I went to St. Vincent Hospital Southside with a broken leg, they gave me pain killers, and morphine and then made me sign a piece of paper which states that I received all the necessary treatment, I signed it under influence and they …
My 18 month old son had a 104 fever and a rash all over his body. Rushed to the closest ER that unfortunately was st Vincent. They did a chest X-ray (why I’m not sure cause he hadn’t had the slightest cough) and tried to get a urinalysis …
This is the most predijuce place. They doctors refuse to talk to me about my health. The charge nurse who is a white male talks to you like a dog. And everyone is acting like I contagious and have the nerve to be in the hallway discussing …
Let’s just start with how rude these so called first responders are. Courtney., yeah the lady who fast tracks patients in and out with their blood pressure 200 over 135 can’t be the way. This lady and whomever thg e skinny little white man …
Doctors and nurses making fun of patients in the ER. Laughing at people who are talking in their sleep, calling people who call in idiots, lying to patients about the availability of medications. Never ever go to this er they do not care …
Apperintly too scared to treat my pregnant wife they turned her away after we waited a month for an appointment for their OB. Don’t go where the docs are scared to treat you.
Yes I did had my share trouble with this hospital last year. But what an improvement this year . They are heroes in my book and are there to save life . After thinking it was gas pain it was a heart attack . There response save my …

I prayed so hard for GOD to help me get my GMA the care she deserved! Something told me to take her to St.Vinvent’s Southside, even though they wanted to take her to Memorial. Luckily, I convinced them to bring her here! …
My father has been in and out of St. Vincent’s for a long time (due to age and health). The whole staff is awesome. I did want to give special recognition to Nurse Cody on 3 south. He is amazing! Very personable with my father and us-listens to our concerns. Thank you.
Dad had open heart surgery that went very well, but the doctors forgot to give him his BLOOD SUGAR & BLOOD PRESSURE medication when they sent him home. This caused a blood clot in his liver due to blood sugars being over 400!!!!!!!!! He was …
The emergency room staff was great. The doctor was great. The two male nurses were so kind
to my autistic son they went above and beyond
caring for him. St Vincent is the best.
I can say I was treated on 3 visits in March of 2017. The first visit was for a stroke which the doctors and nurses treated me quickly and prepared me for surgery to repair blockages in both carotid arteries. …
The quality of care and the entire staff are top notch! From the doctors all the way down the the nurses, techs, and the guy who works the grill at the cafeteria. They really took that extra effort to make us comfortable and we never felt …
I had a baby here in December of 2018. I would have to say it was the absolute worst experience. If you need long term pregnancy care and have to stay in the hospital look elsewhere. I was so scared they are hands down the worst when it comes to long term care pregnancies.
I was very disappointed with the lack of care I received. I literally left there no better off than when I arrived.
A CT was done and a herniated disc was noted. The reason I went there was …
This hospital is a joke. Brad Turner the nursing manager does not know how to manage his staff and gets his panties in a bundle when you tell him he should be embarrassed of the condition of his emergency room. DIRTY HOSPITAL, dust in …
Shelly Jane. I was calmly asking for my medical records and she told me that she’s an adult and not to talk to her like that. I reminded her that I was an adult, too. She hung up on me. Thankfully, Daysha Goss helped me out in a much more …

On two separate occasion I’ve had HORRIBLE experiences with this place , the first time I was told I had to be moved to the hallway , while morphine was still in my system & I was underdressed .. They took my room & gave it to someone else …
This was my first experience with this hospital and my last I wouldn’t recommend this facility but I can’t say all the staff was condescending and heartless because it wouldn’t be true. I visited this hospital for the delivery of my child …
1 star is too much for this facilty. One of the worst hospital experience ever. A family member had a knee replacement that should have been a 2 day hospital stay has turned into more than 20 days stay, and still there. Issue after issue. A …
Following surgery I was ignored by my nurses. Ill be contacting an attorney and insurance company. No one even bothered to check on me even after informing the charge nurse. No one should have to sit in pain for 17 hours after major abdominal surgery.
Terrible experience! DO NOT GO TO that hospital including emergency room. My son is especial needs, has blood in the urine and I taking him to ER. Firstly a nurse screeming to my son like animal because my son need a bathroom and open …

My son was in the step below ICU . He was very ill. The nurses station was right outside his room. It totally shocked me how unprofessional the nurses were. I went to the desk to ask a question and 2 of them were playing on their phone. …
I love this location. Antonio, the man who did my daughter’s X-ray was the BEST. He greeted my daughter with a wheel chair, provided a blanket and helped her though every step. He was communicative and friendly. He has amazing bedside …
Got to post this. Have you seen the commercial for Ascencion Hospital?
Please consider them when you are looking. I’ve not found anyone I didn’t love as my doctor. My primary care and my specialists ARE that caring.
Good hospital as long as you get a good nursing staff. Have had
Phenomenal nurses and some that are barely mediocre. Dr Kara Wanchick is an excellent surgeon with a rocking bedside manner. She gets 5+ stars. Great surgical staff. Great anesthesiologists.
Don’t go here. Been here a few times and they dont send you home with pain meds if you truly need them, they keep you longer than you need to, and when you need help, nobody comes to you. Their staff is nice in their shops but the nurses …
My two experiences here was wonderful, the staff made me feel so comfortable. Wait wasn’t long, nurse Robert I think his name was, he’s the best! So concerning and answered all my questions! Definitely the friendliest staff all the way to the cleaning lady!

I would very .much like to say my experience in the last 4 days here have been pretty bad. Since I am not the sickest and don’t need the most help. I get none. I wait at least an hr for anything I request. I am told, I will be right back …
It was horrible! Nurses were rude, unsympathetic, and we’re not good at their jobs. The doctor was okay but felt bad for him b/c of his co-workers .The nurse came in to give me iv fluids and just plugged in the iv and left with no comment. …
I received a bill that went to collections from a service date of 9/21/21. I made numerous calls to their customer service that I have insurance for the date of service but it is still in collections not being processed. Poor customer service and no follow up. Just keep getting the run around.
Worst hospital ever. I had to go to the ER was there for over 5 hours in the waiting room. The hospital is dirty and the staff is rude… Do not recommend
I will NEVER come to St Vincent’s again. I’d rather drive all the way up to UF SHANDS by the airport In extreme pain for excellent customer care. Emergency team is great but these nurses on the 4th floor need sensitivity training. How to do …

Worst ER experience EVER! Waited over an hour in the waiting room. Saw a doctor pretty quickly – she ordered a CT which happened in the time she said it would. But then it took over 3 hours to get the results. Then given the general …
I have to agree with the reviews. They at least took their time and have me good care the first time I went in but I’m guessing that was because I had insurance. The next time I had to go they couldn’t deny that I had a life-threatening …
Visited and ER and was also admitted to the hospital back in March. Care was average if not below, but the billing department is horrible. I set up a Payment plan with them and after 2 months they closed my account to run with insurance …

This hospital had the audacity to charge 6.6 THOUSAND DOLLARS for about 60 mins in the ER, one dose of prilosec, one dose of Zofran and routine bloodwork. They charged another $70 for an xray. No other tests were completed. None. THIS is why the medical system bankrupts Americans. This is thievery and should be illegal.
I had an accident and injured my foot. St. Vincents staff was wonderful on caring for me and treating my foot.
India at the front desk was so sweet in helping me. She had security move and …

I underwent lower spinal surgery last month and was in the Southside hospital for 5 days. I chose St.Vincent’s Southside because the neurosurgeon operates there. I am home recovering and trust that all went well with my surgery. But …
I recently had cervical spine surgery at St Vincent’s and have to say the staff and nurses were outstanding. I spent some recovery time in a section called “Posh” and was lucky enough to to be attended to by nurse Nicole VanOrmer, she went above and beyond to make my recovery very comfortable. I would definitely use this hospital again.
I’ve had good service there in the past but this last time has made me say I will never go back to that place again. I waited for over three hours to be seen by a nurse practitioner who then told me I would be on the fast track with my …
My experience was awful! The triage nurse was rude. She took my vitals and then suddenly became nice and got me a wheelchair. Once I was in the treatment room, the male nurse jammed the long Q tips up into my sinuses, for COVID-19 test, …
If I could give zero stars I would. If you actually want to be medically treated, don’t come here TO THESE LIARS. My dad was in the ER waiting room for 9hrs with no update as to when he’d be looked at. Since I can’t wait with him because of …
I came to St Vincent’s due to miscarriage. The staff was beyond compassionate and, understanding. From the receptionist to the ultrasound technician everyone was kind and, tried to keep my spirits high as best as they could. The staff I had …
So the nurse asked me if I was pregnant and I said there’s no possible way and she sarcastically asked me if I had a uterus…yes but don’t I have to be intimate to become pregnant because that’s something I haven’t done in months. She caught …
I gave birth here on February 3rd. My nurses were amazing. If I remember correctly my day shift nurse was Katherine and my night shift nurse who helped deliver my babe was Cindy. I hope that was their names because I’m super grateful how wonderful, caring & understanding they were throughout my whole delivery as I am a first time mom.
We’ve been here a few times before and have always been treated well until now. Went in late at night because my girlfriend was feeling ill, was told by the person at the front that I was not allowed to come in with her due to covid …
Very rude misleading leaders at AMG, Operational Excellence. I was hired under false pretense and lead to believe I was the problem. Everyday I tried my best to accommodate and do my job without standing on corners soliciting resumes. They …
They keep making appointments for ultrasounds for my wife and not doing ultra sounds.. we spent money on a pointless appointment and now again they are telling us they are not doing an ultra sound. This would make it over 12 weeks with no …
I had outpatient surgery today at St Vincents Southside. As such, I had the opportunity to experience many of the nurses in pre and post op. I suspect that this morning was a busier time than normal because of the number of nurses attending …
I stayed 2 days due to a surgery. Was by far the worse experience I have ever seen. My dr was great, but the nurses and assistants were PATHETIC! They looked and acted clueless! One nurse was giving an update to a new shift nurse and told …
The nurses and physicians are very caring. More so than any other hospital I’ve been in. Service was quick too. I was in the ER for an adverse reaction to my meds and I was seen and treated within minutes. Thank you!
The people at the emergency registration needs to learn what customer service is…they mumble under their masks then have an attitude when they can’t hear you. One of the worst hospital’s in Jacksonville. Go spend your time elsewhere
Wife was in the ss campus as an inpatient for extreme confusion. Due to COVID there was a no visitor policy. She was there five days and not once did a doctor reach out to me to discuss here case or prognosis I received info second hand by …
Worst service overall, Incompetent office staff across the board, No transparency. They bill you at the highest possible way that will benefit them to the maximum extent possible. You will be surprised with their unreasonably higher bills. …
I had an MRI test yesterday 7:30AM. I just want ‘THANK” the young lady that did the test. I walk with a cane–back issues–. She was very helpful in assisting me to and from the MRI room. Polite and informative. I did not get her name, but wanted her to know I appreciated her help.
I rushed my son into the hospital er at 640am after he woke up drenched in sweat and had a fever of 105 and had difficulty breathing and a severe headache. We we were the only ones in ER at this time. I understand they switch shifts at 7am. …
I was asked to arrive early, but scheduled for another time which was confusing. I waited a fair amount of time in the lobby and then again in a second waiting area. I spent almost 3 hours at the appointment. I felt rushed in the beginning …
I visited this location 2 years ago and it seemed very unorganized for the paperwork of my toddlers scheduled appointment. I was charged more $ than I should have been, but luckily I was refunded by check several weeks later. I am leaving a …
The best place ever in Jacksonville,
The staff & doctors and nurses are the greatest in the world. I would recommend anyone to come here for any medical problem. First time ever coming to St. Vincent medical center.
I took my sister here to thr ER 8/1/21. She was in severe pain. I don’t know what screening process this place uses, but I don’t think it is the best. Now my sister is a registered nurse so she has compassion and patience for every …
The only testing done at all was for the flu/covid. I was not even given a urine test, which struck me as very strange as that seems to be common practice with ER visits in my experience (of which I have unfortunately had more than a few). …
All of the staff from Admissions to nursing care has been exemplary!!! I can’t say enough good things. Everyone explained and communicated all the procedures and protocols. I never had to wait a minute when I rang the nurses station. They …
Excellent staff the only thing I see that really needs to be addressed is the discharge. I was told I was going to be kicked loose then it was more than 2 hours later for discharge. I missed my Uber and I almost took the IV out myself just to hurry things along.
This place is a joke especially with the “doctor” Aih Alashhab my mom have a serious serious stomach pain for the to enter the emergency and they and up checking her heart only for absolutely no reasons even after we tell them she only have …
The Worst hospital in all of Jacksonville expect to wait 4+ hours in the emergency room and none of the lazy nurses will let you know that when checking in. Every staff member is on their phone and making jokes with each other instead of …
I needed to see doctor since my 2 hour wait yesterday blew my day especially after they said doctor wasn’t seeing patients because of a computer issue…
Today before leaving my house I called to confirm they were up and running. …
Actually my first hospital experience. Everyone was so nice and attentive. I came early so everything was taken care of on time. I just want to say a thanks to Steve, Kristi, Christina, Erica, Amalie, Richard, Bethany, Amanda, and plenty of …
1 star is too much. I’d rather give St Vincent’s a -5 stars instead. My boyfriend came in last night complaining of severe back pain so severe that he could not sit. After 2.5 hrs they finally called him back where we proceeded to wait …
Old and crowded. Tiny rooms with one chair and narrow hallways that are dangerously packed with equipment. Lack of communication with family members. Will never allow a family member to go back there!
I’ve had over a dozen different surgeries, in different hospitals, states, etc., including military hospitals. I have never been treated so rudely and uncaring as I was in my recovery at this hospital. Not only was I treated so poorly, my …
This place was great. Fast service, friendly people and results. We first went to memorial hospital and memorial was Horrible (Strongly warn about memorial, Do Not go to memorial) memorial ran no tests and no doctor ever saw her after 3 or …
Cindy from front desk hung up the phone when I politely asked to speak to a patient advocate! This was for reasons of being poorly mistreated by the staff earlier!
The registered nurse for the most part was kind and caring except for one RN in the emergency room who needed to go back to nursing school She did not even know that a port a cath is a central line!!! Another issue with the emergency room …
I gave birth to my son at this hospital. Needless to say, the nurses were amazing!! I ended up staying longer than intended, however, every nurse that I saw was caring and patient especially Myle! She did an outstanding job!! I wouldn’t mind giving birth here again in the future.
Dr Michelle M did a great job, the hospital has a procedure after you deliver the baby they move you to a tiny dated room a mile away from the entrance. My wife could barely stand up and walk around (she had c section) without the hazard of stepping on something and felling! We gave 2 ⭐️ just for Dr Michelle
I went to the er last night because I was having trouble getting my breath. I found the staff there very professional and pleasant to deal with. Though it took awhile I understand because the room was full. What I didn’t understand was the …
i went into the ER around 4:40 am after passing out not once, not twice, but three times but i was taken in right away. when i was in nurse mike helped me out a lot so i would like to thank him. after that i was seen by a female doctor who …

I cannot begin to describe how absolutely perfect my time was at St Vincent Southside. From the time I checked in until I was brought out in the wheelchair following my surgery, I was treated like royalty. The nurses had a wonderful sense …
Worst hospital visit ever. They don’t even deserve one star. How do you have someone that comes in with chest pain ,high blood pressure and Congestive Heart Failure sitting in the waiting room for 5 hours and not check on them… Only thing you did was blood work and xray….Smh. They need to do better.
Brought my fiancé to the ER today with a shattered elbow. Sitting in ER FOR OVER 2 hours and no pain medicine. He has had x-rays. Now we are waiting for who knows what. He would still like something for pain!!
My grand baby was taken to St. Vincent’s on Belford Rd in Jacksonville, FL Monday 12/12/22. Doctors diagnosed her with 102 degree temperature, chronic cough and bronchitis, but stated Bronchitis was not contagious. She continued to run a …
The emergency doctor was always professional and kind, understanding, and beyond fabulous and I would love for him to always be my doctor in the ER. I will always go there if he is there. God Bless him for the professional doctor he is. His name is Dr. Christopher Kline. ❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏 …
Spent 4 days here trying to recover from chronic constipation. During my stay I was on a clear liquid diet and a few medications. Despite taking a prep a total of 3 times within a week. The nurses were great with Brooke and Amanda standing …
Disgustingly inappropriate behavior from the desk person, Shanitta Monee Ruise. She was yelling at a patient while I was in the waiting room. I had to later ask another employee for her name so that I can report her and warn others about …
I understand every ED en this country is saturated, patient everywhere. But as a ED nurse where I used to work chest pain was a high priority we have to start CP protocol in less than 3 min of patient registered with a CP complain. IS …
Had both of my daughters at this hospital. Most recently I had the pleasure of being under the care of Dr. Yeykal and it could not have been a better experience. She was patient, attentive, and just so kind. Dr. Yeykal set the standard …
I was debating either a one or two star but ultimately I was so frustrated with this stay I even begged my doctor to release me early so I had to go with one star. The nursing staff and patient care techs were nice and genuinely very …
Had a scheduled c section here and due to all doctors being in surgery and my allergies (which were noted my entire pregnancy) I had to wait 5 hours to receive pain meds. I had a supervisor of nurses come talk with me and make a mockery out …
My mother is currently at St Vincent’s Southside after a minor surgery. Honestly, I have never seen such attentive staff. I am in healthcare, and tend to view with a critical eye, but they are taking care of her as if she was their own …
Took my parter in today because out of the blue he felt short of breath, couldn’t stand and could barely feel his feet. not only did it take at least 10 minutes for someone to come to my car and get a wheelchair and help him (mind you i was …
At least once a month, I am admitted in the hospital because I have myasthenia gravis and I need treatment called IVIG. I have no idea where to begin about the staff here that has become a huge part of my life. One word comes to mind and …
I have been dealing with St Vincent’s over this very simple issue since the beginning of the year. My old insurance was billed (even though I gave them my updated insurance at this visit), and they have not given me proof to-date that it …

From the time I arrived to the time I went to labor & delivery, the ER staff was very attentive and found the main issue I had (severe kidney infection). Loved the ER staff here. Initially I went to this hospital because my OB clinic is …
I was in the hospital last July (2021) for two weeks, 5 days on a ventilator with the delta variant of Covid and in ICU. I was not allowed visitors and my wife had to make all decisions and communicated by phone for me because I was …
I must start off by saying that “Uncle John” in the dialysis department is funny and compassionate. He’s a real people person and goes above and beyond to make his patients comfortable and as worry-free as possible. He answered all of my …
Needed to go to the ER and St. Luke’s was the closest one that accepts my insurance. Typically, I take my kids to Baptist South’s ER at Town Center. I actually had a wonderful experience here. The waiting room was nice and clean and even …

This is by far the worst hospital I have been in. I am currently in the hospital and I can’t wait to leave. Do not come here.
They did not know how to put an IV in at all they kept switching nurses to do my IV worst experience ever
Very happy with the care my husband received by both Dr.Edwards and his staff.
Thank you Dr. Edwards
Mrs.Roberts
Receptionist Miserable Person
Kelly O, Nurse ARROGANT, PATRONIZING
Mathew PA, playing Doctor and a Lone Ranger taking care of all patients in emergency room
A goose was blocking the sidewalk. When I tried to walk past it it hissed at me – 5 stars!!!
Worst experience ever. I would recommend no one to ever go to this hospital
I live less then 5 minutes from Memorial Hospital. I will pass right by it and go here. I have always had very nice service here.
Mom got a hip replacement done there that day. Very professional, went we and on time.
I love st.vincents healthcare my mom works there and one time my grandpa had a heartatack and they fixed him up really well go to st.vincents south side if you need to go to the hospital
I was very sick 😷, the physicians and nurses were very helpful, professional. It was the best treatment I have received in a hospital. …
Nursing staff was excellent. Case manager was also very on top of it. All tech staff was super friendly as well.
I was very happy with the excellent care I received at this hospital. Everyone I came in contact with was professional and compassionate.
just dont go they mock and degrade their patients and didnt even get my own iv out. so horrible
They saved me
Abdominal pain w severe pain no treatment just discharge. Poor care.
The staff is a mixed bag; some are awesome, but the ones that are …
Slow, not even busy. Waited for a warm blanket for 30 minutes in emergency room.
Clean friendly and the only hospital I’m willing to go to.
My daughter was also just born there and we got out in a very reasonable time soon after 👍 …
Not posting reviews is a crime
And Jeane to name a few that …
Not what it used to be. Bad customer service all around.
My husband is there right now and he’s abandoned the nurses don’t anything, he has a headache, he doesn’t eat anything since yesterday in the morning, so even the doctor saw him, wowwww, I’m disappointed.
I recieved the best care! I am very pleased to deliver my secound child here this coming november! The staff is so inviting feels like family!
Nice nurses and doctors not very long wait due to it not being busy today clean and safe triage and thank god i went there and not care spot
Everyone did an awesome job. Could not have had a better experience. 2nd time giving birth here and both times were wonderful.
I have my first baby here even though I was due in November she came on September 9th I love all the nurses and doctors they made sure me and my little one was comfy I was very high risk due to preeclampsia and everyone answered all my …
Efficient and caring physicians and nurses.
The care given is always above and beyond.
But overall had a bad experience herre, nurse and doctor says I dont know and walks out
What a horrible experience
Went to ER have a bacterial infection
Nurse kept making jokes …
Horrible.
Nurse: Jennifer, Is the worst nurse Ever!!!
4Th Floor Avoid! Worst Nurse and Doctors!
I Pray Never Ever To Come Here In My Life
Could not be more happy with the level of care I have received.
Nichisch comes in he is probably the only professional and courteous doctor in …
Very responsible respectful caring staff. My care was quick and attenive. I recommend the hospital to everyone
The doctors and nurses took great care of my newborn son 💙 ❤ 💕
Forever grateful for the care we received here. 3/24/2002 …

Following surgery I was ignored by my nurses. Ill be contacting an attorney and insurance company. No one even bothered to check on me even after informing the charge nurse. No one should have to sit in pain for 17 hours after major abdominal surgery.

How to do …

I spent some recovery time in a section called “Posh” and was lucky enough to to be attended to by nurse Nicole VanOrmer, she went above and beyond to make my recovery very comfortable. I would definitely use this hospital again.
