The worst hospital I have ever been in. The doctors don’t know what they are doing. They often times will be lazy and refuse to do proper treatments and just send you home. I feel like it is a money machine for them. Even the doctors outside of this area complain about AMH and how incompetent they are.
Alleghany is ALWAYS good to me. Dr. Grogen was amazing. I was fighting sickness for 6 months and because of him (after 3 ERs and multiple drs visits) I found out I have Lymes Disease among other things. …
Terrible experience with ER staff. Treated me like a drug addict. Anyone receiving care at AMH should request a copy of your record. Mine was full of errors. I am writing a letter of complaint, but next time, I’ll travel to Elkin for emergency care if possible.
I cannot speak highly enough about Alleghany hospital in Sparta NC. Unfortunately I’ve had to go there 3x in the last year, I’ve been tested with the utmost of ccare and speed. Thank you all, much appreciated from the front desk person that checked me in to the nurses, Drs and Vat scan crew. Thank you all very much.
Dr. Groban and nurse Sara took excellent care of me during a difficult time. I showed up in extreme stomach pain, they listened to my long story, ordered a ct scan right away and pain medicine. He diagnosed my issue and ordered meds to help heal my stomach. I’m grateful that Sparta has such a nice ER and a caring staff!
