I called to inquire about a billing question and discovered I was NOT speaking to anyone in Akron or even U. S. but as employee with accent responded “I am off–shore”…!!! This company that now owns the Beacon is slowly killing off this journal in many ways. This is SAD!! 😣😠!! I will be cancelling soon my subscription.😖 …
Billing overcharges call to cancel and spoke to somebody in the Philippines , supposedly was going to handle it and credit my account . Didn’t happen ,the second time after being overcharged I called and I got somebody in Columbia. What about keeping jobs here in Akron , canceled subscription after over 20 years , sad 🙁
