Dr. Nita Patel is a board certified Dermatologist and founder of Advance Dermatology & Laser Medical Center, Inc. She received her Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Irvine and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1987. Dr. Patel graduated from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in 1991 and completed her dermatology residency at the UCLA and VA West Los Angeles Medical Centers in 1995. Dr. Patel is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and has extensive experience in general dermatology, skin cancer surgery, cosmetic procedures and lasers. She is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor at the David School of Medicine at UCLA and teaches dermatology residents, rotating residents and medical students on a volunteer basis. Dr. Patel is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.

They are extremely punctual and Dr Patel is a very knowledgeable dermatologist willing to answer and explain any questions you pose.
The paperwork didn’t take all that long, the wait to see the doctor was reasonable and she with her assistant was efficient and caring.
This has been the single worst experience I have ever had with an office staff. They are rude and unprofessional. It was a unreal . Zero stars if I could. There are too many other places to go to waste your time and money on these guys. Doctor seems ok but just ok.
If you suffer from Alopecia hair lost dont come here u will lose more hair from the shots that they give you i changed to a different doc around LAX area its been 1 month n my hair is almost fully grown

Both the woman at the front desk and Dr. Patel’s assistant were pleasant, however Dr. Patel was not very welcoming. She wasn’t too engaging in our conversation and didn’t make an effort to reciprocate. Felt as if I was another person to get in/out for the day.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Patel and her staff — especially Lundy. Dr. Patel has the perfect bedside manner and is very talented. I have used her for both basic dermo issues and cosmetic issues.
