Quite literally the only reason ABB is still even in business here is because it essentially has a monopoly. I literally cannot say anything more that has already bees said. Worst. Provider. Period.
Horrible service. Always going out. Customer service is awful. All they want you to do is unplug the system and plug it back in. They have taken tickets for them to call me back and I’ve never received a phone call. Do not go with this company.
If I had any other options I would go with them. I know I won’t get the best of the best as a rural customer, but I get about half the download speed I’m billed for.
Very poor service. Internet dont work often. They tell you nobody else is having trouble, but you know there lying. Its on Facebook that its not working
If I could give zero stars I would. My dislike of ABB knows no bounds because they are the only company in town and they know it so they charge WAY too much for their services.
The speed is terrible. I can’t even come home from work and watch my shows on Hulu or Netflix. The price is way to high for the speeds they offer it is a definite rip off.
I’ve been having issue for the past few weeks that when my console disconnects randomly from the internet, same with my phone, was hoping it would be fixed by this time but a call is definately being made tomorrow
You guys have a Monopoly in this town. Called CenturyLink and they said that American Broadband will not let them in here. Your internet is about as useful as a screen door on a submarine. You guys need to fix it now
The ladies in the office are sure enough nice I had tv and internet….. on day one of the tv the pictures had lines and bars in it continuously so I’d change channels about 45 seconds after changing channel it would do the same thing I …
TERRIBLE INTERNET !!!!!! Slow response time for repair issues, connection problems it’s bad when u dont have reliable internet in this day and age!! Forget Zoom or online homework, google classroom forget it! If you live outside city limits its a joke and even in city limits its terrible
Its 930 and they still have their answering machine on that says they are open at 9am! Seriously ?! A phone company that doesn’t know when to turn the machine off and answer their damn phone? Oh wait there is no other service provider to …
Worse service ever. Haven’t had Internet since Wednesday. I have called twice. First time guy said tech would call me in 24 hours never did. Second time caller he said someone would be out today. No one ever showed up.
Great people work in the Blair office & that’s the only one I’ve visited, however I have spoken to people in (?) Wayne(?)
Also their techs are on time, personable & very efficient & once they’re finished with the work, any questions, don’t hesitate to call!
I just wanted to give a huge Thank You to all who made sure by mother’s cable was hooked up by Christmas! She is so happy to be able to watch holiday shows this year! You all went above and beyond; we appreciate that so much.
American Broad Band is an American Rip Off. When COX in Omaha can provide better service for less than half the price, there is something terribly wrong with this picture. ABB’s tech support can barely answer the phone and it would seem …
Not really sure what everyone is complaining about this is about what you can expect from a rural ISP. Prices seem to be inline with other rural companies like Great Plains and North East NE Telephone. ABB definitely cares more about …
Internet services are a joke and so is their customer service. Lost internet over the weekend and they won’t send anyone out to fix the problem till at earliest Monday. Cox sends out and has workers available at all times for their customers. Worst service ever.
We have waited nearly 4 weeks to get service. We asked for an AFTER 4:30 time slot and told them it wouldn’t be until 4:40 until we got there because we couldn’t get off work until then. We get there at 4:40 the person already left. After …
Two months for a single installment, overpriced, restricted hours, HORRIBLE customer service and satisfaction … this is a perfect example of why a single company having control of a restricted area is terrible. Their mentality isn’t that …
Worst experience with this company! The customer service is horrible. The operator was rude and it will take 24-48 hours for them to just call me back to schedule a time for them to come out. The price is way too high for the internet we receive. Time to bring someone new to Blair!!
Customer service and services from this company were never good. Now that there is other providers in town. It will be a very big mountain to climb to keep what customers they have.
First off, I want to say only one lady in customer service has never been rude to me and actually tried to help me when I was having problems with my service so kudos to you Jenny. With this being said the other ladies need some serious …
My service is a rip off. Earlier this month, I received notice that the price was increasing another $5.00 per month and today, nothing is loading right. I pay for DSL but my dialup with Great Plains was faster. If our prices increase, …

STILL Terrible speeds; TERRIBLE pricing; $45/month for 10 meg; $49/month for 100 meg; I have no access to their 100 meg, but still get charged just as much.; cable wire laying in my backyard for over a year. Extremely disappointed with their lack of investment to improve service.
I can’t even express how frustrated I am with the services we’re paying for. The internet is slow and it randomly goes out for no apparent reason. I play video games with my friends and out of nowhere I get disconnected from the internet …
Almost daily my service would be unavailable for 1-2 hours, usually during the heat of the business day. The prices are 2.5 times what any other internet provider would charge, and if you need help with anything you had better devote an …
I’ve had this service for a year now. No exaggeration when I say daily service outages. Consistently less than 1mbps and when it’s running it’s at 5mbps. Googles speed test laughs when it’s done running. Our neighborhood has been in talks with other providers to force this joke of a company out of here
I have never been more dissatisfied with a services company. Between their faulty internet and cable services, they’re embarrassing department of “customer service” and their rude service techs and lack of response – I wish there was another option. Absolutely shameful way to run a customer facing company.
They change the way they do billing, get the bill a day before its due, and now every month my bill is wrong until they get it fixed. It’s been 3 months of them not getting it corrected.
I didn’t want to attach these pictures, because I didn’t want to sit and wait for them to upload. I did want to get my two cents in, so I endured the wait. Probably the worst ISP (“Internet” “Service” “Provider”) I’ve had to waste so much …
I purchased new services in the summertime, both Internet and Cable from American Broadband. I was scheduled within a 3 week time frame and my technician, Brendan, was very efficient and showed me how to use my equipment. Thus far, my speed is great and I have no complaints. Thanks, ABB for being a great local provider!
I’ve lived in different area omaha , Oklahoma and so on… I’ve never had the experience like now of being stuck with on company to choose from. Service is the worst ever lady at the front desk overly rude. I just don’t understand how there is no one else to choose for a service. Internet in blair nebraska sucks!

Steer clear of this company if that’s at all possible. They cannot seem to service thier customers and thier service is very slow during peak usage times (evenings) as they don’t provision properly. Wait times for any repair faulty equipment seems to always ‘days’. I’d recommend Starlink as an alternative.
We have been waiting for a technician to come out since July 13. Today is August 31, and still no technician. I call once a week to remind them, we were originally told they’d send someone out within two business days. Quite possibly they might make two business months
The only way to know if there’s an outage is to call – no status updates on site or email advisory to customers to help avoid frustration or confusion – remedying these problems would earn it a 4/5 for the service they provide. I’m not sure …

They have always treated the customer in low regard. They were the only provider in Blair, NE and treated us very poorly, and charged rates that were far above area standards for such slow and unreliable service. They could have offered …
Worst customer service of any business I’ve dealt with. Sad that it’s a local business in small town Blair and nobody has anything good to say about it anymore.
When the service works, I have no complaints. When it doesn’t, good luck getting help. No tech support, and more importantly, no updates when service will be restored. I guess when you have a monopoly as a provider, you dont need to worry about customer service. Good thing Cox is coming to town 🙂
Couldn’t be happier that Great Plains has come to Blair to run ABB out of town. ABB is the worst company that I have ever dealt with for anything. Cant wait to see ABB go out of business.
You would think that a company that runs fiber would know how to to have utilities spotted. Hitting the same water line twice in 2 days is rediculous. Though based on the quality of their customer service, I can’t say I’m surprised that they cut corners with employee training.
What a terrible company. They hold a monopoly on the area and they know it. Terrible service, treat customers like trash, but what can you do. If you live in Blair or Wayne you get good service. Anywhere else you better be ready to kiss the ABB ring if you want any service.
After waiting 1 1/2 hours in the office last month to get my bill corrected I just received this month’s bill which is also wrong plus it says I owe money from last month’s bill. The reason I had to wait so long in the office was because …
American broadband is the worst company I’ve ever had to deal with. They are definitely earning all the bad reviews they get. My Internet has gone down 3 times in the past 8 months. The first two times it took a week for somebody to get out to fix it. Right now my Internet is down with no end in sight.
Customer service is absolutely terrible. Charging me 89.99 for 10mbps internet is so slow WiFi doesn’t even work it has to be direct connected through ethernet. Absolutely disgusting how this company will monopolize a area and then charge insane prices for internet service and lines that haven’t updated in decades.
I would give American Broadband 0 stars if possible. For years, they have bought out small town companies that don’t have access to fibre or major cable companies. They raise prices and the customers in these small towns have no other …
Spent this afternoon filling the holes left in my backyard created by the crackhead subcontractors used to lay new fiber optic cable this past spring. Tired of waiting for American Broadband to do anything. My calls went ignored by the project Mgr. and the Blair office.
Terrible customer service. Can’t get a hold of anyone when you need. Mistakes in billing, etc. As soon as I have an option, I’m out. I wish Elon would buy this place instead of twitter. Then fire the management!
Only thing you can count on is your service going out on a daily basis numerous times or for extended periods. Got their fiber optic HOPING this would change….yeah, right.
Other than HughesNet, this is the worst company I have ever dealt with. First off, the want to charge you over $100 for service that very rarely works. Then, they start to do a great job and was charging $65 a month. Then without notice …
Unfortunately, American Broadband has a corner on the market where we live. We will be switching just as soon as there is another viable option. The service itself is spotty at best. Their customer service is nonexistent.

Absolutely the worst services. Unless you live in Wayne or Blair don’t expect any customer support. They know they have a monopoly over the small towns and rural communities so they get away with treating us like dirt.
Garbage service.
Speedy fixes
Terrible
5 star service
Busy and nice
Always friendly and helpful
Internet is horribly slow!
Expensive. But it is good
Terrible
Hate this place they’re a monopoly
Always problems.
Good customer service ridiculously expensive
Disorganized and dishonest.
so bad i can’t load anything ever and it costs so much
Good fast service, affordable prices
Way overpriced for slow internet speeds.
This internet is garbage get rid of it and get unlimited data and hot spot it’s its what i do.
Prices are high, sometimes service is mediocre.
Price is ridiculous. But it’s the only game in town. So I P&M and pay the price.
Decent customer service. Ive been happy so far.
Awful internet provider, worst customer support I have ever seen.
Terrible service and even worse company.
Consistently unreliable 5mbps download speed. Usually around 2.4 or lower during peak hours in the evening.
Internet drops constantly. Boo! Doesn’t fcc and attorney general office have any pull when businesses dont provide with what they advertise??
absolutely horrific internet connection, also 2 stars in total from reviews I believe speaks for itself. something needs to be fixed.
Quite literally the only reason ABB is still even in business here is because it essentially has a monopoly. I literally cannot say anything more that has already bees said. Worst. Provider. Period.
Great Internet service. Local employees who care about the customer. Great cable lineup that is easy to memorize.
High price poor service. Don’t return phone calls. Only option though so guess everyone just needs to deal with it.
Much improved since getting fiber optic. Now just waiting on better prices and would be 5 star
Customer service could be nicer. Called with a question and was a little rude. Prices are a little high as well.
Have never given anybody a bad review But wow is there a 0
Offices have been closed to the public for the plandemic. Gotta use on-line for help. Not good at informing customers about this.
Horrible service. Always going out. Customer service is awful. All they want you to do is unplug the system and plug it back in. They have taken tickets for them to call me back and I’ve never received a phone call. Do not go with this company.
Overcharged for minimal service. Switched to Great Plains Communications.
Customer service is AWESOME! All are great, girls/women up front & especially Aurora at her desk to the left!
Love the internet, but impossible to pay your bill on line or on the phone, would give them for ease of paying a minus 1
If I had any other options I would go with them. I know I won’t get the best of the best as a rural customer, but I get about half the download speed I’m billed for.
Very poor service. Internet dont work often. They tell you nobody else is having trouble, but you know there lying. Its on Facebook that its not working

Awful speeds and very high payments. Customer service is okay but it doesn’t make up for the exorbitant prices. Would give a 0 if I could.

10MBPS for $100 a month and terrible customer service.
