Arapahoe County Water and Wastewater Authority (CO) Reviews ( 20 )
Extremely disappointed in ACWWA. Water is terrible and hard, doesn’t clean my dishes and the price is INSANE. There is one of me and I pay $109 a month. Before you move make sure to check the Water Supplier. If It’s Acwwa I would seriously reconsider
I pay 150$/m, and would pay it gladly if the water was drinkable. Unfortunately for us it’s not, so not only do I pay 150$ for water I also pay an additional 75$ to culligan for filteration of the sewage that ACWWA passes of as water.
I’m giving them a 5 start rating because of 1 reason. It definitely isn’t because of cost( extremely high) but any time I’ve had a problem Lisa one of there reps has saved the day. She is professional and very nice. Thanks you Lisa
The water quality is average at best and the fixed fees (~90$ per month) are outrageous. If I do not see a decrease in these fees in 2019 I plan on contacting the BBB. As a financial analyst, I’d like to take a looked to the itemized financial statements of this company because these fees are unethical.
Its a worst company they have fixed amounts on regular basis which makes water bill very higher every month. Even though your consumption is 0 you will have to pay minimum of $100. Water quality is so bad you cannot even drink it leaves stain on your utensils they take money but they are not improving water quality.
I have owned a shared home which is rented since July 2014. No one can drink the water. It’s like drinking chlorine with copper. I have never seen such high fees with a water authority. My renter just got a bill in the mail (31st Dec.) which was due Dec. 4th. This is so unacceptable.
Also not a happy ACWWA customer. Water is drinkable after filtration through a refrigerator, but is otherwise high in chlorine and mineral content. The minerals are hard on every appliance that uses water – coffee maker, dishwasher, …
Had to replace the lines in my bathroom and the hot water heater. Plumber advised that I move out of Arapahoe Water District as this will continue as the water is so bad it ruins water lines and equipment. Must use hard water booster to …
The water quality is horrible, the monthly bill is the highest in the greater metro area and they simply don’t care about the communities they serve. Shows poor leadership in the organization for certain. If I would have known how poor the …
Water quality has gone from bad to worse. Totally undrinkable, brown discoloration. You’re better off getting a bucket of water from Cherry Creek, third world style if you want clean water. I have installed a whole house water filter, as …
As with other reviews, I would rate them a 0. IF you move into this area you will not only pay them for water at the tap, but then find yourself buying drinkable water… Our dishwasher has basically been destroyed by the bad water, along …
Can I give 0 stars?! The quality of the water is HORRIBLE. The dogs dont even like it. WAY too many fees. The water is SO hard it clogs drains! Not just faucets. And they “loose” our checks every month then charge us late fees. If you want …
I originally posted a review about my miserable experience with ACWWA on a separate review site. My family and I have, since then, moved to an area where we no longer had to endure all the stress, extra expenses, price gouging, and repairs …
The monthly bills are WAY, WAY, WAY too expensive. As a complex of 168 units, we pay almost $200,000 for water and sewer. In a complex about 4 miles away that is in another water district, 179 units pays 108,000. I don’t mind much about the …
I would agree with all these reviews. This is the most expensive water I have ever seen. My fixed costs are over 90 dollars a month and that is before it even gets to my usage. That is ridiculous! I’ve never seen costs like this in my life …
We recently had a water leak in our main water pit. Our bill was increasing dramatically every month. I called Arapahoe County Water, Lisa was extremely helpful and kind throughout the process. One of the technicians came out and pumped out …
Water tastes absolutely horrible and like it has chemicals in it. My bill jumped over $70 in one month, just in time for the holidays, when we have been extremely cautious of our water usage. The amount of water we used this month vs. last …
If I could give 0 stars I would. This is the only company I have ever dealt with that has payments due by the 25th of the month when the bill is generated on the 1st. That’s a net 24. By the time you get the bill in the mail, it’s more like …

Very responsive and really nice people in the office.

The ladies at the front desk were really friendly and helpful
