horrible billing practices – for a recent example, I just got a bill from them where, in order to pay online, you input an access #. Of course, the access number is wrong.
Dr. Chris Robertson gave me an epidural and it was so painful. It was worst then labor contractions. It was my second time getting one. The first time was a lady and I didn’t feel a thing. It was amazing. Dr. Robertson felt like he was …
The first gal I talked to was very nice & professional. I called back with my insurance on the other line to resolve an issue & when TAMMY ALLMAN got on the phone she was EXTREMELY rude & loud. So unprofessional!! I was simply trying to get an issue resolved & they didn’t help AT ALL.
Received my statement, made a $100 payment, month later, get another statement…a week later getting a letter that they will send my account to collections….would rather have surgery without anesthesia than to deal with these people! Much less painful! Wanted to give no stars, but ya have to at least select one to post!
Issues with payment and HSA credit card. Needed help resolving issue. Called billing on April 6, 2021, first thing in the morning. Billing representative was extremely rude, and mean. No attempt to help or any suggestions. I was very taken back by their lack professionalism and customer service. She actually hung up on me.
No issues with the Dr that provided anesthesia, although my emergency surgery didn’t offer another option for anesthesia professional. The experience after was horrible. Every interaction with the office and their staff and beyond …
I agree with the other negative review by Brenda. This business is not patient friendly and are a bunch of hardcore bill collectors. Very unprofessional. First, I do not know any person who chooses their anesthesiologist. It seems that …
I would give a zero if it was allowed. There’s a reason why they only have 1.4 stars. Awful customer service, no compassion or kindness. Everyone at the office has been rude. This office told me to not use Methodist Health systems if …
They offer no financial aid. You may be sent to collections for even being a single day late on your payment. You may not be able to reach a person able to discuss your bill during their normal business hours due to lengthy employee absences. If I had a choice while on the operating table, I would have gone with another company.
I’ved used these doctors here for multiple procedures and have found the staff to be very nice. Anyone who says they staff Bergan Mercy should get their poop in a group… they only provide NE Methodist and Midwest Surgical. Perhaps people …
The anesthesiologist was awesome and funny.
However, when I went to pay the bill there was no payment information. I contacted the company and no one responded. I had to do some google shenanigans to …
I don’t understand the reviews on here. Sounds like people aren’t paying their monthly bills. Yes, they send a letter if payment is missed but isn’t that all businesses? I was about a week late one time and received a reminder letter but …
same as everyone else. Was making payments through their online system monthly, because they told me I couldn’t set up a monthly payment schedule, but still got sent to collections. have copies of all my receipts and when I called to ask …
We have no issue with the service or professionalism with the anesthesiologist, at all. Our issue is with the totally rude and unprofessional billing office. When we received the initial bill, we called to see if they would accept a cash …
The billing office at this place is horrific. I can’t believe they don’t try and change some things considering they have a lot of the same complaints. I called to make payment arrangements which went fine. I had a $500 bill and was going …
I had surgery 3/29/17 and after insurance paid what they did. I received a bill for $1822.25. I paid any where from $200-$372.25 each month. I didn’t miss a month of paying. It is now October and I owe $800. However, I was sent to …
Religiously made monthly $50 payments on a $288 bill and with only 2 more payments left sent me to collections. They’re not my only bill, they’re not my only Dr Bill. They need to realize normal people can’t pay off $6k in medical bills right away I would give them NO stars if I had the option.
I TRIED to explain to the billing office that I didn’t have an opportunity to ask what the price of the anesthesiology service would be when I was in pain on the operating table (emergency surgery/didn’t know what it was until I had to go …
My anesthesiologist was absolutely amazing the people in the office not so much. called today and made my payment they told me they were going to up my payment and I had two months to pay it in full which means I have to come up with $1400… …
Sent to collections with a $0 balance. After calling the billing office, it was discovered that our payment was placed in the wrong spot and we had a $92.12 credit that was not applied to our bill so we were sent to collections for $92.12. …
Unethical Billings practices. According to my insurance, my responsibility is less than half of what I’m being billed for. Contacted them and was advised they are calculating their own allowable amount and I should take their word for it. …
Very unethical. The last thing you need is an unethical doctor. Avoid them at all costs.

They send threatening letter less than 90 days of surgery for a bill less than 150. It took 45 days for it to get through insurance.
Unfortunately they do not do sliding scale or offer financial assistance. I had no issues with staff. The anesthesiologist did great.
